About this apartment rental
Amazing unit in the Village Lodge resort.
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath second floor corner unit with large balcony in the heart of the village clock-tower square. (Literally in the clock-tower) The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.
2 Bedrooms are en suites. (private bathrooms) The suite accommodates up to 11 people in your choice of 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Bunk-bed with a full, twin and full trundle mattress and a pullout queen sofa in living room. The suite is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some suites claim to be ski in/ski out but it is more like ride the gondola out and ski back. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. Other nearby parking is available as well for an overnight fee.
The Village gondola, which takes you to Canyon Lodge, is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk across the street to the last free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge.
In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. Our balcony looks over the Clock-tower Square so there's always something fun to see and lots of people watching. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more.
The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the first floor with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of unit includes all the resort amenities including Free Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 3 fitness centers. Our building (White Mountain Lodge) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests.
The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!
We are close to the elevator so its very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!
Vida Coffee is about 30 steps from the elevator:) just below this suite. It just doesn't get any more convenient than this. They have great breakfast items and pastries to fuel you up for the day.
The unit is located in the heart of the village square (above the Lakanuki Restaurant) so you can be part of just about everything. The suite faces the main interior courtyard leading to the pool area that does mean a more noise on the weekends and holidays. Refunds are not provided for noise complaints.

Great place with a lot of space! Prime location in the heart of the village. We were blessed by the stay and the easy check in/out process. We are leaving for Texas and this was a great last minute trip to enjoy our favorite place to visit as a family. Thank you again for blessing us with your place. God bless

We loved this location--easy access to everything in the village, underground parking for our car which made it easy for us to take our car for activities during the day, and plenty of space for the family in the unit.

The property is impressive. Located in the center of the village in the iconic clock tower.

I loved this condo and location. Lots of room for our party of 7. We had a great time. I cant wait to go back!

This property was perfectly suited for our needs. This was a family trip with my wife and I, our adult son and his wife, and their two children. Every aspect of the experience was fantastic. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and close proximity to restaurants, a small market, and of course, the gondola. Highly recommend this location. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home!

The condo was very clean, cozy and stocked with everything you need for your vacation. We had a wonderful time in and it is a few steps away from the gondola. We can't wait to go back and stay in this condo again and again!

The place was very clean and location was amazing walking distance to everything. My family enjoyed so much.

We ski a lot; this is probably the best condo we have ever stayed in. It is smack dab in the middle of the village. Busses arrive every 20 minutes to any location, and the gondola is steps away. Pizza, coffee, BBQ, tacos, massages, gear; all steps away. Covered parking, just an elevator ride away.

We were all very happy with this beautiful townhouse. The interior was very nicely decorated and it was wonderful having three bathrooms, one for each bedroom. However, there was an issue with parking.
The unit does have one free parking space, but my family had three vehicles since everyone came from different out of town locations. The public parking across the street was $50 for overnight parking. Fortunately for us, while at dinner we met a restaurant owner who said we could park in his business lot overnight, otherwise parking would have added another $400 to our trip. Given that, I would highly recommend staying here only if you have one vehicle or if you don't mind paying ridiculous prices for parking.
Also, we tried several different restaurants in the Village. The only one we would recommend is the Old New York Deli. All of the other restaurants were either way overpriced or had horrible food.

Awesome condo with tons of space inside, perfect location with respect to things to do and proximity to the mountain. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because the Lakanuki is directly below the condo. It’s mentioned in reviews but should be noted in the ad itself. The bar plays music until 2am daily and the bass is audible throughout all bedrooms. It’s not insanely loud but certainly noticeable.

Great condo with an excellent roomy floor plan. It worked perfectly for our family and enjoyed the Jazz fest in the Village right below us. We were there during a very hot weekend and didn’t notice the unit does not have central A/C. That was our fault for not checking, but would advise bringing fans if you are traveling during the heat. Also, noise machines for the bar located below the unit since we kept the windows open. But all in all a good stay and would recommend.

Well maintained condo with a balcony right in the main square.

What a fantastic condo for a Spring Ski trip! The condo was spacious, clean and perfectly located! Parking was easy and we had tons of amenities right at our finger tips! I cant wait to come back again!

Beautiful condo. Very roomy and comfortable. Lulukai restaurant right below condo a little loud. Overall great vacation.
2.0
Even though the write up on the property mentioned that the village can be loud, it did not specify that this unit sits directly above a night club that has loud thumping music every night until 2 AM. If you want sleep, you should not stay here.

