Place was so cute cozy had plenty of space for our family . Very well stocked kitchen !! Hot tub was a relaxing bonus . Although close to town I recommend car not walkable roads are busy with no paved sidewalks . !! Will be back !

My husband and I like to take a quick trip to Nashville Indiana each summer to to shut down. This property was perfectly located. We were able to walk everywhere and only had to drive when we went someplace outside of downtown. It was clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed both the hot tub, firepit and how comfortable it is. We will definitely see if this place is available every time we go to Nashville.

Perfect location between downtown Little Nashville and Hard Truth Hills. Property was clean and had everything anyone could need. Luckily we didn’t forget anything but if we had, we wouldn’t have needed to buy it. Our kids loved all the games at the house as well.

The cottage was just as described. Immaculate interior with every single supply you could think of, and then some!! Communication with host was easy and timely! Location is super convenient to down town Brown County and the state park. My ONLY issue is that you could hear the road noise when you were in the yard or the hot tub. Definitely not a major issue, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet..you may be a little disappointed. The convenience of the cottage location outweighed this minor concern. The hot tub was great and my kids loved it. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would stay here again!

We spent a wintery weekend at the cottage with our kids and grandkids. Everything needed was supplied including sleds for the kids. The kitchen is large and a great gathering place for family meals. Close to both shops and park trails. This is our third visit and we will be back.

It was perfect for what we wanted, which was a relaxing trip for a few girlfriends. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the cottage is. They really did think about every little detail, and we appreciated it. Will definitely be returning guests in the future.

The outside of the property looks a little run down but the inside is super cute! Perfect for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the covered patio hot tub and the complimentary robes they left for us to use. Near downtown Nashville, IN with easy access to all desired attractions.

The house was very clean, updated and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom not handicap accessible. No outside light by entrance door. Biggest disappointment was the house advertised that it sleeps 10. We were charged 30.00 a night per person above 2. There were only 6 of us. No where in the contract does it say that there is a charge of 30.00 per night per person above 2!

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience. Cleanest house we have stayed in! Beautifully decorated house in a quiet setting with a short walk to the center of Nashville. Very roomy for a large family and the kitchen had everything and then some. Check in was very easy and the hosts responded immediately when I had a question. We will be re-booking here again soon.

Cottage was just as described! Clean and the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in-the host has thought of everything! We enjoyed the cute little signs inside and the decorations for fall outside the rental-making it very homey feeling! Easy walk to town (only a short section of the road without sidewalks). We thought one bathroom would be an issue but found it doable since we didn’t have a schedule! We will defiantly be back!

Very nice space to bring our college son for a night of rest and some time to visit. My husband loved the easy drive to Brown County State Park for hiking and proximity to downtown Nashville for breakfast and a little shopping. Wish we had more time to enjoy the horse shoes and hot tub.

The size of the house was ample for our family of seven. I was worried about having only one bathroom for that many people, but we made it work. An eat in kitchen, made it good for being together during meal prep. It was nicely stocked, which made it easy for us to eat in and dine out when we wanted to. We enjoyed the fire pit one night, and was treated to the local high school band as they played for home football game. The location was really nice. A short walk up the hill put us in the middle of downtown Nashville, and very short drive the other way got you to the local distillery, and the Nashville Playhouse. This was a nice place for our families Labor Day weekend getaway. We could have easily stayed a few more days.

Loved all the extras you don’t normally see in homes to stay in. Everything from bug spray, wood for the fire pit, lots of towels, lots of supplies for the kitchen, games, awesome well arranged back porch with hot tub. Too much to write down. I would highly recommend choosing this place for a getaway.

This was the 2nd time we booked Harper Valley for a winter getaway. The cottage was a wonderful home away from home. Everything you needed was supplied and more. The location is walking distance from town and a short drive to Brown County State Park. We had our grandkids with us. They enjoyed playing the games provided and the gas fireplace. Highly recommend.

We had a Brown County Wedding and this was a perfect house for the Bride’s family to stay to prep. The bathroom was large and perfect for wedding prep, and the kitchen and fire pit were the perfect place for a small private rehersal chili bar for the family. We already plan to come back for our anniversary next year!
