Amazing suite in the Village Lodge resort.

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor unit with balcony overlooking the shops and restaurants on Minaret Road (Hwy 203) in the heart of the Village at Mammoth.
The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.

One of the bedrooms is an en suite (private bathroom). The unit accommodates up to 8 people in your choice of 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full and an additional pullout queen sofa in living room. The suite is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some suites in the village claim to be ski in/ski out but, here it is more like ride the gondola out and ski back. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. Other nearby paid parking is available as well.

The Village gondola is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk across the street to the free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge.

In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. Our balcony looks over Minaret Road so there's always good people watching. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more.

The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the first floor with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of unit includes all the resort amenities including Free Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 3 fitness centers. Our building (White Mountain Lodge) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests.

The entire building is handicap accessible and we are near the elevator so it is very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!

The suite is a few steps from Vida Coffee serving some of the best coffee and treats on the mountain. It just doesn't get any more convenient than this. They have great breakfast items and pastries to fuel you up for the day.

The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!

The suite is located in the heart of the village (above the New York Deli Restaurant) so you can be part of just about everything. That does mean a little more noise on the weekends and holidays, but that's Mammoth Village.

We arrived after a long commute due to a snow storm, 2 am, after 10 hours on the road. The entry to the unit is controlled via a key fob located in a lock box next to the door. Blaming it 100% on myself and the sleep depravity, but locked in the key fob as I went down to get our sleeping kids from the car only to find out no way to get back in! Luckily was able to get a room at the lodge and next morning all was well. Property manager was kind enough to communicate with me in the middle of the night and they were so kind to comp one night for us and gave us an extra day too! Very thoughtful and our trip was wonderful. Location is great, 5 min walk to gondola and restaurants in the village. You can actually ski down on village trail and it takes you to a bridge that is adjacent to property, dont take trail if you snow board as its a green and lots of flats. Our kids loved the bunk beds, our bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable but we are used to memory foam beds/pillows. Would be nice if TVs were able to stream, but they do have direct tv. Would recommend and stay again!

The check-in/location/cleanliness was all great! Only complaint is the listing is misleading in saying that there is heat, when there is no way for the unit to control the heat. It was extremely warm in the unit at night and the instructions say to open the windows or the patio door.

Property was as described in listing. Great proximity to everything in the village and the Village Ski Back Trail (which was nice for the end of the day). Beds were comfortable, appreciated the humidifier availability for our young infant as well. Clean suite & was a comfortable location to call home for the weekend!

Location, location, location. Comfortable beds, super clean, well equipped kitchen. Only negative would be the noise from the parties. Sound sleepers will be fine. Maybe bring a noise machine. Not a deal breaker. Would stay here again.

Overall good, but unit was not the nicest one we have stayed in the Villages. The owners were informative and have their system dialed in. Very easy to check in, park and check out. Unit had everything needed in kitchen and was overall clean. The bunk beds were great for our kids! The porch was nice, but a bit crowded with furniture and had a lot of dirt on it. Needs a sweep/cleaning. As always, access to restaurants, pool, activities is great. Staff is helpful and friendly. A lot to like about the Villages but years of use have taken their toll. Folks smoking on patios and dogs in the hallways One note about this unit was that the street noise was significant.. in particular as the city wakes up around 7 - delivery trucks, barking dogs waiting for their people outside the bagel shop. We have stayed on the courtyard side as well and the noise is similar, just a different time of day.

Great location, clean and comfortable! Road noise because units bedroom windows are located on the main road. Also people yelling at 1:30 in the morning so keep windows closed! Could use hangers in the closet...only 2!

Really nice 2BR on the quiet (i.e. back) side of The Village Lodge. Convenient to everything. We hopped on the Red Line bus just across the street, to Main Lodge, to ski every day (Canyon Lodge is shut down for the rest of the season – late spring – so the Village Gondola wasn't operating; not a problem, the bus is great). We took advantage of the spacious hot tub (shared) after skiing every day. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean, cozy and warm in near zero temperatures. I really liked the underground parking and the locker room to store your snowboard/ski equipment. Downstairs there are shops, bars, restaurants that we really enjoyed. The property manager was great! They were responsive to the only issue we had with the place and fixed the problem with ease. Safe to say we'll be back!

The Mammoth Gran Fondo bike ride starts and finishes at The Village. Everything we needed was right there! The home was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. I have a high profile vehicle and was able to park directly across the street. Check-in was easy, one room key was in the lockbox exactly as described and two additional keys were on the kitchen counter. I’ll be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home 😊

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Village, the food, the room, and the over all vibe was great. The only down side to staying in the summer is the heat! We couldn’t get the rooms or condo to cool off at all! But would stay again in the winter.

The unit itself is great. Two comfortable bedrooms and two nice bathrooms, and nice kitchen as described. The view out of the window is pretty. The nice thing about the location is you are in Mammoth Village which has a bunch of restaurants and stores. The downside is that this location is not the quiet get away you think of for Mammoth. The street outside is relatively noisy, though it was quiet by midnight. The other downside is that the entire building is very hot. We had to sleep with the windows open every night. Overall it is a good place to stay.

Mammoth village is a perfect location and our vrbo hosts made this a perfect family getaway. 2 Bdrm/ 2 bath with underground parking and elevator! Could use some basics or salt snd pepper but all the pots, pans, towels, soaps you could ask for . Great vrbo property snd hosts.
