House was plenty big for our group. It has 2 kitchens which was great but mainly used downstairs kitchen because it was easy to eat out on deck. Short drive to several beaches.

Our stay in Wakefield was comfortable and convenient. The house was nice, had plenty of rooms, clean, also nice and cool during a humid July week. It was also conveniently located in Rhode Island. A short distance from the beaches, and to downtown Wakefield and Newport. 3 stars were given due to some minor updates needed on the property.

We had a picture-perfect family vacation in Wakefield! With multiple state beaches nearby, a charming town center an easy walk away, and plenty of grocery options nearby, the location was the perfect launch-pad for summer fun. And as a family that usually lives in a smallish apartment, spreading out was so luxurious! And we had still had plenty of room for friends and family to join us. We were also delighted to find out that the space has central AC, which is a really nice perk on sticky August days. Highly recommend!

This was a great neighborhood, nice location, close to Main Street and bike/walking path. We enjoyed staying here!

Booking this property and the check in process were easy! We paid the cleaning fee (which is standard I’m assuming) and an extra linen fee for our stay. The house was pretty dirty for having just been cleaned when we arrived. We found food under our beds on the third floor and the floors were really dirty. We also had a mouse problem. There were mouse droppings on the kitchen counters, under the kitchen sinks and in some of the kitchen drawers. The renters were very responsive and had an exterminator come out. He removed 6 mice. At the end of our stay, we had to strip all the beds and bag our linens which we thought was a little excessive. We then had to bring in the new linens for the next guests. This was a “vacation stay” but we feel like a lot needed to be done by the guests considering what we paid for.

I have nothing bad to say about this property! It was perfect for two family’s of 4, with 4 kids all under 8. Lots of room, and the second kitchen upstairs made it perfect for each family to be together but have their own area. Centrally located to the beautiful Wakefield center, walking distance to Mews, and Brickely Icecream, and a short 10 min drive to Narragansett Town Beach. Great place, would recommend and go back again with the family!!

While I was a little nervous about the location when we booked this house, we LOVED it. It is perfectly situated between Peace Dale and Wakefield which allows you to take advantage of both of these historic areas. The towns are great with great shops and restaurants and you avoid the crowds in Narragansett. However it is only a few minutes drive to the beach and there is also a YMCA (with indoor pool) and the South Kingstown Rec Center a few minutes away so we had great access to indoor exercise facilities when the weather didn’t cooperate. There are also a large number of walking trails in the area and an awesome bike trail that runs from the Kingston train station all the way down through Peace Dale and Wakefield to the beaches at Narragansett. The property manager is VERY responsive and we look forward to renting this property again in the future.
