The breakfast was an excellent continental, with a wonderful assortment of pastries, fruit, cereal, fruit juice, and scrambled eggs. The location was right on the shore looking west, a fabulous view from our room, which had a balcony and outside sitting area.

The hotel has an amazing SPA, and the service of all the staffs are amazing. The front desk provided us lots of tips for exploring the island. They went out of their way to make sure we got transportation from the hotel to the port for the ferry. A very special thanks to Alessandra, who made all the calls to arrange our ferry back to Naples.
Just a suggestion for being a four star hotel. Breakfast varieties were very limited, we were there for four days and the food were the same.

Very clean, the room and the spa both.
The breakfast very good even if it was mainly pastries, but the quality was good and the coffee freshly made for us.
Good location for both beaches and town centre/port.
Economy room is very basic, toiletries in the bathroom are almost nonexistent.
outside jacuzzi could do with an update.

Waking up in the morning and having breakfast with the smell and view of the sea was refreshing and a great way to start each day. We would then go to the spa and go for a swim, a jacuzzi and a sauna before heading out (there were also plenty of other facilities and treatment options). Every evening, the view of the sunset was spectacular. It really lives up to its name!

The Spa was great.

Everything was perfect - staff was really friendly and helpful, and the spa was great. Also location was perfect: a few minutes walk from the centre, but not loud at night.

Very good location, near the centre and the port. Excellent breakfast and a very nice breakfast area. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The rooms are not soundproof. I could hear people talking and walking on the stairs.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The property is very close to the centre but probably in the opposite direction of where the majority of t people holidaying stay.
The breakfast could be better… It’s continental buffet style where 50% of the offerings are sweet/cake based. Probably typical for Italy but something to be wary about.

staff very nice, cleaning good, breakfast with fruits .
no vegetables at breakfast, shower too small

The hotel is very clean and has good facilities, the spa was very nice and we had a lovely massage. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was bigger than expected with a sea view.
The food could have been better. We went down to breakfast 30 minutes before the end of breakfast time and there wasn't much left.

everything. It was amazing from start to finish. The employees were all friendly and helpful and the owner was amazing and so friendly. I am always impressed when the owner shakes hands and greets everyone and this is exactly what you will get when you stay at the Royal Sunset Hotel. PERFECTION!

We had a nice stay at the hotel, it is clean and beautiful.
Super well located between two tourist spots in the region of Forio.
The Spa is amazing and the service very kind.
The restaurant has excellent fresh pasta and Isabela is an excellent professional.
the shower only. Some water shower jets were blocked.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable

Rooms are very nice and clean. Location is good. Nice sea view from the breakfast area, also good breakfast variety considering the "standard" in this part of Italy. Nice spa area in the hotel.
English skills of many staff members was rather poor. Selected room type was not available. Booked massage timeslot turned out not to be available, we had to take an inconvenient time last-minute or skip. Room bill included a service we didn't use.

I accidentally found Royal Sunset Hotel when walking back from Citara Beach and am so glad I did. The hotel is a perfect hidden paradise conveniently located between Ischia’s best beaches and Forio town center, only a short distance away from the best restaurants on this side of Ischia. The property is relatively new and the hotel features spacious modernist style rooms and gorgeous tile floors. I stayed in one of the ocean view rooms and was not disappointed - the sunset views from my balcony were unparalleled.
Staff were friendly and very helpful and provided excellent suggestions for what beaches to visit and where to go. They also arranged transportation for me back to Ischia Porto.
The hotel’s facilities are incredible - two pools (one outdoor and one indoor), as well as a large spa center with a sauna, steam room, water pressure jets room, a jacuzzi, and a cold plunge pool. The spa also provides massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure appointments for affordable prices. I booked a massage and was very impressed with the quality and service.
The room itself was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with bath supplies. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of options including traditional Italian fare and other foods including bacon and eggs. Food was served on the terrace overlooking the ocean, giving diners a spectacular view of the sea.
I would have stayed longer, but the property was fully booked! I will definitely stay again in the future.
6.0
The room was spacious and the position was great to reach all the main beaches in Forio. The staff was nice and helpful.
The water in both shower and toilet wasn’t working properly, we were told it was due to some renewing works needed so possibly in the future would be better. There was no complimentary water which I feel in a four stars hotel for the price paid would have to be included. Finally the breakfast was buffet and we felt during pandemic times the fact that everyone could touch the same tools might not be appropriate in respect of the anti-COVID-19 norms.
