Step into our sunny-bright beach cottage with a farmhouse flare that will make you feel so welcome and cozy you won't want to leave! You will feel pampered by the personal touches and extras that come with your stay at this vacation home. Fetch some morning brew from our coffee bar and enjoy the morning peace nestled in the rockers on the front porch. Enjoy some family fun in the sun and sand followed with a home-cooked meal in the kitchen (or outdoor grill) full of all new appliances to meet all of your cooking needs. Enjoy your meal at the kitchen bar or at the dining room table amidst the warm glow of the fireplace. There are 2 TV areas for together cuddles or winding down family time. This home carries a small footprint, but feels incredibly roomy with high ceilings and open floor plan. Despite breeching 100 years, everything in this home is BRAND NEW!
Family games, toys and puzzles are great for inside fun, while outdoor pleasure is just around the block at Kids Corner and hiking/biking trails are down the street (Van Buren Trail) or across town (Kal Haven Trail). There's bike, moped and gulf cart rentals in the area to help you get around. Boat and jetski rentals can bring summer water fun.
Children will love the custom-made bunk experience (very fort-like) that has 2 twin beds above 2 full beds.
Downstairs bedroom has en suite full bathroom with tub/shower, glass enclosed. Upstairs full bathroom offers a walk-in shower, glass enclosed.
For your convenience a brand new washer/dryer is ready to assist!
The beach is two blocks away and festivities, restaurants, shops and winter ice rink are all in walking distance as well (6 blocks). Be sure to check out South Haven's calendar of festivals and events to enhance your time here. Evening ice-cream runs are a must! The harbor is also in walking distance (about 5 blocks) and offers a kids splash & play, live music, benches and grills or just pull up a yard chair and watch the boats go by. Small dogs under 20 lbs welcome with a $200 fee.

Our stay was wonderful. This house is beautifully decorated, clean, well thought out and perfect for our family. While we spent a lot of time together in this home playing games, watching the Olympics, having drinks on the porch, grilling out and enjoying the fire pit, it was also a perfect layout for us to retreat to our own space when needed. The kids took over the upstairs (bedroom, bunk, TV area and bathroom) and my husband and I the downstairs. This home is also in a great location. So close to the beach and Kids Corner and a nice walk to downtown. We've rented in South Haven for many years, and this rental is one of our favorites! Looking forward to coming back. Thanks for being great hosts Andy and Daniall.

Thank you so much for sharing your home. The attention to detail, homey atmosphere, and set-up were perfect for our family. I loved reading each morning on the front porch enjoying the gentle breeze. The home is a short walk to the beach access points and local park. Plus, it’s about 10-15 minute walk to the center of town for shops and activities. Excited to stay again!

The organization and cleanliness of this property is unparalleled! They thought of everything. Great spaces to unpack clothes, storage for bathroom supplies, tons of towels, blankets, fans, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked and even had ice machine repaired while we were there quickly. Can't say enough good things about this property. I was pleasantly surprised!

This house was so pretty! You could tell the homeowner put in a lot of time making sure there was everything a visitor might need during their stay. It was also very nicely appointed. Felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. It’s also so close to the beach while also being in a great neighborhood. Everyone was so friendly… This is definitely a must stay at house that makes you feel at home!

4 of us met up for a long weekend and had the BEST time! The kitchen in this home is stunning and was everything we wanted it to be. We absolutely loved the bunk room. Everything was so clean. It's two blocks from the beach. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful and cozy place for the three of us. The upstairs gave our teenage son nice privacy. The full kitchen was great. Thanks for having a drip coffee pot so we didn't have to use Keurig pods. Decor is wonderful and location was great for walking to the beach or to town. Thank you!

Just a beautiful cottage and quiet neighborhood. Walk to the beach and into town just be sure to be back for the sunset! Amazing. Owners are very responsive and have gone out of their way to make sure you have everything you might need. Really enjoyed this one and the location for our first trip to South Haven.

Great location to the beach and downtown South Haven. Home was adorable, clean and well stocked. Great layout for two families- each bedroom has its own bath and the bunk room/loft for kids is large- easily can fit 4-5 kids. Owners are super kind and gracious. Would stay here again!

We have visited South Haven in prior summers and have been searching for a place like this. The home is very clean with everything updated. The knives are sharp, the appliances work well, the AC cools, the doors and floors don’t squeak after you’ve put the baby to sleep for the night. The built in bunk beds make vacation sleeping so exciting for kids. These are all things you often have at your own home, but never usually at your rental. The neighborhood is quiet and the houses are well kept. You can easily walk the 2 blocks to the beach (blue stairs) and kids corner, a few blocks to downtown. The property owners are so responsive, kind and genuine people. They left us a personalized note and gift card to the ice cream shop. The small touches in this home really makes the stay above and beyond. We will definitely stay again!

Cottage is perfectly located 2 blocks from Lake Michigan and less than half a mile from downtown. The neighborhood was both beautiful and quiet and the cottage was tastefully updated throughout. It perfectly suited our needs. Not only did we not have any issues, the owners supplied several thoughtful items and a welcome gift. We'll be back!

We had a short stay here, but this house made it all worth it. Great for kids upstairs, and a comforting downstairs. Perfect place for coffee on the front porch and a nice place to have a fire in the evening. Easy walk to the beach which makes it even more perfect.

Our expectations were high and the property was better than expected. Such a wonderfully appointed home that met ALL our needs. We would love to return again in the fall for the colors. The beach access was wonderful, restaurants in town very satisfying and the drive to Saugatauk had beautiful scenery. Having this house our "home" base was fantastic! Hosts were so thoughtful and the wine and ice cream gift card were appreciated beyond measure. Will return in the future!

This house is adorable! My friend and I stay here without kids (ages 4-7) for a quick weekend getaway. All of us (kids too) just loved this house. The location is excellent. Quick walk to the beach and the Kids' Corner Park. You could walk to downtown for lunch or dinner or shopping. If you have little kids, I'd bring a stroller or wagon to make the walk easier :) We found the house well equipped for everything we needed from coffee to rainy day games.
