The beds were comfy, showers were warm and the kitchen was in good condition. The staff were lovely and one drove me to the bus station when it was raining!
There wasn’t a comfy social common space. They have way too many chairs and tables and the chairs are always up on the tables which isn’t very welcoming. If they just removed some and replaced a corner of the room with a sofa or something, it would make a really big difference to the space and the vibes of the hostel!

La ubicación
La cocina tan pegada con el estar

Very small bathroom (3 showers and 3 toilets) shared between hostel, camping and campers.

Rien
Comment faire rentrer sur 500 m2 des bungalows, une aire de camping, un parking privé et un semblant d acceuil cuisine salle commune. C est moche. Notre bungalow était moche, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas. A fuir. Très mauvais rapport qualité prix pour l argentine.

La douche est vraiment top ! Casier pour mettre ses affaires. Pas loin du terminal

Dorm had its own bathroom, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful location in a good spot for hikes and transport. Best wifi in El Chalten (although don't expect miracles).

beds, lockers, were great. very friendly staff and good communal space. in my opinion, one of the best budget options in El Chalten.
heater adjustment was broken in room of 4, so it was very hot. kitchen a bit cramped

We came here after hiking to Mt Fitz Roy and needed a break from tents and body odor. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was a nice plate of pastries, yogurt and cereal. The wind HOWLED all night long outside our little cabin-thing and we were very glad to be inside some walls.

nice staff
dirty, crowded hostel with very expensive private room.
4.0
generous breakfast portions
polite staff
terrible value for money, even considering the cost of accommodation in El Chalten. the facilities for the bungalow were minimal- kitchen consisted of a kettle, a fridge that didn’t work and one hob. We were genuinely shocked that the owners felt it acceptable to charge the prices that they do.

The staff was really great. Very helpful and nice. The location was also pretty good, but it did add about 2 kilometers to every hike.
The hostel was incredibly dirty. The bathroom floor was always soaking wet. One toilet was broken but there wasn’t a sign or anything on it so people still used it causing the bathroom to smell like waste all the time (really uncomfortable for showering). The doors didn’t close all the way and there were no locks on the stalls. It was constantly out of paper towels and soap.
My room was not cleaned before I got there (at 10PM). There was trash and open food containers on my night stand that I found out had been there since before the other people in the dorm moved in. I found tons of food trash under the bed, too.
There were also waaaay too many people staying there for the facilities they offered. You could never find an open table in the common room, so I either had to stand and eat or go sit outside a few times. They also operate a kayak business out of the common room, which is one less table that’s available. The kitchen was also always packed and there was not enough space for the people who were cooking.
If I hadn’t already paid, and had there been other options in El Chalten, I would have left after day one. I was very uncomfortable here. I’m sure it would be different if you were camping and expected camping level facilities.

The bedroom was OK and the common room was not particularly comfy but spacious
Arguably the filthiest bathroom I've seen in my life. There was a band-aid in the shower that stayed there for 2 days. The toilets didn't flush properly. Neither the showers nor the toilets had locks so you had to hold the door closed or just hope it wouldn't open suddenly. Very unpleasant.

Best WiFi in Town and very friendly people there
Rooms are very basic but still fine

basic but good kitchen and great showers
some comfy chairs or seating would have been nice as there was only tables and chairs

The staff were so nice, helpful and welcoming! The kitchen is well equipped, wifi is strong (not a given in El Chalten), beds are comfortable.
Bonus , even though it's a bit expensive- they did my laundry and it was clean, pressed and folded and smelled amazing.
The shower had hot water and strong flow but there's no place to hung you clothes and it's a bit small and uncomfortable..

The place is clean.... beds were made and comfortable. We stayed in a 6 man room no issues with the room.... the staff.... they DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH.... but not a deal breaker at all. The staff is super nice! Showers are hot with good water pressure (bring own shampoo and towel). They allowed us to store 5 bags for 3 days only 500 pesos total. The wifi is good if not too many people are on it. You can set up a tent in the back if needed. If staying really cheap and still use the shower and kitchen. You have 1 main fridge that everyone shares as well as all cooking (pots, pans, etc). Front desk is manned 0730 daily and staff live on site. You are close to town 1 block away when you turn left out of hostel.
A little pricy for what you get.
The bathrooms were clean, but could have had tolet paper (bring your own) the sinks in the male bathroom did not work becuase there are no handles and only 1 in the female bathroom.

Place is fairly new, clean and staff friendly.
Bedso are very comfortable.
Noise in the comon area, music too loud.

Bathrooms are nice, but in a different building.
The 4 bed dorm is located outside in a smaller 'house' with 2 floors, but the dorm room itself has no door, so it's more like a 8 bed dorm. Really noisy as the room is right next to the front door and you hear people entering or leaving the building all the time.
