Overall we had a great stay and weather was nice so we could enjoy the outdoors. The house was clean and well thought out with supplies and cute decor throughout. Plenty of bath and beach towels, laundry was a major plus. Great communication from owner when we messaged. No dishwasher so disposables were provided which is nice not to have to do a ton of dishes on vacay. Beaches were very crowded and most times no spots were available to park. With two kids it took is about 20 minutes to walk to beach with supplies so we drove and paid for parking. 1.5 hr wait times at restaurants so plan ahead and put your name in while you go back to your place to shower after beach day. We stayed thurs-mon so perhaps the weekday is less chaotic. My only main issue about house is the moisture issue with a mildewy smell that my allergies really reacted to. Perhaps a dehumidifier or installing a bathroom exhaust fan could help with that. I did unplug the wall fragrance as well as sometimes those are too strong for me. We grilled out and enjoyed the outdoor bags game. I would bring a meat thermometer if you want and also microwavable bowls if you need it. The neighborhood was transitional. Mostly beach houses to the north and lower income to the south. We overall felt safe and didnt have any issues. The saturday market was great go early for less crowds! Fresh fruit meats and artisan creations. Good value for the price. Thank you for opening yo your place in south haven.

The Lazy Daisy is even better than advertised. It is such a cheery and comfy home with everything you might possibly need for your stay. It is a great place to relax and Joyce and Mike have thought of everything. Large backyard with deck and fireplace are a bonus! Can't wait to return!

The house is so cute! It is well stocked with bathroom products, disposable paper plate, cups and utensils. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is tiny, but very functional. Host was very responsive. not too far from blue stairs and downtown.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Lazy Daisy! The property was immaculately clean, organized, and nicely decorated, making us feel right at home. It was well-stocked with games, kitchen items, and toiletries. The house is a short 5 minute drive to the Kids Corner playground, beach, and numerous shops and restaurants downtown. My family had an absolute blast this week!

Love how colorful and cute the place was and how it wasn't far from the beach, you can definitely walk to the beach but it was a workout and only had the strength to do it once lol. Aso liked how it was stocked with things like a hair dryer, qtips, toothbrushes, and plastic cutlery and cups if we didn't want to wash any dishes. There was also a large jug of apple juice in the fridge and I drank the whole thing🙈 Wish the kitchen trashcan was bigger than a small trashcan as we had quite a lot of trash and had to use every trashcan in each room, and as we made home cooked meals every day, the fire alarm kept going off because of lack of ventilation even if the windows were open so we brought the fan from one of the closets and had it blow air out the windows and that seemed to solve it. There was a lot of input lag for Netflix for some reason but other things seemed to work. Overall, hada great time, close to beach, liked the stuff provided, cute place, only minimal criticisms.😀👍

This is a lovely cottage in South Haven within walking distance to the beach and town.The cottage is well supplied with everything you need to make a wonderful stay. It has lots of outdoors seating, a grill area and fire pit. We will be back!

Great little spot very close to downtown. We were able to walk into downtown in about 10 minutes, but did opt to drive and park when we visited the beach. Close to the park which was great with our little ones. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We can’t wait to come back!

Look no further! This property is absolutely perfect! We booked this as a last minute get away for our family. We’ve stayed at LOTS of vacation rentals and this one is the best in all areas! Very clean with lots of extras to make the stay perfect.Beach by day and Bonfires by night! . Hosts are excellent communicators and have truly gone above and beyond for the rental! We’ll be back!

The Lazy Daisy was a great place to bring my grown children and their partners for a weekend at the beach. The house is cute and well designed so that we were comfortable for sun and rain. Joyce was a great host and quickly fixed a small issue. Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The cottage is super clean, and stocked well for vacation. The added details of games to play was appreciated. Wooden tic tac toe & bags set for example. Joyce was also quick to respond with questions and checked in with us via text when we arrived to make sure we settled in ok.

We stayed at the Lazy Daisy with our 3 children, all under the age of 10. The house is very small but extremely well done - they have everything you could possibly need all cleverly tucked away. The fire pit was prepared and ready to be lit, the laundry area had detergent pods and dryer sheets at the ready, there were adorable single use toothbrush and toothpastes and everything else you may have forgotten ready for you in the bathroom. I think they did a wonderful job with a small space - somehow fitting everything without it feeling crowded or cluttered at all.

Absolutely wonderful. This little home is so cute and cozy. Joyce absolutely thought of everything. I could have come with just the clothes on my back and been quite comfortable there. When I say Joyce thought of everything I mean everything. Indoor games outdoor games, firewood, toiletries, extra blankets, tray full of goodies to make s'mores. Everything was there for us. Just after we checked in Joyce called to make sure we had gotten settled in and to see if there was any problems or anything we needed. Communication with her was so easy with very quick responses The beds were quite comfy, the home was very clean, so close to everything in the downtown area yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. One of the best mini vacations I've ever taken. I would love to stay at the Lazy Daisy again, it's a perfect little getaway. Thanks again Joyce for being such a great host.

My husband and I had just a couple of days to get away for a much needed rest. South Haven is our favorite place to go to relax. We decided to try the Lazy Daisy for this trip and it did not disappoint! What a fun place! It was so bright and cheery! And very well stocked with lots of extras! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Cute little house, very clean and well stocked. Loved the deck space and fire pit in the back yard. Was close enough for 3 and 4-year-olds to walk to the beach and kids corner. Joyce was a wonderful hostess. We are already trying to plan a return trip!

We were in town for my brother‘s wedding this past weekend, and stayed two nights at the Lazy Daisy. Check in process was seamless and Joyce welcomed us through text and made sure that we had everything we needed. There were five of us staying there- myself, my husband, son and my parents, and it was the perfect size and basically had everything we needed, right down to supplies for s’mores! Thanks Joyce and Mike, we will definitely recommend the Lazy Daisy to anybody staying in Southhaven or nearby!

The Lazy Daisy was perfect. It is a little further from town but a nice walk. We walked to the beach each day. The trail is close and we could hop on and ride to Van Buren State Park. The owner’s thought of everything when stocking and cleaning our home away from home!

This place was quite cozy and at a great location. We were close to the beach (kid’s corner) and the downtown area. The owner had toiletries in case you forgot any, beach towels, and even beach blankets! They had marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers in case you want to make s’mores at the fire pit. They had a welcome gift for us upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Daisy. Mark and Joyce thought of everything. From the welcome bag and goodies to the shed full of wood, they included everything we would need (at the beach, at the house and anything else). There was ample supply of towels, paper products and blankets. The house was very clean and just as described on the site. We would definitely recommend this home to our friends. Thank you for having us.
