About this house rental

Location location. This cozy colonial is nestled in the center of Old Forge Village. No need to drive!! You can walk or bicycle to everything as town is at an arms reach. Has 5 bedrooms with two full bathrooms. Below I have listed the bedrooms accommodations.

-Master bedroom has a king size bed.
-2nd bedroom has a queen size bed
-3rd bedroom has twin beds
-4th bedroom has a full bed. -
-5th bedroom has twin beds.
*Sheets & towels are provided!!
* Garbage must be taken with you. Can be discarded at the local transfer station.

Downstairs provides a large living room, dining room, half bathroom, laundry room and eat in kitchen which has island seating. There is a dining room table that will comfortably seat six people. There is a closed in front porch and the flat rear yard has a picnic table, BBQ grill, Adirondack chairs and a fire pit.

3 night minimum stay on summer weekends!! 2 night minimum during the week. Discounts for 7 nights or longer. Ask me about fall deals, I’ll work with you to make your getaway come true.

My daughter and daughters in love and their young children and girls yearly get together. This property was so close and with in walking distance of most everything we wanted to visit. It was so cold and raining most of the time so we were in the house a lot of the time. We are very thankful for our host helping us and communicating quickly with us.

We decided to take the kids to water safari and this house was perfect for two families to use! 4 bedrooms upstairs and a daybed in the living room. The house was clean and spacious. It’s nice there was a fire pit and chairs. We loved how close it was located… especially with the coffee shop less than a block away! The owner responded to messages very quickly which was a huge plus. 9 people fit in the house comfortably.

We had an excellent stay and such a fun, relaxing time. There were things we forgot, but quickly found there were many things already stocked up for our use which was so helpful. The location was perfect, just a block walk to town stores and close to Water Safari. Beds were comfortable and ACs in each bedroom kept it very cool for sleeping at night. The home is very welcoming and clean. We loved the dart board!!! Jay is super responsive to any questions and needs and it made for a seamless stay. We can’t wait to do it again next summer and plan to stay again! Thanks!!!

Home away from home. Many amenities not even listed! Kudos to the owner! Trouble lighting the electric start grill, had to use a lighter- never got up to temp. Luckily, we brought a very small charcoal grill👍 Bedrooms are very comfortable but do not have curtains. Wooden Blinds are beautiful but dont block out the bright early sunshine or street light. Overall stay still very high!!!

There were two families of four on this trip, including four children. The bedroom setups were perfect for our party and there were noticeable updates throughout the house which were nice. It should be noted that this house is NOT a two bathroom property. There is a full (nicely renovated) bathroom on the top floor and a small half bath on the main floor. I would not have booked this property for eight people had I known there were not two full baths. The listing is misleading. Other things to note are the lack of linens (while noted in the description is still not typical for properties in this price range) and lack of any basic amenities such as toilet paper and garbage bags in the house. Bring everything you need as nothing is provided. Finally, there is no place for garbage which should also be noted in the property listing. You are required to take all garbage accumulated during your stay to a local transfer station. This was not a huge deal but should be noted somewhere so guests are aware. Jay was very easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions. Check in and out was seamless. Old Forge is a great town and despite some of things noted here we had a great time!

The house is located less than a block away from Ozzie's coffee shop. It was a block to the Candy Cottage. Loved Old Forge. Great for a short getaway with kids. They have a movie theater, beach, water park, shops, hiking, and arcade. Enough to keep the kids busy for 4 days. The house was clean and as described. My only complaint was that the one bedroom does not have a/c and got hot the first night. Would stay again!

Jay responds very quickly with any questions. We loved the location, it was nice to be able to walk to almost everything. The house is set up very nicely for hanging out with family. Love the large dining table. We had a great stay!

This house is dead center just around the corner from Ozzies coffee house. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need! Lots of bed space, fire pit, Bicycles, picnic table. I was even pleasantly surprised to have Netflix and Hulu! The owner is very quick to reply to any questions and reached out first before I even asked about the check in AND check out procedures!! I rent every single year and have never had an owner that was so easy to message!

If you are looking for a house right in the heart of town, this is it! The location couldn't be better, walking distance to all attractions, shopping, food, water park, mini-golf, beach, etc. A short drive to other local restaurants and the surrounding lakes. Jay the owner was wonderful to communicate with, quick responses and very accommodating.

Great get away with the family

Great get away with the family

This home is tucked away on a side street near a little diner and the candy cottage. It’s perfect walking distance to everything in the town of Webb. Jay is very responsive and quick to communicate. We had 4 adults and 6 kids that were able to make great memories together then relax at the end of the day. Having a full kitchen was so nice. Having a washer and dryer was definitely a game changer for us!! There are not many accessible outlets as the home is older so having a charging station to charge multiple electronics was helpful for us. I highly recommend renting from Jay for your next vacation!!

The location was great and within walking distance to all the shops in Old Forge. The kitchen was beautiful, with nice decor throughout the home. There was a nice picnic table for outdoor dining. Our family had a great time while staying here!

Adirondack getaway

Adirondack getaway

The house was nice, clean & comfortable, close to the Main Street through Old Forge. Jay was great and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed our visit to the Adirondacks with some paddle boarding on the nearby lake and hiking - the house was a nice “home away from home” to come back to at the end of the day.

Good open floor plan, newly renovated for the most part. Walking distance to everything in town. Plenty of off street parking. Definitely will look into brining the family up here.
