My wife and another couple enjoyed another fantastic experience in Konkapot cottage. Our host, Liz does everything to make the stay memorable. We can’t wait to return.

A beautiful property - the grounds and the house. Warm and welcoming. The house felt like a home not a rental property. It is well cared for, comfortable, with everything you need. We loved staying there!
Liz is an attentive host, always responsive to my questions by text. Though we never met her, her care and thoughtfulness were present.
The moment I stepped into the house I knew our family would be happy there.

Home, not a rental property. It’s stocked with everything and the furnishing and details are tasteful and inviting. The property is stunning and Liz was responsive and attentive. This was one of our favorite homes to stay in.

This house is well appointed for guests. There is a river running along the back of the property with a cute beach set up. We ran and took walks daily. It was a very relaxing stay.

This is, by far, the best VRBO I’ve had consistently. This was our 3rd stay. The house is comfortable and well appointed with a well equipped kitchen. The property itself is a show stopper. Sweeping meadows, a riverside beach and beautiful trails for walking. The hostess is fantastic with excellent communication and kindness. We will definitely be back!

Liz has thought of everything! After getting in late, we so appreciated having coffee, tea, milk, butter, juice, English muffins, and jam waiting and ready for us in the morning. We were excited to hear coyotes partying in the field by the river that night and set out the next day to explore the paths where they were. The kitchen is truly fully stocked with equipment for those who like to cook, and although I didn’t wind up cooking a lot because the nearby restaurants are fabulous, I could have easily cooked up a storm. The beds are super comfy, and the soaking tub was a treat to decompress in after my son’s weekend wedding. Highly recommended!

The house and grounds are beautiful and in top notch condition. Located on a quiet road in the Berkshires it is conveniently located with easy access to the Berkshires and Litchfield towns. The architect modernized farm house has everything needed for an excellent get away. We will surely return.

We needed an accessible vacation home and we found it here. Beautifully appointed, generally convenient to use, quiet and with a host who was most helpful and kind.
For those who come to the western Berkshires in the summer months to take advantage of the outstanding arts and culture scene, this location requires extra driving time although driving through scenic farmland is always delightful.

Luxury Relaxation
This was our 2nd visit to this home. It is, by far, the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed. The home is luxurious and comfortable. The property is fantastic with beautiful walking trails and a riverside beach. Our almost 3yo granddaughter was comfortable and happy picking wild flowers in the fields, tossing stones in the river and watching a myriad of turkey, birds, and deer. We even saw a bear a couple of times. The host is amazing! We plan to return in the Fall.

Simply Amazing
The silence of nature is often overlooked. This house and settings are bucolic. I seriously could not have asked for more. Our host was amazing, there to help if anything is needed. A truly Wonderful experience.

Don't Pass Up
If you are planning a trip to Western Massachusetts and are looking for the perfect place, don't pass this one up. The house, the location, and the communication with the property owner was perfect. We spent 5 days in the area and returning to the house to relax and enjoy time with friends and unwind couldn't have been any better. Zero complaints!

Luxury Home/Luxury Setting
This, in all honesty, was the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. The home is lovely, extremely well equipped and if you happen to cook, it's the place for you! Everything is well thought out. The setting is spectacular! Open fields with trails, a river side beach and, of course, close to a lot of hiking and shopping in Great Barrington. The host is just terrific, great communication! Thank you so much!

Beautiful cottage to enjoy nature and the foliage
The cottage is well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Liz was an amazing host, even providing us with local items for breakfast, and was extremely responsive and quick to help resolve an issue at the house with the fire alarms. While there is no cell service, the wifi is strong for those working remotely. We enjoyed the huge backyard, complete with a fire pit and plenty of firewood (there was also fire starter to get us going!), as well as the short walk to a private river and "beach" area. Overall excellent stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Berkshires!

Pastoral Bliss
The hosts made us feel welcome from the start through easy and efficient communication. The house and property exceeded our expectations in every way. This is by far the best VRBO rental we ever had. The house comes with everything. Elevated kitchen and baths features, superb sleeping and seating comfort inside and outside. Screened and open porches with dining seating, a private river beach with fire pit and seating, air conditioning or open windows, depending on temperatures. Even the wifi was workable for three digitally active family members (broadband expansion is coming to the area soon). The valley view alone with sightings of wild turkeys, deer and herons was worth it. We went on three major hikes and loved each one. We would be thrilled to return! Thanks to Liz and Don for a marvelously relaxing week.

Comfortable home in beautiful setting
I very much enjoyed my stay at this newly renovated home. Appointed with all amenities one could need, best of all was the outdoor splendor of the Berkshires accessible from the back yard. Also having a one-car garage was very convenient. Liz is super responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my vacation.

Lovely and tranquil
We had a wonderful week at Konkapot Cottage. The cottage is well designed and very comfortable. Kitchen perfectly appointed with excellent appliances and all the essentials you would hope for plus many extras. . Lovely new bathrooms. We loved sitting/working at the dining room table or out on the deck, looking out at the meadow. Our walks on the quiet roads nearby were a highlight—wooded, farmland, rivers and brooks. Liz was lovely, extremely responsive and friendly. Truly a pleasure.
