About this house rental
Welcome to the Sarah E Krenson house built in 1873, a named house on Savannah's historical register, on beautiful sought after Jones St. Located in the downtown historic district, take a step back into a time seeped in Southern history along cobblestone streets with ancient live oak trees draped in Spanish moss.
The house abounds in original details of the period and has also been lovingly updated with modern amenities, the best of both worlds! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to create a large family feast. The adjacent dining room seats 8 and can easily be arranged to seat more. The first floor also has a formal living area, half bathroom and a sitting area in the kitchen, plenty of room to spread out. A lovely private courtyard is right off the kitchen area, with a fountain and seating for 10. The perfect spot for morning coffee before heading out for a stroll through all Savannah has to offer and a place to return to and relax for an evening glass of wine.
The second and third floors consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and 2 are en suites, a unique feature not often found in large historic homes.
This location has been captured in many wonderful movies such as Disney's "Lady and the Tramp", "Glory" and the iconic "In the Garden of Good and Evil".
With 3000 square feet of living space, Jones street on the top 10 list from USA Today's "Prettiest streets in America" , you can make a memorable experience with friends and family at the Sarah Elizabeth House on Jones.

This was the perfect house for us and our extended family while celebrating our SCAD grad! Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. It was quiet. The towels were luxurious. The living room/dining room/kitchen was the perfect setup. It had everything we needed for our 7-day stay. And the neighbors were friendly! Beth and Tim were terrific! I’d highly recommend this property!

To celebrate a parent's milestone birthday, we chose this property -- the stunning street, the beautiful home, the practical location to walk EVERYWHERE. Two couples and a single had more than enough room to spread out. We ate breakfast, snacks and one dinner in with ease. The backyard courtyard was picturesque, quiet and comfortable. Owners were very communicative and helpful with our dining questions. Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is only a block away!! Parking was no issue -- always a spot nearby (usually in front of the house) and the ParkSavannah app made paying -- $9 daily on weekdays -- no problem. Plenty of everything - would totally recommend this property.

The property is lovely and well-appointed. There were six of us staying here—and we had more than enough room to spread out but also space where we could all congregate. The location was perfect. And Tim and Beth were wonderful hosts, even going so far as personally delivering us laundry detergent. Highly recommend this property!

We are four couples that wanted to meet and chill out in Savanah. This was the perfect house in a quiet and beautiful street. Walking distance to downtown. The house itself was quite comfortable with bedroom and bathroom for each couple. The host was very responsive to our queries. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Outstanding location within easy walking distance of all the sights in the historic district. Street parking is available. Outstanding property with four full bedrooms and four and half baths that make for comfortable stay for 8 adults or family. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with amenities, not usually found in short term rentals. The owners were very available and accommodating of leaving bags in rental after checkout on the last day. The backyard area is a huge plus, and made for a pleasant evening gathering place for conversation. The only downside is the other short term rentals in the area. The last two nights we were squeezed between a bachelor party and a bachelorette party in adjoining houses. This made for sleepless nights in the back bedrooms of the house.

We stayed in the Sarah Elizabeth house for 11 nights in October. There were seven of us and with 4 bedrooms and five bathrooms we had ample space. The weather was accommodating so we used the back patio and yard often. The location is great. The street is beautiful and you’re close to Forsyth and straight down Bull takes you through various squares down to the river. Great trip.

Lovely home on a beautiful street and a great location. Walking distance to everything. Parking was a breeze. Beth and Tim were incredibly responsive (although we didn't need for a thing). Outside courtyard was simply the best. Very memorable time for our small family gathering. Thank you!

We are a group of seven friends from New England who take a trip every year. We absolutely loved our stay at the Sarah Elizabeth house. There was more than enough room for our group, good sized bedrooms, a nicely-equipped kitchen and a wonderful back deck and courtyard. The location cannot be beat - excellent shopping and restaurants all within a short walk. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful home located on the most beautiful street in Savannah. It was a group of ten girls and we felt so safe and were able to walk to all of our destinations. The back deck is so sweet and they are in the process of redoing it.
The only thing missing was the kitchen was not well stocked, it was missing paper towels, trash bags.
Overall, a great stay!

Can't say enough good things. Went here for a girls Christmas party. There were 7 of us and there more than enough space for sitting together or going off to our own space. This is in a beautiful location on a fabulous street and convenient to everything. I was concerned about parking but downloaded the park savannah app and it was easy to pay to park here and all around savannah. Tim and Beth are great responsive hosts. We had the best girls trip (and we have had many many trips) don't hesitate as Savannah is a great city and this home is perfect.

Our group of 8 friends from college had a great time in this house. The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. We had a slight hiccup when the first couple to arrive could not get the entry procedure to work but that was solved immediately by the owner, which in my opinion is the best recommendation. Owners were super responsive and even brought in a specific piece of cookware for us. We loved having a dining room table that actually seated our entire group, and we also really enjoyed the outdoor courtyard area. We chose not to have a car since the house was perfectly situated for walking to almost all Savannah highlights.

