Tina and Ben fantastic hosts with local knowledge
2nd floor 42 steps no lift
on Booking stated private bathroom , correct BUT it was down a hallway which u shared with 3 other patrons. thus I couldn’t go to bathroom in the nude ! it was private as the other patrons had there own bathroom . in short NOT IN YOUR BEDROOM !
town was quite basic would not recommend going there ex specially in a Monday

The view from balcony is a dream, in centre
directly. Benjamin is very friendly owner, my train to Caltagirone was late and the bus was not there, so Benjamin was coming to take me from train station , on the way he showed me 2 attractions, so I was happy to see Caltagirone
If you are not with the car there, than it's a very difficult to go from the city, no train and no bus in the morning or afternoon, maybe just to the Catania, bat not to Agrigent, so Benjamin helped me to find a driver, but sure that not how I am traveling usual

Very helpful host - thank you Ben.
We had booked a parking place inside the property...this is well worth doing at 8 Euro per day

Tina is an excellent host, he booked a nice restaurant for us and it wasn’t expensive.
It’s located in the fourth flor of an old place without lift so be ready to jump the stairs.
The room was vey big and with high ceilings so not easy to heat.
The breakfast was only a coffee and a pastry served in a bar so I wouldn’t say that’s excellent

Fantastic location, and a very accommodating innkeeper. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting us oriented to Caltagirone. Our room looked right out onto the piazza, which was excellent.
The only reason I did not rate this property higher is the bathroom (which was for our use only) is down the hall.
Be forewarned on the "free parking" claim....there is no parking associated with the property....you're on your own to hunt down a free space. Fortunately the innkeeper can provide good direction on where to look.

Ben was such a lovely host! He showed us around the property, told us a bit about the history of the building, provided us with some tips on places to visit in the city and places to eat, and he was contagiously enthusiastic. :) The view from the balcony was more than we could have hoped for, and the room itself was newly renovated, very nice and comfortable.
Ben also offered us a parking spot in the building for a small fee, which we gladly accepted, because the parking places nearby were all pretty packed.
The ceramics workshop in the building was lovely, too, and worth visiting. The location of the accommodation is really just perfect and the price is more than friendly.

The location is amazing, it's at the very center of the old town, offers beautiful views and atmosphere. The manager did his best to welcome us, give a tour of the property, tell more about the city and in general. This place is a good value for money deal.
The only complaint we had was that the place is located in a central squere that can be noisey at all times, the church bell started to ring early in the morning and this made our rest bit more difficult.

I loved the town, the location of the apartment, the coffee in the morning. Also the host recommended us a good restaurant, and she kept a good parking place for us.
I did not like that the bathroom was outside the room. It was not clear from the description on booking. Also I did bot like that there were people that watched tv on the common room untill late, 1, 2 am o clock. The room had a smell, some room deodorant that smelled very very intense and unnatural.

Great place to stay, comfortable and clean, very friendly staff giving a lot of information and help
Noise from the square at night, it would have been great if the balcony door was soundproof

Location is everything and the view from the Juliette Balcony was stupendous. Right in the heart of Caltagirone on the main street. The hostess is very nice and directed us by cell where to park our car for free. She even met us at our car and walked over to the hotel together. I would stay here again.
No Elevator, so get ready to work your calves and thighs. You are the on the very last floor, so it's definitely a hike. I had elderly parents, so probably not the best choice. Also, your bathroom is down the hallway, even though it is private, it's a bit inconvenient. But remember you are in a beautiful and historic building that has been renovated without destroying the features of the building and preserving the ambiance of the past. So a bathroom in your room wouldn't work. I would suggest putting color stickers on each of the doors to match the color keys that are given to you at check in. You get a set of 4 or 5 keys and it gets confusing which key to use on what door, even for the bathroom. Having a color system will make it easier for everyone.

The room is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It is located right in the center of the city and has everything we need. The host was very helpful and had great recommendations about the city. He also helped us with the parking. I recommend coming here!
To get to the private bathroom you need to cross a small hallway. Apart from that everything perfect :)

The room and apartment was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated in a perfect central location, with all amenities in the apartment for cooking if you prefer. The apartment is sotlessly clean and is located in a lovely old palazzo. The view from the balconies was great, overlooking a central piazza. Both Tina and Ben, who speaks English, were super helpful with advice about bus times, in letting me check in early, helping me with advice about the town and even collecting me in their car at 08.00 to take me to the bus station the next day, totally refusing any payment for that. They are lovely people and I recommend the apartment 100%.
Nothing. There are a lot of stairs for those who are infirm, but I'm lazy and it was absolutely fine.

Really nice b&b in the very center of Caltagirone. Room was spacious and totally new designed, from the balcony you overlook the famous monumental steps. Really nice host who picked me up from the station and drove me back there. Definitely to recommend!