We loved it. Exactly as advertised and easy at every step

Like the space, three bedrooms, full kitchen and three baths but it was right above a Tiki bar that went on until 2am. Not sure I realized how loud it would be.

The owner Kelly was absolutely fantastic. Top notch. Place is clean, comfortable, well laid out and just easy and nice. Skiers paradise in terms of the gondola being a stone’s throw, best apre ski bar (Tikis) downstairs and access to anything you need or want within steps. Great and multiple hot tubs, easy underground parking, ski locker, and on and I could go on an on about how much my small group enjoyed our stay. I’m home now and sad to be writing this review. It’s a really great condo. Corner unit with big balcony, as advertised. Thanks again to Kelly. If you’re looking for perfect 3 bdrm ski condo in the village, stop looking. Thanks Kelly.

The layout of the condo was great - super comfortable for 2-3 families with lots of living space and 3 full bathrooms. The location of the condo was close to the elevator and central to the Village which made getting to the gondola, rental shop, and restaurants super convenient. The condo had a large washer and drier and was stocked with everything you would need for your stay.
The only downside is that the condo is located directly above a bar/dance club which gets super loud at night with music and people loitering outside until 2am or later. Also, the condo only comes with one parking pass, and the paid parking lot across the street fills up. Aside from those two issues, it was perfect.

Overall our stay was great! The condo is clean and felt just like home.. perfect location close to the pool and east walk to the gondola.. only complaint would be the noise at night (loud music from restaurant below until closing) . If you sleep soundly, no problem

Nice place great location!

Great condo right in the heart of the Village. Equipped with everything needed and extremely clean.
There is a bar just below the unit so there will indeed be music past midnight, but you’re on vacation so embrace the atmosphere.

The check-in/out process was among the easiest I’ve had. The suite is spacious and great for families or friends trip with plenty of beds and bathrooms. It’s above a Tiki Bar and the outdoor music can be heard inside but it is manageable.

The condo was perfect for our group of six. It was super clean, well stocked, kitchen linens and towels. and the location is perfect. The communication was fast and easy. You will not be disappointed.

The unit was lovely. Very clean and supplied all of our needs. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The location was perfect. We were happy that the unit was further away from the Village stage/event area. Some of our friends stayed near the Village stage/event area and were woken up early in the morning, due to a biking event. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and awesome patio overlooking the village

This is a condo in a place called The Village, which is a main gathering place for Mammoth visitors. This is a 2nd story condo with a deck that looks out on the plaza area. It's a fun place to watch all the activity. There is noise, especially on the weekends, but after Saturday it was fine. The beds/rooms were perfect for our family which was 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of towels and utensils in the kitchen. The pool was very nice and so were the jacuzzis. Overall, really enjoyed our time in this centrally located spot.

Mountain majesty
Mammoth and the surrounding area is often on our list of stops when showing family and friends around California. There is much to do and this location made it easy.

No sleep until 1:00 A.M. unit
Nice property just located above a nightclub. Was informed after booked about noise. Would be nice to know on listing? I am a seasoned traveler. Had earplugs and ran TV has white noise did not work. The Base sound and yelling could not drown out. Had one good night of sleep. Kelly property manager was good in helping.

Near ski lift and local fun! Fun for family.
A good, basic ski condo with comfortable beds, safe parking, ski lockers. etc. Unit was less equipped than some (no coffee maker, no salt and pepper, etc.), but well located for the limited local restaurants, shops, and bars. More of a hike to the gondola than I imagined. Property managers were excellent to work with!

Wonderful place to stay
Five star!!!
6.0
Great place, fantastic location, 1 downside
The apartment was fantastic! Perfect what we were looking for. And a 30 second walk to the gondola.
Plenty of food and drink options right out side the door.
The place was super clean and comfortable.
Parking was super easy.
And the fact they have a locker is a huge huge huge plus!
So what is the down side - The restaurant underneath does play club music now and then at full blast. You can hear that bass.
Also if you are in the bedroom off to the left of the front door as you walk in, patrons walk around the village or from the restaurants some times hang out right there and do the drunk conversation thing, so keep the window closed (I did not as I liked the fresh air honestly)
Most people are not wearing a mask around the village or inside most of the stores. So if you feel uncomfortable then stay inside and order in :)
