We had the best time! The porch is perfect for games and hanging out.

The space was perfection for our family. The game room was seldom vacated and the hot tub was frequently used. We found the kitchen to be adequately supplied. May I suggest a couple improved skillets --no longer non stick. Highly recommended!!

First of all, this home is in a run-down ghetto part of the city.Worst of all, it is located right on a very busy street so vehicle noise is constant. Also, this home is probably 100 years old with several original features including windows and doors. These provide little sound deadening for the noisy neighborhood. We found the overall house to be dirty. All soft surfaces such as the couches, comforters & dining room chairs are visibly stained. The back deck is in rough condition with a lot of uneven surfaces and splintering wood. There is a "security " gate that is a pain to operate and never completely closes, so it provides little to no security. We watched the mowing crew push a lawn mower through the "closed" gate. Several light fixtures in the home are dirty with blown bulbs. We enjoyed our visits to the aquarium, the Incline, and Ruby falls. The area has a lot to offer, but I wouldn't stay at this property again even if it was free.Out of the 6 nights we paid, we only stayed 3 nights. The loud traffic, loud car stereos, and general noise drove us to forfeit our prepaid stay and find somewhere nicer to spend the remainder of our vacation. The owner offered no apologies for the condition of the home. When I brought the maintenance and cleanliness issues to their attention,I was surprised when they stated they stay often themselves.Of the 40+ homes I have rented in my adult life, this one is by far the worst.Owner does not recognize that the home is not up to VRBO standards.

PROS - close to downtown, plenty of cook wear, upstairs stayed temp comfortable with box fan at vent. loved the fenced in yard with gate. Plenty of paper products. CONS- propane tanks were empty for grill, and fire pit tables ( got those on day 3). Microwave was dirty, uncomfortable furniture in living room. Picture showed 4 or 5 tanning loungers-there was ONLY one there. Lawn care was poor.Gate doesn't close completely -we tied it with a rope. Were told there would be bath soap etc -a very small bar down stairs -none upstairs. No conditioner.

We took our young adult sons and their girlfriends here for a post-grad/birthday celebration, and everyone had a wonderful time. The house is great, especially the kitchen and deck with games, swim spa, fire pit and super comfy seating. Lots to do, and conveniently close to the highway—a quick drive to downtown Chattanooga. Would definitely return to this property in the future.

Great house, nice ammenities and outdoor space. A reasonably short drive to downtown and other attractions. Not in the greatest location, but had zero issues and was very private.
