The house is fantastic and the view is amazing. It is a perfect place for familes and friends on holiday. We will definitely come back.
Some bulbs are dead and the stove top did not work well.

Location, view was spectacular, clean, easy to find, all appliances worked, comfortable, spacious. We were there in Dec and the heating was perfect, did I mention what a spectacular view the house has.
The double doors in the downstairs bedroom with the queen bed (not the bunkbeds) did not close properly. Did not close at all so you can not lock the doors and with the high winds it creates a strong cold draft and is very noisy.
And speaking about noise, the upstairs bedroom while amazing, in windy stormy weather, which is just about always in December, sounds like the roof is going to lift off. Very noisy and caused sleepless nights.
It would be wonderful if coat hooks were installed on the wall to the right of the door to the downstairs bunkbed room.
Otherwise great place.

Windsong Cove is spectacular, very homey and extremely comfortable, I would 110% recommend people come to Netarts for the view and the comfort!!
The user sight is not user friendly, the fees charged are hidden and not explain very well?

My spouse and I enjoyed 5 days over the 4th of July weekend together with our 20 year old son, our daughter and her husband. This house is located on a quiet street high up on a hill looking down at the bay and ocean. Views are spectacular. We took the moderate hilly terrain walk on the street from the house to the beach and both markets in town (for fresh oysters and ice cream cones). Most people likely drive and finding parking is not a concern. There is a steep and unmaintained path at the back of the house to the ocean that is posted as no trespassing. We determined that to not include those of us paying to rent : )
Contrary to the posting, there is room for two cars in the driveway. The spacious master bedroom is the upstairs loft area of the house. It has no door at the top of the stairs but is private away from our grown children in the two bedrooms on the main floor. The bed evidently was so comfortable because we both slept through each night without waking up. There are three bathrooms. The house looks nicer in person than the pictures. The wood walls and floors are beautiful.
We brought our food along and only went to the two small local markets for fresh oysters and to replenish the short supply of dishwasher and laundry detergent, trash bags, and coffee filters (no K-cups). Twice we picked up take out from the two restaurants, The Schooner and Upstairs Bar & Grill. Both had very good chowder and fish and chips.
Our kids went crabbing from the jetty rocks and we enjoyed their harvest and also fresh seafood on the gas grill. We used the fire pit every night. The views were amazing from each bedroom, upper deck, living room, and patio.
There did not appear to be a recycling option so we packed out all of our recycling. If there's a way to turn off the backyard lighthouse that would be nice to have that info posted. While Vacasa.com doesn't mention it, booking.com boasts a hot tub. While there is one, it is not for guest use.
Please don't make the mistake we did in using booking.com. Initially found it on Vacasa.com for $1836.99 then immediately saw the same on booking.com for $1368. Not wanting to lose the rental over a holiday weekend, booked it without seeing that fees and taxes not included with booking.com's quote. The total came to $2124.16. I was unsuccessful after many attempts using booking.com's price match guarantee to recover the extra $287.17 paid over four nights. I wish I would have reserved with Vacasa.com.
