We came to Boise to visit our daughter. We arrived a little early and asked for early check in and was offered early check in for a fee while the place was ready. I declined and waited till 3:00 check in time and couldn’t enter the house. My passcode would not work. It’s 100 degrees outside and attempted enter with several different codes given to us from management. Luckily the maintenance guy came buy and gave us his code to finally enter an hour later . We went to get ourselves ready to go out to dinner and there was only 1 towel. Called management for another towel and was offered extra towels the next day we had to run to rite aid down the street for extra towels. House needs a full length mirror and suitcase racks. The house gets crazy with smells from downstairs long term tenant when they cook. the house was very comfortable and accommodating other than that.

It was fine. Driveway tight. Parked on street. Yes, we would return again.

The location was good and the neighborhood was beautiful. We were there in the spring and everything was thriving. The house was small but cute. Would stay again.

Perfect location and charming property.
Very near lots of parks and recreation as well as dining and shopping.

The house is in a great neighborhood that is a short bike ride to downtown. Communication with the property manager was quick and helpful.

Very cute. All inclusive. I rented top and bottom unit and it was great. Couldn't hear anything in between ubits. Very private. Easy walk to cute shops and great breakfast place..."Verify" Also downtown "Bacon" was fantastic too!

Great cottage in super quiet location. Able to walk/bike downtown and easy access to restaurants. AC was super and cooled us off from the heat. Kitchen had a lot of charm.

I was in town to golf with friends that live nearby. the house was perfect as all i needed to do was make coffee in the morning and sleep. both worked out very well. will definitely stay there again.

It was a great spot, close to downtown but also in a quiet area. The place was clean and the kitchen was awesome. we loved our stay here and would stay again if coming back to Boise.

Beware! There is a strange guy who lives below the bedroom and bathroom of this cottage. He is loud with abrupt outbursts and the sound reverberates through the floor or the HVAC vents. It's pretty obnoxious. One night he carried on with a buddy ALL NIGHT LONG, thru to the morning. Who knows what they were doing (playing video games?), but it's not what we want to hear when we're on vacation. Owners: you should NOT be renting this cottage on VRBO as long as you have the downstairs tenant. Seriously not cool. A secondary issue was that the bed pillows were FLAT, the comforter was thin and the bathroom towels were a random assortment of scratchy white with some black nubs on some of them. Oh, and there were only FIVE hangers. C'mon owners, I think you can do better than this! And was there dish soap and sponge anywhere? If so, we couldn't find them. Was happy to leave!

The house was well stocked and cosy.
The management team were very responsive to all our requests and needs.

Overall, was a wonderful little space. Cute and cozy. Quiet enough for location so close to major road. Sound and cooking smells from neighbors and feeling like my sound carried was biggest issue.” Minor” overlooked cleaning like dusty bathroom vent, underbed vacuuming, and dust buildup in a couple corners was all. For the price was Amazing compared to many properties! Thanks for relatively affordable great place to stay. !

The property was great. Although I probably wouldn't choose another property again that has a downstairs tenant.

The owner set us up with all of the info we needed to make sure our stay was as smooth as one could ask for. We were close enough to downtown that we could walk (which we did almost every time), and there is plenty to do/eat within 1 mile of the house.

Had a lovely stay here, nice and clean and even though the building is old (1930s), it’s nicely updated. The kitchen is nice - big French-door fridge, large sink, gas stove, both Keurig and regular coffee maker, and there’s a cute breakfast nook. The living room is comfy and has a nice big TV with all the streaming. One thing to note is that there aren’t a lot of electrical outlets (probably because of the age of the building), so just plan ahead with long charging cords if you like to use your devices while charging. And the bathroom is quite cozy so you’ll have to take turns getting ready haha… But that wasn’t a problem or anything, we very much enjoyed our stay here. Recommend for sure!

