Our fully renovated home is directly in front of Shorts Sand Beach in York Beach, Maine.
Its location cannot be beaten. Literally 50ft from the beach!
This house has a vast opened area for the kitchen (with its island), the dining room and the living room. There are more windows than walls to appreciate the superb views on the beach and the ocean. Outside, the main terrasse will allow you to enjoy a nice meal cooked on the grill with friends and family. The house can sleep up to 16 people with its 6+1 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It has a washer and dryer, dish washer...
The house is fully furnished and equipped.
The master bedroom has its own private balcony with a superb view, perfect for the morning coffee or the late afternoon cocktail.
The garage has been converted into a 4-season play room with a ping pong and foosball tables, a bar area, mini-fridge and lounge area.
Located within 5 minutes of all restaurants, fun-o-rama, boutiques, ice cream shop, mini-golf, zoo, etc. It is the perfect beach house to have a great time all year-round!

This beach home does not disappoint. It was our 3rd year in a row renting this property for our 2 week family vacation. It is truly home away from home. Cannot beat the oceanside location. We had ages 1 yr to 89 with us and it works for all!

The pics matched the house and the location was great for easy walks to the beach as well as good time with family and friends. When we needed to get in touch with the owners about house needs, they were communicative and prompt and sent help right away. Would recommend this location for your vacay!

We loved our time spent at this beachfront gem! The location can’t be beat… a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great for our teenagers who were always on the move and who took full advantage of the game room, and for my older parents who loved sitting on the deck with their morning coffee enjoying the view. The house was clean and well-appointed… we made good use of the beach chairs, beach towels and lobster pots. Would definitely come back!!

I’ve been visiting York for the past fifteen years, and have stayed in a number of rentals. I don’t think I’ll ever find a better location than this house. The proximity to short sands and downtown is ideal, especially for those with kids. The owners were delightful and responsive. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay!

My spouse and 7 adult family members comfortably stayed in this house without feeling on top of each other. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shops, restaurants in York but also incredible views right from the deck. We could not have picked a better house for our family.

Our family of 9 adults enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in York. The house perfectly accommodated all of us. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything we needed was easily assessable. The location is perfect - right on the beach! And restaurants and shopping are minutes away. This was a beautiful, tidy, spacious beach house with amazing views of Short Sands beach. We loved the house and it was perfect for our extended family. The little kids (5&6) loved the toys and the adults loved the puzzles. The Kitchen had many amenities and was a pleasure to cook in. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and we'd love to come back some day.

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO! The house is not only beautifully renovated and spacious, offering the perfect blend of communal areas and private retreats, but it's also located just across from Short Sands Beach, providing breathtaking ocean views from nearly every window. The responsiveness of the hosts added to our seamless experience. The game room in the garage was a delightful bonus that everyone enjoyed. This home is an ideal choice for a family reunion, especially in the off-season. Highly recommend for a memorable family getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, which is basically right on Short Sands Beach. We had everything we needed, and the house was clean and cozy. We had plenty of space, and everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom. We loved being directly across from the water, and you can see the ocean from most rooms in the house, which was amazing. Our kids also loved the game room! We hope to return to enjoy some sunshine in the summer months! Thank you!

We’ve stayed as a family at a number of VRBO properties and this one ranks at the top for sure. There was so much room to spread out, the home is well-maintained and the location is perfect right at the beach. The game room was a lot of fun and a nice perk! The owners were super responsive to questions and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The house is appointed beautifully! Very inviting, comfortable, clean and the location cannot be surpassed! The small amenities for quests was a lovely surprise. Enjoyed the house and the game room. We stayed this week with our 4 kids and dog and it’s a terrific house in a great location. Plenty of bedrooms, nice open living space, and the game room is terrific for when there’s some down time etc. It was also so nice to be able to bring our dog. We’ve been visiting the area and renting houses forever and this is a top pick for sure!

This property was beyond perfect for our family stay in York! The floor layout allowed everyone (10 people) to have plenty of space! The view of the ocean was incredible, and we enjoyed being just steps away from it! We kept busy playing in the ocean, relaxing on the deck, playing ping pong, walking to Fun O Rama and bowling! So many amazing memories made...left with Happy Hearts! Hoping to return next year for a second stay!

We are a multi-generation family that gathered from Ohio and New York to stay in this fantastic (site unseen) home. We found the setting perfect for children, dogs and the adults who love them. The house is awesome --immaculate and uncluttered enabling us to kick back without worrying about fussy furnishings and knick-knacks. Our group size necessitated lots of cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Every need is anticipated. There is even a crock pot! We appreciated the lovely owners. They were laid back yet quick to respond to questions and needs. Thanks much. We'll definitely return to this awesome home.

A beautiful home in the perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! Steve has thought of everything - all linens, towels, well stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach toys and even a wagon filled with beach chairs. A true gem!

This is the second year my family has rented this property and we have enjoyed both our stays very much! The new renovations are beautiful and there’s lots of space for all. Although we were sad to see the enclosed wrap-around porch removed, we enjoyed sitting outside on the new deck and loved the open-concept layout of the downstairs. The ocean views from the house are gorgeous and the sounds of the waves are so relaxing! The location is ideal for beach outings at Short Sands and is only a few minute walk from downtown. The owners, Steve and Desni, are flexible and responsive. Both stays, they kindly extended our check-out by an hour, as we have an elderly family member (92 yrs old) who requires a bit more time to get up and ready. They communicate all instructions clearly and respond to all inquiries quickly. We look forward to renting this property again!

Beautifully decorated and spacious home with great access to the beach and downtown. Stunning water views. Our family of six adults were very happy vacationing in this newly remodeled home. Tons of space to spread out and two decks with stunning views. Bonus: we were able to bring our dog!

The clean house accommodated our family of nine plus one friend and my daughter's small dog. We weren't bumping into each other. Everyone loved the enclosed heated porch!! Such a great house, location and host! The house was clean, completely stocked (even 2 coffee pots) and had a nice floor plan. The front porch area is where we spent most of our time, but the game room was awesome too. Being so close to the beach meant never needing the car at all. We walked to morning coffee, shopping and dinner. Can’t wait to see the renovations next year. Thank you, Steve!

This property and Steve are beyond compare! Everything you can hope for in a vacation rental- super clean, very responsive to questions, and attentive to all needs. The view and the convenience of this location are exceptional. Was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation- loved by everyone from my 5 year old to my 86 year old father in law. Cannot wait to return year after year! This will be our new home away from home for as long as we can make it happen.

The location of Steve's house is ideal, since you can access the beach right across the street and walk to a wonderful playground and town so easily. The kitchen is a bit awkward for many people to cook in, but the wrap around porch is wonderful for eating, and relaxing. The layout of the house doesn't provide much of a sitting area for bad weather for the number of bedrooms, but we had great weather so it wasn't a problem. The house manual needs to be updated for wifi access and clearer instructions about garage game room etc. but we were there at a transition time and after the first night of confusion, all was well handled. I'm assuming that other guests won't have any of these issues.
