Fantastic

Place was very clean and comfortable

Bit hot at night without air-conditioning (and this was mid-September, no summer).

Nice place to stay for an extended visit to Escalante

Kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven available for use to prepare meals. Dishes, silverware, glasses, and cooking vessels were also available for use. Dishwasher and soap provided to clean soiled dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans. Great place to stay for an extended stay in Escalante.

easy location

The wifi did not work and there were a lot of outside stairs to climb with heavy bags. We were asked to not park on the side street which would have made it easier to carry bags.

The house is perfect for a family!. We loved it!

The location was excellent, the house was clean and the kitchen has all that my family need.

Comfortable and well supplied. Escalante was a good base to travel from.

the biggest issue was that there were 4 of us, traveling w/friends, and the dinning room table only had seating for 2. So we had to eat in the living room off side tables or our laps.

Quality stay! Good value for a house with two bedrooms!

Location on the Main Street, but was very quiet and private. Very well-equipped for a house next to the hotel…felt more like a BNB property. Very clean. Excellent bathrooms and beds.

Superb

The kitchen was almost like home with sufficient utensils for simple meals and it was definitely large enough to use for a 4-7 night stay. The location made me nervous initially because it's on the main street/highway, but that's not a problem. Even on Friday and Saturday nights it is incredibly quiet. It's also very conveniently almost directly across the street from a very adequate grocery store for any needed food supplies

To enjoy a longer stay, it'd be good to have access to a laundry facility, but didn't ask. Perhaps there is coin-op on-site or nearby

Great place to stay while exploring in the Escalante area!

The location was great, right in the center of town on Main Street. The house was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Our host was very accommodating. Thank you!

Perfect place for exploring the Escalante area in Utah

This was the perfect location for exploring the Escalante area where we did many day hikes. After a day of adventure it was great to be able to come "home" and relax. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Even though it was only the two of us we loved the "his" and hers" bathrooms with a shower. The place was spotless. Be sure to check out Mimi's Bakery & Deli and the Escalante Mercantile for delicious baked goods, sandwiches and healthy food. Georgie's Outdoor Mexican Cafe has excellent takeout. Thank you, Elaine, for sharing your Prairie Star with us and your warm hospitality !

Nice stay and would like to recommend it to others.

We cooked our own meals.The location is the best. The house is small. But it is enough for four of us. Host is very responsive and nice. We had good time of stay.

It will be better if there is a laundry room.
