Zulia was absolutely amazing! She made our check-in process much smoother. She even helped save us money on the room and took the initiative to call booking to make sure the reservation was canceled on their end. I would definitely stay at Aloft again when we visit STL.
Everything was great!

Everything we needed but no nonsense.

The facility was beautiful and very accommodating

Great location for SLU student visits. Friendly staff.
Our room faced a major street and was very noisy after 10pm.

Checking in staff was rude. Did not find the payment I made on booking.com and told me I'd have to pay in full ($100 more than the booking.com price) and discuss with management. Discussed with staff next day (management would not come out to see me). Staff assured me management was correcting, I would not be double billed, and final invoice would be emailed to me. Final invoice came, charging the booking.com price + parking. So I was in fact double charged. Called, sent to voice-mail, no call back. Frustrating! Bad service!

The location, layout, facilities.
The seating in the room was lacking.

The staff was great. The hotel is beautiful inside. Quincy the bartender is the best!! We had a great stay. The hotel is in a great location.
The refrigerator was dirty when we got there, but they did come up and clean it right away.
3.9
It was very clean
The swimming pool had too much chlorine but was so strong it burned my eyes just sitting down by it.
Also the shuttle ride is ridiculous. It’s very slow and not convenient at all.
3.9
It’s clean and close to highway.
Parking is awful. We were told to park in the street, it’s free. Well free doesn’t mean safe. We went to park car and the street parking was plentiful. We realized why when we got out of the car, glass everywhere. Cars had just been broken into. The parking garage a 1/4 mile away is safe but not great. A little pricey for what is offered.

nice bar lounge area21+ crowd.
parking was horrible and confusing and very costly

I liked the style/design of the hotel cleanliness, did not try breakfast, Luke’s the bar area
The parking situation was horrible. There was an offsite parking ramp blocks away from the hotel. You had to either walk or call for a ride from the hotel, but they didn’t have staff available to do
That. For a woman or anyone in a city with high crime that was a very inconvenient thing and unsafe

This hotel is very unique and a good environment. Helpful staff. Very modern and updated technology as well.
Everything was great except the parking situation. You can only park on sparse street space or a parking garage that is a five minute walk. They do have a shuttle which is helpful though.

I loved the different style of the hotel and the staff was so friendly. They catered to my every need. it was a great experience!
My only complaint was there were no towels for the full weekend.

Even though they initially didn't put us in rooms close to one another, they changed the rooms for us with no issue. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms didn't smell but the hallway smelled heavily of marijuana. One of the rooms was attended to (beds made, trash emptied) and one wasn't. Another guest had set a bag of trash out in the hallway and it was still there 2 days later.

Parking somewhere else. They hotel drivers drove horrible

This is a newer Aloft, it was nice and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Though it is newer, the king room has been redesigned and is now much smaller than the older style Alofts. Even the bed seemed smaller. It was also set up for one person - one towel, one bottle of water.
The bar was barebones, only Budweiser beers were stocked in bottles (I know, it's St Louis 🙂). The bartender was new, didn't even know what a white Russian was... but he was really nice.
We had a great stay, I would recommend this place.

the atmosphere was nice.
off site parking (which I knew about)

what I liked about the property was that the staff were so courteous and caring. i had a mishap in my room and they got me a different one and gave me complimentary breakfast. i didn’t have to pay for parking like i thought so that was good. maybe because it was the weekend so check first. the maintenance guy was sweet too & very helpful. I got into a car accident while visiting and Kathy & Courtney took such good care of us. I’ll never forget them ❤️ i loved the steamer in the room too! I’ll have to get me one.
what i didn’t like was the lack of employees so it makes it hard for the ones that are there which then makes it harder on the guests. the breakfast menu could be a lot better.. the eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, instant oatmeal, waffle maker, cereal.. the basics are all that are needed. also, a HOT TUB IS NEEDED. expeditiously

the property was amazing. my family and I plan on staying again in the future.
I didn’t like that there wasn’t a more secure parking area.

the property was very close to downtown attractions, yet we had to change rooms due to dirty bathrooms in our room and the new room still the bathroom had not been clean
