Excellent spot for a family and friends get together as it had just the right blend of together space and private space. Beautiful well appointed lodge with spacious rooms
The only down side was that the water pumps did not work when there was loadshedding and seeing as this is happening frequently I feel the lodge owners should be making a plan to sort this out.

It was an amazing experience. Enjoying the wildlife in an incredible location thanks to the professionalism and the invaluable support of our ranger Andrew and the manager Theresa. Highly recommended
Nothing negative. Only I have the recomendation to visit Black Rhino reserve and Pilannesberg national Park.

The property was stunning with everything needed. The main house, pool and fire pit was really lovely. The staff were very friendly and Andrew was very knowledgeable and also friendly.
loadshedding which is a nightmare for all of us.

We visited as a family of 9 and had an incredible time despite Stage 6 loadshedding. Theresa, Andrew, and the lodge staff were fantastic, and the game drives were both beautiful and wonderfully informative. The close encounters with an elephant herd and cheetahs made for stunning experience and photos. We loved lounging around the pool, watching the stars from the boma pit (fire thankfully pre-lit by Andrew), and braaiing. The rooms (especially the beds) were SO comfortable (and yay, airconditioned) and the showers were spectacular. There really was every little pot/kitchen utensil and facility you could need for a self-catered vacation, including a walk-in freezer, massive ice-maker, and large fridge and freezer. All-in-all, it was a trip where great memories were made, and the fact that we kept two teens (mostly) off their Insta feeds and engaged in the family time was superb. Big thanks to George the Scorpion for not stinging us, and especially to Andrew who absolutely shone in his communication with the 5-year-old in our group. She loved him and thought he was really fun! Thanks so much Kgorogoro. We will be back!
The lodge has gone to great lengths to make the place more user-friendly during loadshedding but Stage 6 obviously poses some extra challenges when you're in the bush and have to pump water uphill. Not the lodge's fault at all, but just be aware that there will be some fridge and toilet etc downtime if the loadshedding hits. It didn't worry us at all though and we still had a fabulous time. Just also watch your step around the pool as some of the slats are loose and jut out a little so they're easy to trip on.
