Lovely looking property in a beautiful convenient location

Worse night’s sleep ever…. Bed felt like it was broken & you couldn’t even move a leg without it squeaking loudly!!!!

Swimming pool, clean room and location close to city center of Castellane.

No kitchen, utensils, cups etc., however this was known at the time of booking.

Pleasant

The location is pretty good, and the view is perfect.

We arrived on early Saturday afternoon, but the key box dedicated to us was.... empty. There were no chances to reach host neither by booking.com messaging, neither by phone number provided, nor by text messaging. Luckily after few hours we managed to find some french speeking guests who had some private contacts of the host and they found out, that we had received the message with the information for other guests, not us. We stayed for several days at he place but didn't receive any excuse or just "sorry"...

OK stay in newly built quit development. Jacuzzi a bonus. Housekeeping, amenities problem

We liked that it was modern and recently completed. The quiet area next to the river was "refreshing" Modern LED jacuzzi bath for 2 was an unexpected bonus. This is a treat. Private balcony and swimming pool. Easy parking in front of the building. Close to town centre

It was quite a mission to find the address. we used Google maps, Waze + Tom Tom and still struggled to find the place (2 Hours) NO Wifi. No cutlery or crockery or glasses. We ended up purchasing our own which we "donated" to the room. Keys were left in "key box" outside front gate. Linen were not clean and I could smell someone slept on the same linnen before. Only French TV. Tried decoder box remote but failed to activate it.

Lovely Positioned Property Near Castellane

The position and distance from village the jacuzzi. The newness and cleanliness. The young lady who came to help us access the property on arrival. quiet effective air conditioning

no shade from sun anywhere and no outside lighting on balcony no water in room. only paper cups to drink from no spoons to stir drinks no set up television. no bedside light to read on one side of bed. minimal toiletries- nothing for jacuzzi sheets bobbly and well worn. pillows uncomfortable. swimming pool needs cleaning to be welcoming no one to check when informed host TV not set up feedback given to help hosts improve for others

extremely hard to locate even in daylight, no signage on the premises, very limited supplies. In the room: paper cups no glasses one stool, no chairs inside, very big spa bath but nowhere to sit except bed and outdoor furniture (and it rained much of the time).

What could have been a lovely stay was spoiled by a few minor items due to sloppy management.

Excellent location. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice easy walk into town. Lovely garden and pool

No identification on the property. No instructions sent on how to find it until I had to call the owner when we arrived. No identification on each apartment. No soap / shower gel / remote controller for the air con. No wifi.

Convenient room in a beautiful setting

Very clear self-check in instructions given in advance of check in time. Beautiful setting next to the river and surrounded by mountains. Good to have a kettle and fridge in the room. Perfect for a stopover after visiting the gorges du verdon.

The bedside tables were very small and were just bits of wood screwed into the wall. They were not very secure at all, and with the heavy lamps that were on them felt quite unsafe. It would be good to have a comfortable chair or two in the room - there was only a very high stool.

Quiet, retired, private

This place is amazing for relaxing, the pool is nice and it is right in front of the river. The rooms are spacious and you can chill just outside. The checking is self-service, so a great convenience.

The place was super hard to find, the directions were a bit confusing and the Google Maps location was wrong (I submitted the correct location). Not nice to be pressured to leave when you still have time on the clock.

Superb

Beautiful cool spacious rooms with air conditioning. Clean, well kept pool. Views of the mountains all around. Outside spaces and large table useful for picnics. Coffee and tea making facilities in rooms. Comfortable beds. Washing line. Thanks for providing such a nice place to stay during our cycling trip.

An outside sink or other communal kitchen area would have been useful.

New, clean unit with pool but some quirky features

Interesting property, seems purpose built as a new, income-generating property on the edge of town. So things were quite new. Pool was luxurious, especially after a day of hiking.

It is a decent little walk from town center, 10 min, I wouldn't have minded it being closer. For a new build, kind of strange. The toilet and shower have NO wall separating them from the main sleeping room so people had to leave the bedroom AND open the window for someone to use the bathroom or shower. And of course no screen doors are maddening, so we could have fresh cool air and flies or be stuffy and no flies. And the AC unit is in the living area/futon sleeper so door has to be open for bedroom to get cold air.

Nice Boxenstopp in the hood of castellane

Easy Checkin. The rooms are very big and modern. The Pool-garden-area is nice to chill a bit. Parking direkt in front of the property.

The house consists of 4 or 5 Apartments. We stood on the ground floor and it was always noisy when somebody above us did something, especially in the bathroom. Although the apartment is a good size, we misses a couch or a comfy chair. Furthermore NO WIFI in such a new complex.
