Perfect location, clean and cosy. There were lockers in the room, and curtains for privacy. The kitchen had great facilities and was well organised.

Sehr tolle und liebevolle Gestaltung des Hostels!!! Der Gastgeber hat alles selbst umgebaut :) Insbesondere die Dachterrasse mit Küche ist toll!

Loved the terrace and the kitchen facilities which were located up there, and also how well organised the fridges and cupboard spaces were.
The 50+ steps needed to get up there😁

I lOVED eeeverything about it. It just felt like a second home. The rooftop is EXCELLENT and free for you to go there, the kitchen there is better than my own will ever be, you also get your own space in the fridge and the shelves.
Christian the owner is sooo supportive, funny, nice and friendly; he remembered my name from the first day (I stayed a week) and always greeted me with „hola, Samira!“
I liked the other hostel guests as well, somehow all of them bring a great vibe, and with some we build a group and went out having a good time in town and also went to the beach with each other etc. But you can also stay completely on your own, if you like that. There is space for everyone.
The hostel has indeed a „charming“ atmosphere; is relaxed and easy and kinda „hippie“, but still very well cleaned, well equipped and beds are good as well. It also has a veeeery elegant style.
Bathrooms are gorgeous btw. And free soap there, which saved me on my first night haha. You can also rent towels and all, which saved me as well.
I spent six nights in a 10-bed-room and it was a great experience! And Christian even helped me when someone else was snoring too loud - we found a good solution hahaha
So you will love your stay there, I highly recommend it ❤️❤️❤️

Exceptionally clean!! Had great facilities, everything was incredibly well thought out. Was in a great location, just a short walk to both the centre of town and numerous beaches. The man that runs it is lovely and very helpful.

The location, the staff and Value for money. The facilities were also great
It was very noisy at night

Each bed has little details (power outlet, curtain, etc) that make staying in a dorm room actually very comfortable. wonderful kitchen to make cooking easy, and a terrace for hanging out. The owner is a great person.

Very frindly staff and great rooftop. The room was very clean. It is really close to the main street. It was also quite cheap in comparison to other rooms.
The kitchen was located in the next building on 2nd floor, had to go out of building to get there. It was also very noisy in the room at night as if the door and windows were very thin.

Christian the owner is such a lovely guy and runs a very tight ship. He is right on top of everything and is the perfect host. The position couldn't be better, right I'm the middle of everything and under five minutes to the beach. Beautiful rooftop for watching the world go by and seeing the mountains and ocean.
Though Christian is perfect in running his hostel, he can't always be everywhere and he works very hard with long hours. Digital nomads and long stay guests should be aware that they are not the princesses of the room and have a little consideration and respect for other guests as they themselves expect. Banging away on a keyboard with their lights on until early hours, yelling down a phone in a small room and refusing to compromise AT all insofar as fresh air is not acceptable. It's called "sharing" but nobody wanted to do any of that. Those of us who are out and about in the day and not sitting behind curtains on a bed all day, deserve an hour or so of air in the dorm to cool down. Again, it's called compromise. But Christian is not a headmaster and we are not children but these things clearly can never be resolved. Would definitely stay again, but under different circumstances.

The guy running the place is a legend. Hes alway attentive and informative.
The beds and roof top were really comfortable, place was very clean, wifi was decent.
Closes the roof top for an hour everyday to clean, I dont think this is nessasery but to be fair yoy can just go out as the location is great.

Beautiful rooftop terrace with great vibes. The female quarters are great and has good space. The place is very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Would definitely come back.
Reception has siesta and is not available for a few hours during the day.

Eventhough I stayed in many different hostels in between my favourite hostel since 3 years!
Some new, pragmatical details in the hostel:
Own case for every guest in the food shelf in kitchen
Already labelled bag for putting fridge food inside
Curtains on bed
Position: so close to the beach and everything important in Nerja
Familiar, cozy atmosphere, especially on the rooftop terrace
Sociable guests
The price is high for sleeping in a dorm in my opinion

nice old building, colourful, kitchen was on the rooftop which was a lovely hangout area, the keys were colour coded which was great, curtain and reading light was amazing
it was partially disconnected so if you were in 2 of the rooms it was a weird longer way you had to go up to the room, too expensive though for what it was

I liked the beds! They have curtains for more privacy! In general there is a relaxed atmosphere, a nice rooftop and I met chilled other travelers!
There were quite some rules in the hostal, the kitchen closes one hour in the afternoon and at 10 pm in the night which seems too early.
3.5 / 5.0
The owner is very friendly and the beds are a good size and have privacy curtains. My room (Moro) was very large and had racks to hang wet towels and bathing suits which was super handy. The location is also really good. The rooftop is really nice and has a lovely view.
The kitchen is very bad. The fridge is very small, and they don't let you access the kitchen or rooftop from 11pm - 9am. There is only enough utensils for one person to cook at any time (one kitchen knife, one cutting board, one frying pan, you get the idea). They don't even have bowls, which would be a very easy thing for them to stock the kitchen with.
