This place was amazing! You really do only need just your flip flops and clothes. They really think of everything from anything you need at the beach to shampoo and body wash plus way more. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Can't wait to book again!

This property was perfect! It was so clean inside and decorated so cute. The location could not be better with a short walk to quiet parts of the beach. Overall it far exceeded our expectations. The property owners went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember.

I hate the rating system on VRBO because of properties like this. This is property is the highest tier. Top 2% of properties i have stayed at. Clean, easy access, parking, amenities, furnishings - sure all that. But its the intangibles that set this property apart. A welcome basket, a spice rack, drinks in the fridge, shampoo in the shower both inside and out, nice towels, beach toys, the list goes on.
I know none of these things seem like a big deal but its all of these and more than show a level of care by the owner to provide a great experience.
If we come back to Manasota key, I won't be looking at other options - I am booking this place again

This was a picture perfect vacation - after years of searching for the right paradise to return to annually we finally found it!
Cozy and quiet - with lush landscaped grounds, every detail has been considered.
The property is immaculate, organized, well stocked, comfortable and oh so close to the beach! Bikes, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, beach towels and everything you need for a day at the ocean. Seriously, just bring flip flops and bathing suit and some sunscreen - and the rest is on site, waiting for you!
Carol is a responsive and helpful host. We had a problem with one of the TV remotes and she replaced it in a flash. She helped us with local recommendations, especially the local free Stumpy shuttle to restaurants and more - a must!
The welcome book and appliance guide were an event planner's (me) dream come true.
The beachcomber's new restaurant on the bay was delightful for breakfast and lunch. The trading post had plenty of fun beach items too. Groceries were a breeze just over the bridge, easy to fill out the fridge.
Oh - and - Don't miss the locals celebrating sundown with the sounding of the conch shells!
We will be back - again and again - can't wait!

We are locals who wanted a get away from the day to day. We had a great weekend. King size beds for both rooms. The place was clean and gorgeous. Super easy and short walk to the beach. The owner was very helpful. Will definitely book again!

Carol was an amazing host and readily available. The property is great and its proximity to the beach is perfect. We would set up in the morning at the beach and intermittently head back to the VRBO for bathroom and nap breaks. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely be using Carol and her properties.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we had booked longer. Carol was so easy to work with and her property was comfortable and most importantly clean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had such a wonderful stay! My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. My kids were so excited about the welcome basket with snacks. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was wonderful!

Tropical Oasis
Beautiful property with such nice landscape!
We stayed at Tropical Treehouse and it felt like being in a tropical canopy. The unit is high end and brand new, spotless, they gave so much attention to detail- it is stocked and color coded with everything you can think of. They also have bikes to use and sister property with shared stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Would definitely go back again!! Such close proximity to the beach and the bay.

Beachcomber Bungalows -better than the photos!
Our arrival was easy. We had a long drive and arrived late. We opened the door and - WOW! We were amazed! There was a basket of snacks on the counter and cold beverages in the fridge. Carol has furnished the place with all you could ever need on vacation, including beach chairs, bicycles, and beach towels. This is literally steps away from 3 beach access points. All of the furnishings are top quality and the place is sparkling clean. We will be back!

Short area exploration stay
Beautiful and extremely clean and comfortable. Checking the area out for potential future visits and we’re very happy with what we found. No complaints at all!

Excellent
I can't say enough good about this property! Everything super clean. Bed very comfy. I have stayed at VRBO's for over 20 years and this place is my favorite. Only thing better would be if it was sitting on the beach, but the beach isn't far at all. Walking distance to places to eat. Such a quiet, laid back island feel. Carol is the best...I want to be her! :)
