The cottage is 610 square feet of panelled coziness nestled in shady woods within walking distance of the Flat Rock Playhouse and Carl Sandburg National Historic Site and Flat Rock's "Rainbow Row" (0.4 mile). The cottage is a separate living area but connected to the owners' house by a common roof.

Many excellent restaurants nearby. Many local breweries, wineries, and ciderworks.

This property is lovely. So peaceful and clean. Everything was just right: the kitchen, the bathroom, the bed, an extra room for suitcases and laundry. Plus little extras that make a place homey. And, convenient to area attractions or just doing nothing.

3 cubs cabin is quiet and relaxing. It is within an hour of Asheville and Greenville. Roz is an awesome host and is very thoughtful and organized about what she provides for your stay.

My husband and I had a nicevisit at 3 Cub. We were in the area to attend a production of Dirty Dancing at the Flat Rock Playhouse. The location of the cabin was only a short distance to the theater with several restaurants close by. However, while at the cabin we felt we were in the forest. The cabin was spotless and decorated nicely. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the wine and other snacks that were provided by the host. The outside area was private and so peaceful. We’ll definitely visit 3 Cub in the future.

We've had a wonderful time, comfortable and spotlessly clean, easy arrival and check-in, Roz took extra good care of us, solving an unforeseen snag, before it became a problem. Close to lovely dining, great hiking, apple orchard fun and more!!!

The Three Cub Cottage was delightful. It was just the right size for two people and we enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the birds and watching the small wildlife - no bears in sight! The cottage was well appointed and stocked. Loved the red wine the hosts provided. We went to attend the Hendersonville Apple Festival which was enjoyable. The location was great for getting to Asheville and other areas and being able to come back to a quiet and restful abode. Looking forward to another stay!

3 cups cottage was perfect for our needs. My husband and I were traveling to see family that is failing. This cottage was a wonderful refuge and base of operations – just perfect for the two of us! Roz was a charming and gracious hostess. She made sure we were checked in easily, and let us know how to reach her if we need anything. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of cooking utensils, as well as extra niceties, like a make-up mirror in the bathroom, and a welcome bottle of wine and snacks. We usually stay with family in the area, but if we ever need a place to stay, this will be our go to!

We went to Flat Rock to see "West Side Story " at the playhouse there and rented the 3 Bears for two nights The proximity of it to the playhouse was a plus The bed was very comfortable We really enjoyed the covered back patio. The entire cottage was exceptional and we plan to stay there when we go back to the theater.

We loved our stay at Three Cub! My wife and I stayed here for a few days on our honeymoon trip and it was the perfect spot. Easy to find and get to and it was easy to explore Flat Rock as well as get to Hendersonville, and Asheville. We only had one small issue that our wonderful hosts took care of right away and it definitely didn't detract in any way from our stay. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in a great area.

This is a great property in a great area. A lot of nice touches with attention to detail like beer glasses in the freezer, a bottle of wine, sodas and waters in the fridge, and snacks. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at 3 Cub Cabin for a week. It’s a small welcoming home. It has a comfortable couch to relax and the king size bed is wonderful. The extra room has the washer/dryer and extra storage which was perfect. Roz is warm and welcoming and check in was breeze. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again. Already recommended to friends.

We stayed 2 nights at 3 bear cabin. I loved the decor. It’s a small welcoming home. There is a Comfy couch to relax in LR and the king size bed in master is comfy also. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the front chairs but could have in the back as well. Peaceful nature surrounds you. Great area to walk around. We would have enjoyed a longer stay. Roz left k cups to get you started with creamers and breakfast bars, water bottles. Definitely recommend this home and location 5 minutes to town

The Three Cub Cottage was fantastic. It had that perfect small cabin vibe that we were looking for. We weren't there much aside from the morning and evening, but when we were there it was exactly what we needed. Roz provided many great amenities including free drinks and snacks. There is also a washer and dryer which was super convenient. The check-in process was very smooth as well. Overall, amazing stay and amazing host. Would definitely stay again.

This lovely little cottage is homey and welcoming and has everything you need for an extended stay. Everything was spotless when I arrived. The hosts are wonderful who were always kind and helpful when I had questions. The area is lovely with lots of sightseeing opportunities. I very much enjoyed my month-long stay and would not hesitate to visit again.
