Schwerin, Wismar, Rostock and Stralsund with the island of Rügen are other beautiful day trips to visit and shop. In any case, you should visit the Alten Strom in Warnemünde with its unique flair and delicious fish sandwiches (beware seagulls!) not to be missed (1.5 h walk from Nienhagen).
