We stayed here to see a show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater and the location was perfect for not only that but to get anywhere around the city. The house was adorable and the beds were super comfy after running all over town… Will definitely be back!!

This was the perfect place for us to stay for the Paint the Town weekend in St. Charles. We were close enough to Frenchtown, that we were able to walk back and forth. The home was clean and the traffic noise was not noticeable.

My wife and I visited STL to take in a Cards game. We wanted to stay outside the city in order to catch a plan to Minneapolis the day after the game. This property worked out great. It was convenient off the highway, and the neighborhood was quiet. Caryn was very responsive with our questions. We had a positive experience and would return if the occasion presents itself again.

Loved the charm of this old house, it was clean and comfortable, perfect for our weekend getaway. The location was great and we felt right at home. Being from a small rural town the traffic noise was noticeable but not annoying. We would stay here again without hesitation and probably will if it is available the next chance we get to visit St. Charles.

Property was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. Beautiful older home kept in excellent shape, with beautiful woodwork in home. Great communication with owners. Close to fast food, walmart if needed and also close to a very charming Main Street type area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect for 3 sibling adults. Loved the upstairs privacy bedroom and the downstairs room closer to the restroom.

We had a great time at this cute little cottage. This is the second time we have stayed at this house. We love the location because it is close to Main street. It is very easy to get to. The house was very clean. I would highly recommend staying at this house.

Great location, host was flexible as we arrived 2 hours early and we were able to gain access with a message sent to host. House had Keurig coffee pot, coffee, dishes and cookware. The bathroom had shampoo/conditioner and soap which was a nice touch. We walked to historic downtown and visited establishments along our walk-through Frenchtown, the first day in 50-degree weather and the next in a snowstorm. It's not a short distance but very doable with the right foot ware. Beds were good, average mattress, king size in both rooms. Stairs to get to the upstairs, husband 6'4" did need to bend to avoid hitting head in slanted ceilings. It wouldn't discourage us from staying again. Fridge needed wiped out and floor in living room needed swept under the ottoman, other than those two minor things the house was very clean. Outdoors was well lit and night lights throughout the house were nice to have. Would stay again.

This is a cute little cottage that had some great historical aspects in it. The only down side is how busy the location is. There is quite a bit road noise but the owner has obviously no control over that. I would gladly stay here again.

While we didn’t meet or talk to the owner, the house was ready early, entry code was sent and the property is just as advertised. What more could you want? Would stay there again if I was in the area. All good!!

We had the most wonderful stay. This was such a charming old home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the back porch every morning and every evening. We were unfortunately in town for a funeral, but having this little house provided us with a nice escape and place to unwind. We will absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our weekend thoroughly. The neighborhood and the house were perfect. We rode our bikes to the Katy trail and to the shopping district. The house was awesome, bed and pillows were above average with comfort, once we figured out the Nest the climate was controlled much nicer. It is in a safe neighborhood, a little noisy with the traffic, but easily ignored. We would def return. Thank you

Can’t say enough about this house. Location was excellent. Loved the age and character of the house. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathtub was wider than standard and lots of hot water. Will definitely book again if it’s available next time I’m in St. Charles.
Plenty of light for the back patio and driveway.

This home is conveniently located off 370. It's an older cottage but had everything we needed for the weekend. Caryn responded promptly to questions.

Enjoyed our stay. House is located minutes from all the shops and restaurants on main strip of St. Charles. House well kept. As referenced in other reviews the stairs are steep going up to other bedroom and down to laundry room. Just a consideration for mobility concerns. Will be looking at this property when we return to see family again!

We had a great stay and we’re very comfortable. The beds are very firm which my husband loved. I like a soft bed so should have brought my memory foam with me but was all wonderful.

This was a neat little place. There was a crack in the front door and a crack in the floor. This wasn't a bad thing, it added to the 1940 feel. The sliding doors were neat but I would prefer a lock on the bathroom door. :) Overall, this was a really comfortable place to stay. The windows looked brand new. And there is a washer and dryer in the clean basement downstairs. It was also just a short drive from Main st which was awesome to walk down with all of their outdoor restaurants and stores. Our girls stayed in the upstairs bedroom and we stayed in the bedroom on the main floor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the St Charles area.

My aunt, uncle and I really enjoyed staying at this house. It provided everything we needed, the bathroom and kitchen had all the expected amenities plus extras (plenty of towels, TP, etc.). The stairs up to the attic are as advertised - they are steep but there is a very sturdy handrail. We, as a matter of preference, would have liked firmer mattresses, but that is just our preference. Plenty of parking space, easy access from highway and to downtown St Charles and the Sundermeier RV park. Three TVs connected to WiFi with Roku devices, oversized, cushy sectional couch, full sized W/D. As with any small house, you can easily hear from room to room, but the windows did a great job keeping any road noise from being a problem during the day, and there's little traffic at night. Blinds also did great keeping heat out during the day and keeping rooms dark until you got up in the morning. If houses could speak, this one would have some great stories! The owners have clearly worked to make this a warm, inviting place. And DoorDash delivers!
