The property lounge, dining area and kitchen were fabulous. We spent a lot of time at the table with fabulous daylight crafting. The kitchen was very well stocked.
The location of the property was perfect.
We met the gardeners and they were delightful as was the lady who came to change our bed around.
The property was not as clean as I would have liked and the beds were not made up as requested. However, we called about this and someone arrived within the hour and sorted this for us. The stair rail was very grubby.
There were trip hazards and steep concrete steps outside without rails. Inside lots of little steps and loose thresholds. I would not recommend this property for disabled or elderly unsteady guests at all. The wet room was not accessible with wheelchair (we did not ask for this, so not a problem for us) but was extremely smelly when we arrived and we had to open windows and air before use. The pool room light above the table did not work and therefore we were unable to play in the evening. I appreciate this could have easily been fixed if we called someone, however, when you are on a short break, time is precious and phone calls are not what we wanted to do.
I would not like this information made public, that would not be nice, perhaps just noted for future reference.

There was so much space for 7 adults, 3 kids and 3 dogs. With a games room and hot tub, everyone was kept entertained whilst we shielded from the rain indoors. It was a short 10mins walk to the beach albeit a small steep hill on the way back. We had a wonderful stay in the fully equipped house.
The beds weren't the most comfy. We could feel the springs in most of them. But the pros outweighed the con.

The cottage was beautiful and accommodated our party perfectly. Our two dogs were also very happy there. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed, plus much more. It was a great location for the coast. The games room and hot tub were a bonus. There was a local pub a short walk away, serving very good food, and it was dog friendly.

The quality of fittings and decor, comfort of the beds, quality of bed linens and towels, all appreciated, home from home.
The kitchen exceeded all expectations, including a complete larder of spices, condiments and every pan/cooking device you will ever need!
If you are a keen home cook, everything is included in the kitchen, even decent charcoal for a weber grill outside!
Can highly recommend to all, the welcome package a suprise to open the large modern fridge to see a bottle of bubbly, some butter, litre of milk and enough tea/coffee to tide you over the first day/night, open the bread bin and a pack of bread buns! But the crowning glory was to open the door and see a most glorious home made Victoria Sponge with strawberry jam & butter cream filling, beautifully presented wrapped in cellophane sitting on the large kitchen island as a welcome gift was A-mazing!! Thank you.

location was ok, but the road behind the house was noisy from early morning until late at night
it was well equipped
it was a short, but steep, walk to the dog-friendly beach
the wet room never dried out, even with the door and window open - it needed better ventilation
the bathroom had a stale water smell - it needed better ventilation or drainage
The property was very overlooked, especially the garden
some of the kitchen equipment and crockery was dirty

The whole house was beautiful and comfortable. It was very well equipped with everything and more you would need. It also felt very homely.
The location wasn’t as expected. The house was advertised as beach front accommodation so we were very disappointed on arrival. The garden was also very overlooked.

It was a beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Very clean and eye catching. We all found it very comfortable and cosy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is a beautiful house. It is well equipped for a family holiday. My teenage boys loved the pool table. The house was off a very high standard. James from Fresh Escapes was a life saver

The property was lovely and spacious. We were celebrating my birthday and so our children and their partners joined us. We had a great barbecue, played pool in the games room. Such a lovely place.

Lovely cottage for extended family. Cosy, clean and comfortable with dog bowls, poo bags and treats provided as well as useful kitchen bits (condiments etc). Lockbox for the keys (which always a plus). Driveway parking for our 2 cars. Easy walk down to small local beach.
We had a few unfortunate issues. The shower in main bathroom wasn’t working. The owners knew about this beforehand but were waiting for a spare part. This meant that 4 adults had to use the bath each morning, so it took us a while to get out of the house!
Unfortunately on our first night a loose glass shade fell and smashed into tiny pieces in the conservatory over the pool table and sofa bed. The other light was visibly loose, so we removed the shade for safety.
The shower in the wet room was draining very slowly and it was impossible to use the loo and sink without getting wet socks.
The management company were apologetic about the issues we had and offered us a partial refund.
Once we’d left, we got told off twice for smoking, (by text and on the phone) even though none of our party were smokers. I explained that we had used the log burner, so do be aware if using the fire as the cleaners must have reported back that it was smoky.
