Ok, nicht mehr nicht weniger. Keinesfalls das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss nehmen.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel mit vielen Pflanzen.

Leider sah unser Zimmer anders aus als auf den Fotos. Zudem erhielten wir das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, so der Lärm der Eingangstüre sowie der Treppe störend waren. In der Nacht polterten die Hunde zudem an die Tür, so dass zusätzlicher Lärm entstand. Als wir nach einem Zimmerwechsel fragten, meinte Silvia es sei alles besetzt - am gleichen Abend waren zwei Zimmer immernoch frei.

Nice place but very cold without any heating

We liked the place, location, staff friendliness, a bit less the fact the bathrooms were just being renovated, but it did not pose much of a problem. The room and common areas were nice, clean and cozy apart from the fact everywhere there was no heating, a very cold room and bathrooms were not ok. We complained, but the owners said the airconditioners got broken during the vulcanic eruption and are not working.

We really liked everything apart from the heating being broken - coming with the motorbike (riding in cold weather gets to your bones) to a cold room and unable to heat it at all took a great toll on both of us - we got sick with a bad cold and took a long time to get better.

Me gustó que es una casa de estilo señorial bastante cuidada en cuanto a detalles y muy acogedora

Que el baño fuese exterior y que crujiese tanto la madera al caminar. También se escuchaba mucho el ruido de las puertas de otras habitaciones

La habitación no tiene baño dentro. Hay que recorrer toda la casa y un pallo enorme para llegar al cuarto de baño

Typical canarian house as a hostel

Casa Jurado is a typical old rustical canarian house. It is very cozy and it was very nice place to stay. There is shared kitchen, so if you need to cook or prepar some meal, it is very ok. The room itself was as well nice with large bed.

I was surprised with "own bathroom" - i mean that is true that you have your own bathroom, but it is not in same room, actually it is on same floor but on the opposite side of the house and on the door i think there is no lock. But bathroom was clean and provided with towels :-)

Superb

Beautiful house. The bed was really really comfortable. We had our own private bathroom, although it's separate from the bedroom. Ester was very accomodating and pleasant. Would have liked to spend more time here.

Good location, simple but sufficient

The Hostel is well located and it’s a beautiful building. The are not too many beds in one dormitory. The kitchen was well equipped.

It was not clean. I was there for 3 days and the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned during that time. Also the carbage can overflowed. There is no parking in front of the hostel and you need to find something by your own. I didn’t see the swimming pool.

Very clean and quiet hostel, great location, big kitchen.

A bit too quiet, not a typical hostel where you can socialize with other travelers and share stories. The staff was nice but didn't speak much English.

Superb

The room (queen size bed) and the house are beautiful, lots of charm, pretty old furniture, comfortable bed. Kitchen is very well equipped.

The only thing is that the bathroom is not next to the room but on the other side of the house, wasn't that clear from the ad. Also the key didn't work the best to lock it but it wasn't a big problem.

Location and facilities were good. Typical old house converted into a hostel.

The beds were not clean and the lady charged us the third bed (we requested that) but outside booking, without any discount.

I was in the room With the queensizebed. Recommend it. Very special. Rooms have private bathrooms. Kitchen very bit. Everything very clean. Very central. Quiet also big living room.

Exceptional

We had a great and very comfortable stay at Casa Jurado. It's a good base for hiking trips in the nearby national park. Also you can reach in only 3 minutes walk the bus 300 that takes you to the capital Santa Cruz or the other direction to Los Llanos. The room was very clean and comfortable due to nice wooden furniture. The matress was very good. Also comfortable living room. Prices hard to beat. Omar (the hostel owner) and stuff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to both!

Strange place

Location in the very centre. Authentic old house turned into a hostel. You will like it if you want to have a feeling of living in somebody's home with other people. Not a typical hostel.

Noisy. Single room sleeping only with earplugs. Sounds from kitchen, corridor, neighbouring rooms travel far. Bizarre people living there. Shared bathroom - it was not clear from the description when I booked.

It's a great house, with an awesome atmosphere to feel like home! The owner and the care taker are always kind and ready to help. The kitchen is well-provided and the bed super comfy! El Paso is quite small, but a good place to start hiking and an amazing view on the sea and the mountains!
