Lovely little home in small village, cosy warm . Beds comfortable
4.5
The cottage is very charming and situated in a quiet little village. It's also extremely close to any attractions you might be interested in, e.g. Snowdon, Glyder Fawr & Fach, Penrhyn Quarry, etc. It's just a perfect getaway from a busy town. It's extremely cozy - especially if you light the fireplace and enjoy a cuppa :)
It's not very well equipped unlike other places we went to- here, you get 3 teabags and 5 instant coffees with 5 packets of sugar. The rest, you have to get yourself - oil, salt, pepper or any extra coffee, tea or sugar. I just think it might not be enough, especially if visitors come down there to explore the area and come back to cook after a long hike. Additionally, i think it would be great if the owners provided an arrival set for the guests- just a simple welcome pack to make the guests feel welcome as little extra :)

It was a lovely cottage,
The locals were very friendly and it was the perfect location to enable us to visit 3 Zip World locations easily.
The house needed a good clean. The floor still had dog hairs on & was sticky where it needed washing. The skirting boards quite dirty & dusty.
It should have had a hair dryer but we couldn't find one.

Rooms are comfortable
The kitchen suited our needs
Toilet and bathroom downstairs which was difficult at at night time. Perhaps a little note will be help to elderly people or people with disabilities
Car parking space could be made easier with improved space on entry side wall to the space

Beds were really comfy. Milk supplied on arrival. Kitchen really equipped with everything needed.
Only one log supplied for the fire for the whole of the stay. Told we couldn't have any more. Cobwebs were in all the corners and there were crumbs and dirt under the dining room table. Also the garden not being accessible for the dog was a big drawback.

It was self catering. The village has a shop and even had gluten free cake. Friendly people in the village. I felt at home straight away. Very clean. Check in was really easy and I loved just having a door code to let ourselves in.
I was unaware where to put recycling.

Great location and lovely cottage
Lack of black out blinds. We had to put towels over the windows.

Great size for a holiday let and not to far from the main town. Great location to base from and explore snowdonia. We had a fab week away
Toilet seat needs fixing and bed was a little hard

The cottage was very well equipped, clean, cosy and tastefully decorated with very warm bathrom. The village was pretty with great food at the local pub.Located close to local walks, also close (by car) to many family attractions, big walks and Snowdon!
The master bed was uncomfortable, rather hard mattress, a little table at the back of the cottage would be a bonus
3.5
The cottage kitchen is very well equipped. Everything you need in the cottage is there for a pleasant stay. Its decorated nicely throughout.
You have your own parking space afew yards down road. The location is out in the sticks but easy to get to visit places.
The WiFi is brilliant.
A few things that let the cottage down.
1. The cleanness was ok, but there a rubbish left behind the tv, mouldy potatoes left in cupboard, old cereals left on dinning chairs, a bit of food left inside oven glove. 2.There is no back garden only a open bit of grass that anyone could use, so we kept the back door locked.
3. The bed was abit hard.

We loved the fact we were in the middle of nowhere but could easily get to everywhere.
Loved the wood burner and the main bedroom was just lovely!
Sofas were not comfy but a minor thing and there wasn’t a welcome book so we didn’t realise where the parking space was until day 2 and someone told us!

Excellent location. Great location with off road parking for 2 cars. Interior was outstanding with great facility's especially the log burner after a long day on the mountains. Will definitely be back.
