The unit is very nice. The entrance to the place is very off setting. Nothing the owner of the unit can change. No hot water this morning. We only stayed one night so, no time to call and get it fixed before checkout. We all get a 3 hour ride home with no shower. I think a public breakfast is now out of the question. If your staying a few days i would recommend its cozy and really close to a ski lift, very clean. Check in is at 4 and office closes at 4. Not sure how to get parking and amenity passses, not sure where amenities are located. No property map. With all that said, im sure these are minor things that could be worked out easily if we had stayed multiple days.

This condo was exactly what we needed for a one night stay and value is what you’d expect for the price. Thank you to the owners!

Really nice and beautiful area!

Easy access, nice views of surrounding mountains and towns. No need for AC at 5000 feet, but if that is deal breaker, it does not have air. However, the unit built in to the earth on the front side and open in rear and has no heat issues. We went in late June and it was cool both day and night. Actually perfect temperatures. Intermediate drive to local attractions and restaurants, but only probably 20 minutes to Banner Elk. The place itself is fairly standard, but is very clean and has everything you need to self sustain on groceries. Also, TV and WiFi were working. Very pleased for the daily rate.

When we booked this property, we really were just expecting to have some place to lay our heads for the night. But this property far exceeded our expectations and we spent plenty of time relaxing in the living room or on the porch. My daughter loved the bunk beds and I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking utensils you could ever possibly need. My husband and I agreed that we will only be booking this property for any future mountain visits. The only complaint I have is that I wish some laundry detergent was included with the use of the washer and dryer, but that was just a super minor inconvenience.

Condo is fine. Clean and has what you need but the location makes it wonderful! Right on the slope and at the lift. Our second visit and we will be back next ski season

Overall this spot was lovely and just fine for a short stay. Would have been disappointed if we were there for a longer time.

The space was great and the condo decor was really cute. Just as it is pictured. This is an old ski condo that has been remodeled. The kitchen and the beds need updating. There were holes in the drywall in the primary bathroom. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning.

The refrigerator, bathroom rugs, shower curtain, extra blankets, and behind the bathroom door were all dirty.

It had everything we needed for the most part, and it was conveniently located to the grocery store in a coffee shop and the local downtown. The only issue we had was the coffee maker wasn’t cooperating so the unit may need a new coffee maker. Also, the water must’ve been high and minerals since it came out chalky white. The place was very clean, organized, and easy to access. We absolutely love to grandfather mountain and all the surrounding areas as well.

It is super close to amenities and recreation! The rental was clean and comfortable. I just wish I could have stayed more days to maximize enjoyment!

The property had not been cleaned upon our arrival at 8:15pm. I’m trying to communicate with the property manager, no one was able to make any adjustments to the reservation or contact anyone for a different location. We finally made the decision to find a hotel 30 minutes away. The rental company was so hard to work with and had no sense of urgency. In the morning, upon options provided 2 hour later, they actually asked if we “checked out” - why would we have stayed!?!?
We should have known when the incorrect address was provided, it was heading in the wrong direction.
The rental company did provide a refund only after requested by us as they tried to provide credit for another date.

It was as pictured, but there were a few places that could have been cleaned better. We found a couple of bugs in the master bathroom and some leftover food/crumbs on the floor in the kitchen. It was nice to be able to use the pool and have a just enjoy the views as well.

Perfect location for our teenagers to just walk out door and onto the slopes. Condo was newly remodeled and clean. I do wish the master bedroom had a little firmer mattress, it was extremely soft but that’s just a personal preference. Would definitely stay again!!!

Location, location, location. Perfect ski-in/ski-out for our family of 5 with 3 small kids. Checking in and out was seamless thanks the their use of technology and lock box for keys. Great accommodation for the price.

Enjoyed our stay. It was easy to schedule, check in and check out. Unit was clean but is older. Bring water...the tap is an odd, white color, not clear.

It was raining so hard when we went to sugar mountain. We have to cancel our itineraries for that day because of zero visibility. I called customer service if we can have early check in because we have a baby and no place to go due to weather condition and did not consider our request. I felt sad and disappointed

Mattresses are the worst ever dating back to college days. Worst than a hard Mattresses is the soft engulfing with absolutely no support. New refrigerator without a icemaker.......cheap, cheap, cheap.
No wi-fi? The owners renovation fell short by not finishing the basic details most assume as the norm.

Great location to Boone, Linville Falls, Beech and Grandfather Mountains. Very clean and up to date condo. Definitely will book this again.

convenient and prefect for a ski weekend
Location was great ... assuming Omas meadow run is open (check late in the season) you can walk out, put your skis on and go. You will need to get your lift ticket at the base once you ski down. Overall a nice place, updated interior, nice decor. Only complaint is the mattress in the master was ridiculously soft. Might be an issue for your back. The key cards for the amenities (pool, hot tub) we not left in the unit but that didn't matter much since we never wanted to use them.

The place was beautiful and updated and very great view. My only disappointment was the lift for this slope was closed and I wish I had known before booking. My husband wanted to be able to ski out of our room. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Condo on the Ski Slope
My family absolutely enjoyed our stay! The condo is located at the top of a ski slope and has amazing views. We had access to the gym & pool during our stay and it was so nice to be tucked up on the mountain for our stay but have plenty of access to shopping, golf and plenty of outdoor adventure activities within just miles. We will definitely be returning!

Great ski in ski out home
We stayed with our 3 children and the home was great. Perfect location at the top of the chair lift, first floor unit and very clean and organized. Will be staying here again.

Great location and comfortable
This last-minute getaway was wonderful! Nice location on the slopes, so a pretty view from the balcony. Kitchen is small but has everything we needed. Plenty of dining space for 4 at the table and 4 at the bar; comfortable sofa. Games and puzzles provided. Plenty of storage space. Tubs are very narrow and bathrooms are small but this would be perfect for two couples or a couple with children. The second bedroom has a neat single over double bed. Loved the location and Vacasa helped us with rebooking to this unit when we accidentally booked for the wrong date. Super customer service!

Great locations
It was amazing to be able to hike on the ski slopes right outside your place.

Beautiful view
Wi-Fi doesn’t work well. Hard to get a hold of management. The address is written 2 different ways, one being incorrect so that was confusing on gps. The hallway freshener smells really bad. However, the view is amazing, the neighbors were awesome, the picnic/bbq was great. The bed in the second bedroom was comfortable and there was plenty of cooking/dishes. Comfortable living room.
