About this house rental
Luxury Grade 2 listed 17th Century barn conversion in the heart of the Cotswolds, offering a very high standard of living with exposed beams, wood burners and an Aga. Open plan kitchen diner lounge with an Island that is perfect for entertaining.
Stunning master bedroom with ensuite to the ground floor. 3 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite and a master bath to the 1st floor. 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Perfect space for friends & family get togethers (but NOT a party venue) in the heart of a beautiful village with 2 great pubs and more within a short distance. Offered for a few weeks per year.

Over 6000 sq ft of living space set in landscaped gardens to the front and rear.
Open Plan kitchen/dining/Living area-
Fully equipped Kitchen with Island, AGA, 2 dishwashers, American Fridge Freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine.
Utility cloak room with washing machine and dryer, boot room and toilet
Dining table for 10 leading to living area with wood burner, huge corner sofa and 75 inch TV. Sky TV, Netflix and Sonos music system throughout.
Snug – a separate lounge area with wood burner and TV.
Hallway with Pool table and 100CD Juke Box.
Hall way with an additional wash room.
Downstairs Master Bedroom with Super King size bed leading to ensuite with double walk in shower and bathtub
Stairs to first floor –
Master bathroom with walk in shower and Bath tub
One Guest room with double bed and ensuite shower room.
One double room.
One guest room with Super king size bed and ensuite with walk in shower. This room has stairs leading to a mezzanine style bedroom which has one double bed. Perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children or for children to share. We can accommodate an extra child in this room on a pullout mattress.

We have a travel cot available and it will fit easily into all rooms
All towels and bedding provided.

The picturesque village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We are perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds with Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold Wild Life Parkand the historic towns of Burford, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Bibury nearby.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by historical sites and beautiful countryside through which our guests can walk or cycle.
The village is on the Oxfordshire Way footpath and boasts over 100 miles of trails through picturesque villages and ancient woodland.
If all that sounds like hard work, wander down to one of 3 local pubs all within a 5 minute walk or cozy up next to the log burner.
Guest access
Guests can access the entire house and gardens. There is ample parking for 4 vehicles at the front of the house.
There is an annex/holiday let built at the entrance to the house which can be booked separately to accommodate a further 2 guests if it is available.
This is a completely separate building with its own entrance and if there are other guests staying there during your stay, it will have no affect on your privacy of in the main house.

Beautiful and well appointed historic stay in a fabulous home in The Cotswolds, beautiful village, nearby to everything. The Barn Conversion is a giant spacious and modern conversion albeit keeping to its historic roots and Grade 2 listed qualities. 5 Star Plus! Perfect!

Wow an Incredible house/home with great attention to detail
As we arrived at the house our first thoughts were WOW!! Our amazing first impression continued as we explored the house and gardens .
Such a wonderful home in a beautiful village with lots of lovely pubs and walks on your doorstep. We had the most amazing week and can’t think of a single negative thing to say. The attention to detail and the hosts hospitality were 100% . Can’t recommend highly enough . THANK YOU for allowing us a magical stay in your luxurious home

Home away from home
Check in was super easy, the house was as pictured. Well equipped and very comfortable for our week ahead.
Location was great; there's a golf course about 10 mins away, quaint towns / areas with great pubs nearby and Soho Farmhouse is only a 30 min drive!
Communication with Chris was great; very accommodating and a friendly host.
