Our family chose this because of the pictures of how the water looks off the back deck- and it was exactly as advertised. Inside of house was clean and comfortable. Back deck and kayaks were well used. Very responsive host and was able to accommodate our delayed check out. We hope to be back!

We love staying here and came back with the family for the second year in a row, everyone had so much fun on the WW River! The house is perfect for entertaining a larger group and we hope to return again- thanks to the host for another great trip!

The house is perfect for a group, kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Second refrigerator was a bonus for storing beverages. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided enough privacy and comfort for everyone. We all loved being able to hop in the kayaks and go for extended paddles in either direction. The water is perfectly clear and cool with a ton of wildlife. We saw deer, turkey, a bobcat, birds, fish, manatee, turtle, otter, crab - amazing! Having a thermacell on the dock at dusk allowed us to keep the mosquitos at bay. We loved sitting on the dock morning and evening to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Was one of the best places we have been! The house was clean and had plenty of room for all of us. The spring was in the back yard and easily accessible. We saw all kinds of wild life. Birds, fish, an otter, and at least 3 manatees. There are so many things to do that we will have to come back!

Upon entering the home I noticed no recliners as pictured in advertisement. We were needing at least one recliner for an elderly 89 yo grandfather to sleep in. Everything else was spot on. We enjoyed the entire time.
Washing machine made horrible noise and jumped around as if possessed in the spin cycle.
Plenty of room for everyone, loved the dock, river and kayaks. Love the quiet neighborhood.
The master bedroom was the warmest room in the house. (Please fix this issue). There was an issue with a/c airflow in the master bedroom only. We had to keep the rest of the home cooler just so we could sleep comfortably. We also had to run a box fan just to sleep comfortably. The door that leads to the deck from the Florida room did not close without a lot of effort and muscle. Older people and the children could not close it, therefore my spouse and I were responsible for keeping it closed and that was annoying to say the least. That door was used numerous times in a day! ( please fix this issue) Hopefully it will be fixed along with the washing machine. We want to return next year and are hoping a few things will be fixed. The floors are uneven so the grandfather had to be careful. The wild life as described in advertisement was spot on also. We appreciate no large parties or loud people. It was very relaxing and enjoyable overall.

It was perfect for a group of 6. Enough bathrooms for everyone. The placement of this house is definitely prime. We had to bring more kayaks/paddle-boards because there was only 4. The kitchen is great but bring your dish soap, dishwasher soap, detergent, toilet paper, hand towels, and garbage bags. Two of the bathroom did not have toilet paper. The place is clean and very quiet. Good communication with the owner. We all loved this place.

Beautiful location on the river. Quiet area with just a few houses. Perfect "kids room" on one side of the house. Loved seeing the deer, turkey and manatees everyday. Truely a paradise!

We have stayed in Weeki several times and it never disappoints! Amy is a wonderful host and I would highly recommend this house to any one visiting Weeki Wachi … it’s nice , located on the water, and has everything you need :)

This is the perfect house for our group. We know several neighbors and just have a fun girl weekend. Thanks for sharing this house. Our dear friend who has passed away owned this house so very special to us. The deer, turkeys, manatees, birds (no gators or snakes-thank goodness) were an added bonus.
Hope to see you soon.

There are so many things I want to say about this property …. And so I will. Firstly, we pulled in (off an unexpected dirt road), which made us know we were in the genuine off path Weeki Wachee house. We were greeted by 7 turkey and 7 deer hanging out in front of the house. It was AMAZING. Walking into the house itself was nothing less than impressive, immaculately clean and well designed. One of the most upgraded homes we have stayed at on Weeki and we stay there at least 3x a year. Our host Amy was amazing and responded almost instantly to any inquiring , allowing us to check in early and check out late (offseason mind you so don’t be too expectant in the future). The deck out back seemed brand new and I love that it was a rubber wooden substitute rather than wood itself so it wasn’t rough or slippery! The river was unbelievable, like I can’t express my amazement enough with the peaceful views. We saw at least 4 manatees off the doc and one of the adolescents seemed to just hang out off the back off the house with us for 3 days (we named him Joseph). The bedrooms are generously sized and everyone (with 3 couples) had their own bathrooms. The only thing I will advise is that if you are in any of the bedrooms besides the master and require tv to sleep, bring your own Roku or fire stick to plug in, all rooms have TVS but do not have smart tv! Anyways !Save your research and just book this property, I feel spoiled now and don’t think I can book anywhere else in the future.

Stayed with family for our son's first birthday and everyone had the best time, lots to explore and beautiful nature and wildlife all around us! We already booked for next year and can't wait to be back on the river with loved ones.

Beautiful house and location. Lots of wildlife. Only have one issue---theres a moldy, mildewy smell in the kitchen cabinets. This is not a problem that would keep me from staying here again. We had a wonderful time.