Check-in was easy and the communication was great. What I did learn while communicating with the property manager is that someone lives below. (Which I found out the day I was arriving.) The description and everything I read before booking didn’t mention this. It wasn’t a huge deal honestly but I like when it is stated in and on the booking site. I have rented other homes that have tenants living below so that is not a problem. Just knowing upfront is nice. I like to have my kid and his girlfriend over so my husband and I can make them nice home cooked meals and play games on the evening. (It’s nice to have home cooked meals and family time when you’re in college away from home.) Without knowing ahead of time of the tenant, I was uneasy and didn’t have my kid over. This was something I could have shared with the manager if I would have known before hand. The floors are wood and creek and I did not want to disturb the tenant. The floors are thin, as I could here the tenant below cough etc..
Our tv turned on by itself and passcodes and names were moving about on it… we were thinking it was the tenant below and somehow his service could turn on the tv. Strange, very strange but no big deal.
It looked and seemed very clean until I went to find an outlet - around and behind bed and nightstand was full of dust balls. The bathroom vent looks as though it has never been cleaned.
The couch, living and dining area were very comfortable. Sadly the bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are very flat and hard. The mattress protector is a more plastic cover in which makes you sweat terribly. There was no breathing with the plastic cover and the nylon sheets. The bed and bedding I believe in general need an update.
They did have an extra blanket in the living room and that was appreciated. They provided a few coffee pods and powder coffee mate for the morning which was a nice touch. The welcome card and bottle of water was a nice surprise when getting in that evening. The cottage itself is very aesthetically cute, adorable and pleasing to the eye.
I can’t say I would stay here again but I think it could work really well for others!

The cottage is a one minute walk to bus stop for a five minute ride to downtown. In the other direction it is just a 10 minute walk to the Hyde Park neighborhood for lots of eateries and coffee houses. The cottage is very clean, with an excellant heating system (outside temps were in the 20s), well appointed kitchen and comfortable sofa. Will stay again. Also, the property manager responded very quickly to a request we had during our stay.

I love the 1930’s charm! And the gas stove was a treat. I could get used to that real fast.

great location
We appreciated the peaceful decor and charming architecture.
The host was very quick to respond to our questions.
The only drawback was the that the other tenants were very noisy during the night.
Beautiful neighborhood and close to everything we needed!

Great location, charming property. Very well equipped - kitchen, linens, smart TV. Very nice furniture.

Everything on the property was very clean, updated, and fresh. It was perfect for our small family consisting of two adults and a child. Although we didn’t stay there during the day as we were busy visiting family in the area it was just right for what we needed. Within walking distance to grocery restaurants and more. Just off the beaten path it was surprisingly quiet. The only suggestion would be to update the mattresses on the main bed and the couch as they were a but Uncomfortable but sufficient..

This cottage is ideal for a couple! Spotless and all of the amenities you will need. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and communication with the owner was stellar. There's a grocery store just a couple of blocks away which was perfect and downtown is only a 15-20 min walk. The area is safe and is located in a great jumping off point if you're interested in day trips outside of Boise. Downtown has a lot of great restaurants and we walked into town at least once a day with no problem. Double check business hours wherever you go as we ran into a lot of places not open on various days and limited operational hours. Parking is available on the property as well as the street and no hassle. Don't miss a short drive or 15 min walk to Hyde Park Pub and Grill. We stumbled on to this awesome sports bar on Sunday and they were showing every football game possible. (It's a Packers bar so pay attention to the game schedule because it will fill up quick!)
Overall, this cottage was perfect for us, met all of our needs and the owners were fantastic!

Perfect little house
We loved staying at Whitney's property. It was just what my wife and I needed. One bedroom, cozy house, great location. I love to run long distances and I was able to do a long run from the house, through the Capitol and downtown and out on the river trail and back. Beautiful. Super close to grocery stores, dining and the downtown area. I don't know why anyone would stay at a hotel over this place. If we go to Boise again I'll look for this place.

Nice place. However we were surprised to find out a basement studio was located beneath our space. We received an email asking that we walk lightly and not to have the tv on too loud as the floors squeak and the basement dwellers can hear all movement and sound. Additionally I would strongly suggest you add a light switch in the hallway for the kitchen light. As set-up now you have to walk to the far side of the kitchen for a light switch.
