About this apartment rental
Our beautiful, two bedroom / 2 bathroom fully refurbished, air conditioned apartments with spectacular sea views are two of the best located sea view apartments on the popular Upper Monte Dourado Resort in the centre of Carvoeiro. Beach, restaurants, shops and bars are only a couple of minutes walk away. Located within a cluster of six apartments (two high by three wide) with amazing sea, beach and village views from the lounge, balcony & master bedroom. Free wi-fi. Two swimming pools (one heated in off season) and children's pools with ample sunbeds and parasols are just a few steps away at the rear of the apartment. The Tennis Courts on site are only a couple of minutes walk away. Entrance hallway leads to all rooms. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and consists of:- Fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/dining room with log burner and air conditioning, 2 refurbished bathrooms with electric heater and heated towel rail, 2 spacious bedrooms with air conditioning, ample storage facilities and good sized well furnished south facing balcony with spectacular sea, beach and village views. Quick access to the street below via the side gate. AC helped us quick a bit on the hotter days! Spacious apartment since it was just me and my wife, great view of the center of Carvoeiro.

Having just returned from a stay in Sally’s apartment, I have to say this is one of the best apartments I have stayed in. Ample room for 4 adults, well equipped, beautiful terrace with an amazing view. Short walk into the town with plenty of great restaurants. Small supermarket about 5 mins walk away which stocked everything we needed.

Wonderful apartment with everything we needed for our week’s stay. Fantastic host, Sally, took the time to call us and check we had arrived safely and had everything we needed. Carvoeiro provided plenty of choices of restaurants and bars. Recommend the boardwalk for stunning views and the nearby Boneca restaurant down among the rocks.

Overall it was a nice place to stay with an incredible view but there were a couple of things that were not satisfactory. The washing machine smelled like mold and the toilet clogged without us doing anything abnormal. Because of the clog, the toilet leaked everywhere on the ground and no one ever came to clean it up for us, even after us asking the reception desk twice. We ended up abandoning that bathroom and using the other one the rest of the time there. Wish I had a better experience because there was a lot of potential.

I would recommend this home. Both spacious bedrooms had a.c. The home was well equipped for indoor dining. Outdoor patio was great. Close to town center. Carvoiero was an easy location if your primarily English in language. Ferragudo is close by for a nice outing. Benagil is close by for visiting the Benagil cave.

Booking and paying straightforward. The owner provided extra information that assisted with our choice and support on queries during our visit. Lovely aspect looking across the village and it’s beach. Nearby locked gate provided quick and easy access to the village. There was a problem with a pump in the resort heated swimming pool but it was still warm enough to swim in mid March. Lovely spacious apartment with excellent ranges of crockery and glasses. Wood burning fire for cold evenings - barrow of wood costs Euro 10 just out of town. Extra blankets in wardrobe and electric heaters for early March cool evenings. Circular table seating 6 and excellent choice of TV channels. Our second visit in 2 years with an elderly parent who can’t wait to come back.

Great stay in a fabulous apartment! Everything needed was there. Large rooms, tastefully enhanced and very comfortable. The restaurant hill in Carvoeiro is walking distance within a few minutes. Can thoroughly recommend Donna Maria, Casa Algarvia, Hawali and The Earth Cafe - all very good and very reasonable.
We would certainly love to return.

The apartment had everything we needed and was perfect for our vacation. Really enjoyed your stay here over xmas. It is very comfortable and well equipped, plus the balcony has a very sunny orientation for a winter stay and great views over Carvoeiro bay.
Minor gripes were that the steps to the apartment can be tricky.
The front door had probably expanded due to the dampness of the previous weeks weather and was tight.
The main question is would we rebook, yes without hesitation.

Carvoeiro is absolutely beautiful and retains that Portuguese tradition. We loved our stay at this apartment which was beautiful, extremely comfortable and had the best view of the beach/sea/town. Great apartment in a fantastic location
We had a great stay in Casa Vera Sol Vista. The apartment is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the main streets of Carvoeiro. It's extremely well equipped, a very good size, has beautiful sea views and was spotlessly clean. It's an ideal apartment for a stay at any time of the year. We would definitely stay there again.