We hoped that the property was as perfect as the listing showed, and was it ever!! We were looking for space for 4 couples and this fulfilled our needs. 4 bedrooms + 4 bathroom, so each couple had their own spaces. Large kitchen/sitting area in the back that flowed into the beautiful back courtyard area was perfect for visiting in the evenings. The courtyard was beauty for morning coffee and Mimosas as well!
The location on Jones...WOW! What appeal. The trees, cobblestone street, and the front of the house itself, has so much Southern charm.
Walking distance to so much of what Savannah has to offer. Parks, market, River street, and numerus restaurants. As well as easy drive to Tybee and Hilton Head beaches.
The Crystal Beer Parlor around the corner from the house was a treat!
Could go on and on. No regrets. Would recommend to anyone with a larger group or family holiday. We absolutely loved it and would definitely visit again.
Thanks so much to Beth and Tim. Great hosts!!

Six of us stayed at the Sarah Elizabeth house for a long weekend, a family reunion. The house is beautiful and historic, on a gorgeous street, very centrally located. Lots of comfortable areas for us to spend time together, including a huge dining room table and many couches. The beds were very comfortable, and it was lovely to have great a/c in the summer heat. There were multiple bathrooms, which was great with 6 women. 😄 The hosts left us goodies, and great information about the house and city. They replied immediately when we had questions. Be aware that there are a lot of steps. My only recommendation for the hosts would be a few more towels if each size. We would absolutely stay again!

From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we had everything we needed at this rental! Comfortable bedding, spacious and well appointed rooms, well-stocked and we’ll-equipped kitchen, games, movies, adorable courtyard…. This is a place to linger and relax. You can, and should, take your cocktail and stroll down Jones Street - I cannot argue its “prettiest street in the USA” designation. We had family photos taken in nearby Chatham Square and Forsyth Park. Simply stunning. There’s no shortage of restaurants in Savannah. Beth and Tim provide a book listing several of them as well as things to do in Savannah. We ate well in Savannah (The Grey, St. Neo’s Brasserie) and cocktailed well (Electric Moon, Myrtle and Rose, McDonough’s). We cannot wait to return and stay longer!!

A group of 8 of us stayed at this property for my daughter's bachelorette party. The home was absolutely beautiful! With the 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms it was a perfect size for our group. That many bathrooms for a group of 8 women was a dream!! So much space for everyone to spread out when needed and plenty of room to gather as a group! The bedrooms were set up so nicely and everything was decorated with such modern amenities. It was nice having the backyard space to gather as well when weather permitted. We were within nice walking distance to Forsyth Square, City Market and River Street. We could have easily filled another two days with sight seeing. We visited Tybee Island one day which is about a 30-40 minute drive but so worth it. Such a beautiful beach and good restaurants. We would highly recommend this property for a large group or even a smaller group. Absolutely beautiful and clean property. Thank you so much Tim & Beth!

This is a beautiful house with so many different amenities. The owners were very conversational and responded quickly whenever we had a question or if there was a concern. We had a bit of a problem with the door lock sticking, but we alerted them and they were ready to remedy ASAP. Our group loved that everyone had their own bathrooms and there were plenty of spaces to escape to, but also plenty of places to congregate as well. A convenient (albeit sweaty and humid) walk to several shops and restaurants, but we ended up Ubering most of the weekend because it was just that warm out. Everyone truly enjoyed their stay and we appreciated all of the care and attention to detail that went into maintaining the property and making it personalized for the guests. It was such a nice surprise to receive the note and basket of goodies upon arrival too. This will be at the top of our list for our next trip to Savannah.

Perfect Savannah Stay
I can’t say enough about this property! It was perfect for our bachelorette weekend stay! The house itself is on the most beautiful, quiet, street. When you step inside you’ll have 3 floors of gorgeous living space. This is a historic house but rooms and bathrooms have been updated to make for a comfortable stay. It was also spotless and clean! There was more than enough room for our group of 7. Each bedroom had its own bathroom to make getting ready super easy. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and other amenities. The kitchen was stocked with anything you’d need. There’s a large dining room area for meals at home and a few comfortable lounge spaces on the first floor with couches & TV. There is also a private back patio space with an awning and plenty of seating.
The location is wonderful. About a 10-15 minute walk to a breakfast spot and many other restaurants and a 20 minute walk to River St. Communication with the owners, Beth & Tim, was wonderful. They really do a great job to make sure you have an enjoyable stay with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house on a charming street!
Our experience was perfect! The house looks even better in real life than it does on the listing. There is so much space for groups and each bedroom has its own accompanying bathroom which makes getting read easy if you have a large group! We really enjoyed the courtyard in the morning for coffee and late afternoon for wine. The house was a relatively easy walk to town as long as you’re wearing the right shoes or a $5 Uber if you’re feeling lazy! I would definitely stay here again!
