About this house rental

The Chateau Clark was built in 1900. Though she has had significant changes through a complete remodel, she still has plenty of old-time charm along with robust and beautiful modern upgrades. We have had plenty done by the Amish including the custom-built Hickory bedroom sets, 12-person dining room set, doors, Staircase, and hickory trim throughout. This has been our second home/ ski chalet for many years and is looking forward to others enjoying her more moving forward. There is plenty of room, offering 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. You won't be short on a gathering space. The kitchen, Dining room, and Living room all flow together very nicely. There is plenty of dining space for a fabulous meal and to later entertain. The living room has (2) couch sets. One wrap couch ( with built-in sleeper sofa ) is closer to the gas stove, while the other regular set with a full couch and love seat is situated closer to the main TV and Dining area.

We pride ourselves on making sure that all of the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. Everyone loves the right tools to get a great night's sleep. We always make sure there are adequate amounts of plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and cooking apparatus for the size group that we allow to sleep in our properties. In case there is a power outage this property is equipped with a whole house generator assuring you we are making every effort you will never be without electricity.

The location is superb, being 1/2 mile to the main light downtown and 3/4 mile to Holiday Valley.

The back door entrance area offers plenty of space to store your skis and snowboards in the winter, along with coolers, and added belongings. In warmer weather, it can be used to store Golf Clubs, Tennis Rackets, or whatever else needs to be stored indoors. Once you walk in, to the far left are a few stairs to walk up and enter the house. The closer door takes you into the basement which is partially finished with a bit of a game room including Ping Pong, Air Hockey, and Foosball, as well as one of the full bathrooms. The Washer and Dryer are also in the basement.

Perfect location for our multi-family group of parents and 13 year old ski racers. Short walk (10min) to town and 5 min drive to Holimont made for an enjoyable long weekend in EVL. House was clean and had everything we needed. Owner/host provided all information about the house in advance, and made the process seamless. We will be back!

Chateau Clark was the perfect location and space for our family trip. We had 11 adults and 1 baby and there was plenty of room for everyone as well as room for fun! The location is perfectly spaced between town and Holliday valley. Would highly recommend!

This was the perfect house for our stay. We have been going to Ellicottville for 12 years and outgrew Alpine village town houses. Found this 5 bedroom house with a yard and firepit for the family. Lots of room for husband and myself, 3 sons with their wives and 4 grandchildren ages 1 to 4. Right in the middle of Holiday Valley for the skiing and Main street to walk the shops and breweries. Would definitely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Chateaux Clark! Our family enjoyed sitting and laughing around the firepit. It's a perfect size for a large family gathering with plenty of room to spread out. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond to any questions that we had. We will be back!!

My sister turned 60 and we wanted a nice place to hang out and have fun and we picked this place. It was perfect! The home is large and very accommodating! The game room was so much fun and the outside area had everything we needed! The hosts thought of everything inside and out! Our whole family highly recommends this house and the hosts!

Overall a 4/5, but this would have made it a 5: 1. If we could have paid xtra to bring our chihuahua 2. If the pull out couch had been supplied with sheets 3. If the basement rec room was larger, shielded from the furnace and laundry equipment, and provided with a couch and flat screen TV

Perfect house for long skiing weekend at Holiday Valley. House was perfect for our gathering of 12….bunk bed room for kids was perfect. Living room was spacious and had both tvs on for Super Bowl. Entry mud room was awesome for all of the gear (coats, boots, snow pants, helmets) Kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Location was perfect for a quick drop off and pick up of skiers. Had a great time!

The house is located close enough to the Holiday Valley resort to make it easy a quick to get to the ski hill. The beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of room for all to sit an eat at the table. And there are ample comfortable chairs and couches to enjoy a pleasant evening after skiing. The kiddos really enjoyed the games in the rec room.

The accommodations were more than what we expected. The house had beautiful furniture and everything that you might need while there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were well stocked with towels and all the necessary supplies. Would consider staying there again.

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was awesome. It was the perfect distance between town and holiday valley. The fire pit was great and the house fit us all really well. Communication with the manager was amazing and we all had a blast!

Came to Ellicottville for a few days to ski. The house was perfect and in a great location. Clean, well equipped, & plenty of space. The game room in the basement was fun, especially for our 3 young boys. Loved the back room for all of our ski gear. Daryl and Gina were amazing hosts. Very responsive and also very friendly. We hope to stay again!

My family and a family of friends from Canada stayed in the house (8 total) for a long weekend of skiing at Holiday Valley. Place was perfect. Clean. Great location. Plenty of room for everyone. Had great communication with the homeowners during the stay. Highly recommended if you need s place for s large family to stay for a ski trip in the area.