Mooie ingerichte en mooi gelegen woning
Erg mooie woning op een prima resort. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. En contact vooraf met de eigenaresse verliep erg prettig.
Enige ‘maar’ is de receptie van het resort. Ze rekenen erg veel commissie zonder dat ze daar transparant over zijn. Zo ‘hielpen’ ze ons door een telefoontje van 3 minuten te plegen naar een medisch centrum voor een afspraak voor een COVID-test voor onze drie kinderen. Vervolgens moesten we de kosten vooraf cash aan hun betalen en daarin bleek achteraf 40% commissie te zitten. Dat is wel erg veel voor iets wat ook gewoon onder service zou kunnen vallen.

wonderfull apartment and prefect location
This place is unique. Nice and large apartment with beautiful view over the sea from the balcony. Clean pools and plenty of them. It is really perfect that you can walk within 5 minutes to the beach, restaurants and small shops.
This part of the coast is so beautiful - we can highly recommend this.

Love the view
Great place with a great view! Checkin with reception was very easy. Stairs up to the apartment was tough with heavy suitcases. Walk to the beach and town from the apartment was a steep hill but manageable. Apartment had everything we needed, including 2 hairdryers! Also had beach chairs, beach umbrella and we noticed beach toys stored under one f the beds. Beds were pretty firm. Master bedroom had large bed, second bedroom with two twin beds that were put together but could be separated. Two bathrooms is a plus for4 adults. Carvoiero is a lovely little beach town perfect for CoVid summer2021, just wonder how packed it gets during regular tourist season. Just a perfect place!

A fantastic apartment in a great location
Sally's apartment is superb in every way - spacious, clean with great views from the large balcony, swimming pools on the doorstep and very close to Carvoeiro beach and the town centre. To offer some context, our previous visit to Carvoeiro was spent at the 5-star Tivoli hotel and, whilst we had a great time there, we both much preferred our time at Casa Vera.

Beautiful apartment, in a beautiful location! Apartment was immaculate, good size rooms and a lovely balcony with amazing views of the village and sea. Pool literally on the doorstep, perfect for our kids and Small sandy beach in easy walking distance, with plenty of amenities. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be looking to book again in the future 🙂

Carvoeiro im Herbst
Tolle Ferien in einer tollen Wohnung. Wir haben die Zeit in Carvoeiro sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist toll gelegen und hat eine schöne Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und die Küche super eingerichtet. Etwas irreführend sind die Fotos des Balkons. Die beiden Wohnungen mögen zwar vom Grundriss her ähnlich sein, die Balkone sind es aber nicht.

Einfach perfekte Ferienwohnung
Wir haben die 14 Tage in der Anlage sehr genossen, alles war perfekt organisiert. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man brauchte und war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon überragend. Es gibt eine Abkürzung in die Stadt. Man ist in 5 min im Ortskern. Zurück ist es nach ein paar Bier etwas anstrengend, aber das ist aufgrund der Lage am Hang überall in Carvoeiro so. Geht noch schlimmer ;-)
Mo, Mi und Fr kam ein Hausmädchen.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder in diese Apartementanlage fahren.

The property was lovely, but the pool area needs to be bigger. Also reception were a bit reluctant to get us a taxi to our apartment, usually you go down to reception with all your bags, suitcases. This isn’t good enough really considering the cost of the apartment.

Fabulous apartment in great location.
Sally has thought about everything you need for a comfortable stay. We have stayed in many apartments and there is always something missing that the host hasn't provided. Not here, Sally has everything you need and more, even a First Aid kit! Great selection of English speaking TV channels, lost of chairs for dining and reclining on the balcony, even beach chairs! Beds are very comfy, bedding and towels all top quality, High recommended for a very comfortable stay, and those views top it all off!

Emplacement tres bien situé. Vue sur la plage et l'océan. Parfait. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille avec 2 adolescents en juillet 2018. Équipement complet. Meme les jeux dvd cartes lieux a visiter et restaurants sont présents. Plusieurs piscines. Complexe bien entretenu. Tennis dans le complexe. Proche de la plage. Une montée en revenant mais le village est en colline. Vous pouvez le lire nous sommes enchantés du village du complexe et nous trouvons parfait l'appartement. Les propriétaires sont aussi tres prévenants. 2 chambres bien séparées avec suite parentale.