The house location is amazing! Amy was responsive and went out of her way to be helpful. The house itself was set up perfect for 2 families with kids/teens. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great vacation.

This is the perfect place to rest and relax while enjoying the beautiful Weeki Wachee River. During our wonderful visit, we were blessed with seeing lots of wildlife first hand. The deer would come and feed every morning and night, and one was even curled up on the next door lawn sleeping. I think Snow White lives next door and she provides them with lots of love of goodies. We also got to see several turkey, rabbits, turtles, manatees, and otters. It is truly a magical place. We had 3 boys with us who also loved every minute of their stay. The kayaks where easily accessible and so much fun. I can’t say enough great things about this gem of a place. I live in the area and can’t wait to visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location of this home was even better than I expected! It truly has the best location on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the wildlife and paddlers. We saw manatees every day we were there, birds, deer, turkeys, and even a river otter. We were able to swim and launch the kayaks right from the deck. The house was spacious enough for our family and was stocked with all of the kitchen accessories we needed to make meals while there. It was in a private/quiet location but within a short drive to the grocery stores and into town.

This was the perfect spot to rent on the river. Super quiet neighborhood and lots of nature to see. Turkeys, deer, and a variety of species of birds. It was cold when we were here, but that let us see lots of manatees. The house is wonderful and the host was quick to respond. We will definitely be back again in the future. One of the best VRBO rentals ever!

The best weekend ever with some greats friends. Enjoyed the view & river morning, new & night. Saw deer, turkeys, hawks, woodpecker, turkeys & manatees. Everyone on the River was very pleasant-they would see us when they were going up the River & we would still be sitting there when they came back down the River. Already trying to figure when we can go again. It was also a treasure to us that we new the previous owner (who has since passed). THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT WEEK.

Ultimate spot to unwind and relax
The house and property are well maintained and located on the spring. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck by the water. We brought our paddle boards to explore the river and saw several manatee and lots of birds and fish. There were deer and turkeys to see in the yard every day as well. This home is located in a nature lovers paradise!

This place is so relaxing!
This is second time we have stayed here. We came back because it’s so relaxing and welcoming! The river is hard to beat and having access to it is so convenient. We paddled the river and floated back every day. There’s nothing quite like the Weeki Wachee! The house was just as cozy as last year. It was a great experience!

Great spot on the river
Our third time back - excellent location in a small quiet community close to the park boundary. Enjoy the deck and watch the fish and birds go by. So easy to kayak up to the state park or down to Rogers Park. Swim off dock - there is a current. House has well stocked kitchen, bring your personal and paper products. Deer, turkey, lots of wildlife. We also visited Weeki Wachee State Ptk and Weeki Wachee Preserve for some hiking. Communication with owner is excellent. Looking forward to returning again - we went first as a couple, then brought granddaughters and family on 2nd trip and us alone again for anniversary trip. 3rd bedroom is great for the kids. Highly recommend!
Noseeums can be bad so come prepared with bug spray, citronella etc. and antihistamine.

Property is in a beautiful peaceful spot on the river. This is our second visit to this property. It is beach charming. We love the kayaks and easy access to the river. We appreciate the quiet of this particular area. Also, we noticed the WiFi was much better this time around. We do recommend!

Location location location
The location is perfect. The river is at your back door. This is a perfect rental for 4 adults and 4 children. The home is an older Florida river concrete block home. It is very clean but a bit dated. The kitchen is functional and clean but may surprise folks expecting a higher-end kitchen. The king bed was very comfortable. The living room pictures, at time of booking, showed reclining sofas that have been replaced with new not reclining sofas. There is a Publix close by to pick up supplies. Take the time to sit on the deck early morning and at sunset to watch the manatees, turkeys, cranes, woodpeckers, and deer. The neighborhood is peaceful. I would rent this again.

Great river location
This was our 2nd time staying at this home and we’ve already booked our 3rd. One of cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed at. Well supplied kitchen. Bunk bedroom was great for daughter and her family who stay up later as it’s away from rest of bedrooms. Saw deer - including adorable fawn, turkey, gopher tortoise. The location upriver away from the busy Rogers Park area is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding to the quieter state park area; the larger boats don’t come up that far. We went up to state park park and also down to Rogers Park. Boat launch is close if you want to go to gulf. Swimming off dock is great. Granddaughter enjoyed the fishing too. Miss the mermaids and boat tour at the state park-hope they reopen soon. Hiked and geo-cached a bit in Weeki Preserve. Went out to eat at ZigZag Scallop-delicious meal! But the attraction here is the river and the location. Excellent communication with owner. Can’t wait to come back in Feb. Do bring bug repellent and be prepared for no-see-ums. We bring a pop up screen gazebo when we go to river or lake VRBOs that don’t have a screen room.
