This house is incredible ! The decorating is professional and welcomes visitors warmly.
We had a great time in Melbourne. The beach is minutes away so we watched the sunrise every morning we were there.
The best part at the end of the day after exploring was coming home to our slice of Heaven.
We will definitely be back !!

Great house for a warm-weather beach trip.

We watched a rocket launch from the beach, sitting on beach chairs from the house! High end stove and washer/dryer. Issues were resolved promptly by the host. Kitchen could be better equipped with utensils (e.g., no vegetable peeler) and if you are someone who like to sleep really cold, you will be challenged as the AC doesn't have a cold effect in the bedroom, even with the door open. Overall, very positive experience.

Delightful and expansive!
This home is delightful and expansive! Stayed here as a party of 3 siblings all 60+ years old in town for a cousin’s family reunion and wedding celebration. We enjoyed our accommodations immensely. Each of us had our own bedroom and full bathroom — very comfortable for 3 who desired our own space and privacy.
The home has a superb location to Melbourne Beach and to the town of Melbourne. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to the Melbourne Beach area!

Charming, comfortable beach house
A great value for a tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable mid-century home. Walkable pretty and safe neighborhood and 5 minutes to private beautiful beach. Home was open, spacious and cozy. RH and collectibles decorated. Pretty and private yard. Bikes and beach wagon were a plus.

Lovely stay in Melbourne Beach
Great experience with this rental. The house is in a fairly quiet neighborhood off of A1A. We have 4 small kids so we opted to drive to the beach at Spesard Holland Beach part as the Atlantic Street beach access has steps and I didn't wanna schlep all the beach gear and kids in the August sun. The rental was very clean, checking process super simple, really nice stay.

Better than the posting even led on!
We were so surprised with how big this listing was! It was so beautifully put together, clean, and in the perfect area to experience Melbourne beach but also be close to the bridge to reach mainland if needed. We didn’t want to leave!

Hibiscus House
We had a very nice stay at Hibiscus House. The home appears just as it does in the pictures. Very clean and well-appointed. Has everything you need to head to the beach. Would suggest a short drive rather than walk for best access. Close to grocery and eateries. Host is accommodating and communication is seamless. Felt very comfortable here. Would definitely stay again!!

The Perfect Beach House
This is the perfect beach house! It has a bright, casual, laid-back feel, and is stylish too! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. All the gear you could need for the beach is provided - umbrella, beach tent, chairs, towels, and even a wagon to carry everything. And, there are bikes for riding around the area. Neighborhood is quiet and great for taking walks or riding the bikes. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable and enjoy just hanging out. Grocery store, little local market, and other things you'd want or need are all nearby. A treasure of a house!

Adorable Beach Cottage
This home is in a quiet neighborhood with 5 minutes walk to the beach. Easy 10 minute drive to both the Historic downtown area and Eau Gallic Arts District. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need at the beach. There were beach chairs, towels, sunscreen and a beach cart available. The house has a large living area, dining table and cozy nooks to read a book. We loved it and hope to be back

An amazing spot by the beach
This place was the perfect setting for our weekend getaway! Stylish yet relaxed, my girlfriend dubbed it a glamorous surfer bungalow. Great example of midcentury tropical architecture. and retains many original features like jaloysue windows, wood floors, and bathroom tiles. The windows when opened catch the offshore breeze and the sound of the ocean is very nice.
A two winged house, each with its own bathroom so well laid out for two couples – enough privacy and also common space. We ate most of our meals on the front porch which was delightful. Plenty of places nearby to eat, drink and hang.
Brilliant place to unwind, swim, cook and read. We were lucky with the waves and brought our boards – the house is also well stocked for beach equipment. It is obviously loved, very clean and well cared for – a real find. We will be back !

Hibiscus House was truely a beautiful retreat
Hibiscus House - Walking into the house gives a feeling of airiness and serenity with a great open space in the living room that makes you want to spend all your time there. The time based battery-operated candles were a nice touch and enhanced the atmosphere. Sara and Kristin have truly thought of everything and were extremely responsive to any of our emails; our questions were answered within minutes. We had occasional run-ins with some critters, but that is to be expected in a tropical climate during the summer.
Overall a great place to stay if you are looking to getaway.

This house is even prettier than in pictures. The decor gives a sense of airiness and calm. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are super comfy and adjustable. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house for privacy. You have everything you need for a beach vacation. From bicycles and helmets and air pump to beach wagon with beach chairs, beach towels and even sun screen. Walk to a private the beach is exactly 1/3 of a mile. Sara and Kristin have thought of everything to make your stay at this beach house a wonderful experience.

Beautiful and Relaxing Retreat
Hibiscus House is a stunning retreat tucked away in a lovely residential neighborhood in the charming little beach town of Melbourne Beach. Florida is quite hot this time of year but upon stepping inside this home, you're immediately cool and comfortable. The home is open and airy, complete with a good central air conditioner and ceiling fans. This was a working vacation for me so I used the WiFi quite a bit without any issues at all. The pictures on this listing are an accurate representation of this beautifully decorated home. The floors are Parkay - gorgeous and must be original... the real thing. The bedding is plush and very comfortable. The bed in the master is actually adjustable. All linens were fresh and top quality. The kitchen had enough cookware that I was able to prepare anything I needed. The bikes and beach chairs were a great bonus. I rode one of the bikes to the nearby Melbourne Beach Pier to enjoy the sunset. Each morning I walked to the beach for sunrise. I brought my paddleboard on this trip so I drove to the public beach access on Ocean Avenue which is less than two miles from the house. The beach chair came in handy, as did the beach towels - they even provided sun screen! The driveway is located at the rear of the home. I was able to bring my paddleboard inside as the back room is where they keep the bikes, a beach tent, the beach towels, etc. There was plenty of room for my board - which is 11' long so I didn't have to worry about it. There is an outdoor shower which made it easy to clean my board and get the sand off of me before coming in the house. This is an exceptionally quiet getaway. You see neighbors walking by and riding by on bikes, some with young children. It just feels good - so much so that you can imagine living here. Lastly, along Ocean Avenue are some neat little restaurants, a liquor store, and the amazing Melbourne Beach Supermarket with all kinds of international fare and a HUGE wine inventory. One the west end of Ocean Avenue is the Indian River and the east end is the ocean. There's a great playground, the little town hall, a historic house, the fire department - it's simply as charming as charming can be. I'm pretty familiar with this area so I can truly say, this VRBO is a gem. The only problem, you won't want to leave.
