Beautiful and exactly as advertised. Lots of ‘essentials’ already in house so we didn’t have to use much of what we bought eg toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, seasonings etc

The cabin was very peaceful. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and just hanging out. We would book this cabin again.
The one thing that would be nice is a map of how to get to the beach shown in the welcome book.

The cabin was immaculate. The kitchen amenities provided were exceptional. Driveway could be challenging for ‘low’ cars . Very nice deck and peeks of lake. Close to Crown Point trail and lake.

This little cabin was perfect for me and my husband and our dog. It was very clean and orderly, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cookware, utensils, spices, small appliances and more. Heads up for coffee drinkers - there is a Mr. Coffee-type machine, not a Keurig. Bring ground coffee! The beds are comfy, the shower is great, the wall heaters work great but are noisy. The cabin is in a shady spot so it’s on the cool side - bring some warm clothes for lounging in the mornings and evenings unless you come at a very hot time of the year. The neighborhood is very very quiet. State land across the road between the cabin and the lake so all you see is trees! We’ve already booked it for next year. Crown Point Trail is a must for daily walks. The beach is secluded and cozy. A great find!

The walk to the beach was ideal. The walk itself is beautiful and the beach was perfect. My toddler and pups were thrilled. Was pleased with how well the kitchen supplies were stocked.
Bring your own pillows if you prefer soft and comfortable- beds and pillows are firm.
You will not be directly communicating with the owner and will be using a property management company which means every time you interact with them/ ask a question, etc. you get a new person and zero wiggle room when it come to check in/ check out/ fees anything policy related etc.
I definitely prefer to deal with owners personally vs a property management and will never again in the future.
Home is nice and location is great. We saw plenty of deer that came by the property which was also a highlight.

We had a great stay at this cozy home in Cascade. The driveway is a bit narrow and steep so 4-wheel drive is a good idea in winter. The layout of the home is great for a family or two couples.

This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Very well stocked. Didn’t need anything because it was already there.
Definitely would recommend this rental to anyone.

Nice place, comfortable and clean. We went in the winter, so took the car to get places and didn't do a lot of walking around, but it doesn't look like it'd be that tough to get to the lake from the building.

Great little place and loved the wood stove on the cold nights! The driveway was super difficult in the winter, had a diesel truck and that wasn't good enough getting in the first day. Got stuck. Would be amazing in summer for sure!

The property was well maintained, and their amenities were upgraded. The cabin was stocked appropriately for 4 Adults. The accommodations were comfortable, stove fireplace cozy and overall, an enjoyable stay. Just make sure you read through the management contract for specific details.

Great home and location. Quiet and secluded but just minutes from downtown Cascade. Well equipped kitchen and a beautiful front deck. Short hike to Cascade Lake and beaches from a trail head right across from the property. Deer wander through the property every morning.

Great location
My husband turned 50 so we decided to head to the mountains for a little get away. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The large windows allowed us to watch the snow fall and look over the lake. We took our dogs for a quick walk to the lake which is just a short distance away. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great cabin for small families
This was a perfect place to stay as a family with two school-age kids. The kitchen was well stocked and the living area was comfortable. The location was close to town and a nice ice fishing spot. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Cascade for a long weekend.

A short getaway in Cascade.
The cabin was very nice. It was clean and in a quiet area. We had everything we needed, just as advertised. It was a relatively short hike to the beach. Had a question and they responded quickly. The neighbor was very friendly. Would stay here again.

Awesome cabin and location!
Cabin was very well equipped! Had everything we needed.
Short walk to the lake... Hint: The cemetery close by will have two trails on either side. If you take the trail away from the cabin, it will be an easy (scenic) hike down to a very quiet beautiful beach area.
Will be back.

Not as advertised
This is a nice, newer cabin. It just wasn't really what we had hoped for. First of all, this was advertised as a property for 6 people, but it is really only suited for 4. There is not room for more than four people eatting or in the living room or sleeping. There are two queen sized beds & that's it. No pull out bed or extra mattresses or bedding at all. And wood floors make it impractical to put down a sleeping bag. We had 2 uncomfortable teenagers in the living room. And "short walk to the lake" is relative. On Google Maps it looks like the lake is right across the street. And technically it is, kind of.
But there is pretty dense forest between the house & lake with no obvious way across. My daughter and I walked down the road to explore a trail & 20 minutes later got to the water. But it was not an obvious or direct route. If this is what you want or are expecting it would be a nice place to stay. The kitchen was great for cooking a we saw a deer in the yard. There was quite a bit of dog hair, though.
