Location was nice and property was decent. Some of the outdoor humidity seeped into apartment under sliding glass door which caused rug to be a bit damp

Pool and beach access were great. Condo was adequate for 2 adults. I couldn’t get the tv to work until I replaced the batteries myself. The condo was too hot but we couldn’t lower the thermostat more because the instructions said anything below 72 might break the ac. The vertical blinds didn’t work. I let the office know but they couldn’t help since Vacasa managed the condo. Vacasa was willing to send out maintenance but I was unwilling to waste my vacation time on waiting especially since the building office said the previous tenant had complained about the broken vertical blinds. Vacasa made no effort to offer any kind of rebate because of the blinds even though we could not get full privacy at night. Because of the issue with the blinds that Vacasa knew about I would consider contacting Tuckaway directly when we go back there but I won’t use Vacasa again.

I loved the location and the access to the beach. We would go down to the beach with our chairs and experience the sunset. The condo complex had a great 60's vibe and was kept up very well. The condo is small, but clean. Everything you need is there, including beach chairs and beach toys. We are in our 70's and the stairs to the third floor didn't bother us. Great little condo for the money.

The condo was adequate for two people. However, the vertical blinds were broken - would not rotate or open/close. I contacted the office. He said that condo was one of just a few with a different owner and he could not help me. He did say that the previous occupant had also complained about the vertical blinds being broken and I should call Vacasa - which I did. They offered to send out maintenance but I said that I had no intention of wasting our valuable time with our granddaughter and her family waiting for maintenance to show up and then be told what I already knew - the blinds needed to be replaced. Vacasa folks were kind but I felt they should have offered some level of compensation since those blinds clearly had been broken for some time. The property has great access to the beach and a great pool. It's clearly an older property but has been updated nicely. From what I can see Vacasa is the one failing to do its job by fixing broken items.

Great beach, great restaurants nearby Would have liked the option of a beach view balcony, though this option was not discussed in their listing and should have been. Plus we were put on the 3rd floor with stairs as the only option. Handicap renters would have been unable to negotiate the walk up plus management didn't offer any assistance in bringing luggage to the room

The condo was so cozy and the beach was calm and not busy at all. We had a great time looking for seashells, watching the pelicans, and relaxing. The room was stocked with all the regular amenities and felt like home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back again.

The location was nice and easy to get into from the street. The stairs were steep for me, some of the pans weren't the cleanest, the pullout bed and couch were not comfortable had to put the mattress on the floor.... Also the washing machine took 45 min.... Simple updates are needed.

One electric plug doesn’t work by bed, sink in bedroom drains very slow, small burner on stove doesn’t work. Not user friendly for older adult; no elevator.

Ok for people that don’t have issues with stairs. There is NO ELEVATOR going up stairs is one thing but they are steep and w luggage and waters ect it’s hard. I brought my 83yo mother and she’s very active but has a arthritic knee and stairs aren’t a major issue but she became confined to room after 2 days . Other wise the stay was nice the room was clean and I would recommend to young couples and will return with my husband just not with an elder.

Had a nice little getaway with my boo. The location was great, right on the beach. Our unit was pleasantly clean and ready upon arrival. We enjoyed cooking our own meals. I only wished we had an oven with the stove. But it was everything we needed

We really enjoyed our stay at Tucked Away. The atmosphere and was perfect with a vintage feel, but modern and complete. Everything we needed was right there, including the beach. Hope a room is available next time we travel here.

Such a cute place! The couch was not the couch in the pics so it must be new..it was was so comfy. The only complaints… the bathtub was not cleaned very well (lots of sand), there was no balcony access but still could see the beach and the pool was extremely hot. We still enjoyed every second of the stay and will be back. Close to town and loved the beach access.

This was my family’s second time back in three years at Tuckaway Shores. Happened to be in the same unit as well. We absolutely love it here! You can be on the beach or at the pool in however long it takes you to get down the stairs. The beach is perfect. Beautiful sand, warm water and so quiet you feel like it’s your own private beach. Our room faced south but you can see the ocean from it. If you slide open the three glass window panels you can hear the waves crashing on the shore. Our ONLY gripe about the room was the lack of forks in the kitchen. There were only two forks supplied and we’re a family of four. Plenty of spoons and knives though. Maybe a previous guest took the forks home as a souvenir. Who knows? It wasn’t a big deal and we made due. Can’t wait to return next year!

Perfect location for a beach getaway. We did get a tow warning on my car while I waited in the office to check in. Only 2 forks, just one small pan, no umbrella, no beach towels, could use more than 1 garbage bag for 4 days, but all minor.

Pricey for what it offered

Location was just what I needed for weekend wedding and great beach access. It wasn’t clear this was a unit not managed by on-site staff. I arrived after midnight and woke up poor on-site staff because instructions not clear and no parking. Room was good size. Dishes and coffee pot were dirty. I had to scrub coffee pot multiple times before it could use. Harder since no sponge provided. Left them me dishwasher soap pods - only there’s no dishwasher. Only glasses are plastic and many were cracked and couldn’t use. Two of the four mugs also cracked and unusable. I thought it was an okay space but way overpriced for how dirty and broken I found some of the basics on the room to be.

Close to beach, beach chairs and umbrella provided. On third floor, no elevator. Very uncomfortable bed. Unit was clean except pans which were dirty when I arrived, had to buy a scrubber and clean them before being able to use them.

The unit was very clean and the location was fantastic but the toilet ran the whole time, and we couldn’t get hot water for more than 1 shower. Also, the clean towels were damp when we arrived
