About this cabin rental
Experience Historic Wyoming by staying in The Yellowstone Cabin; an authentic Swedish cope one room log cabin in a peaceful park-like setting surrounded by beautiful spruce trees. Enjoy rustic furnishings with an "Old West" feel that offers relaxation, fresh air, lots of starry nights and wide open spaces!
Our one-of-a-kind location is in close proximity to restaurants, shops, museums, art galleries, grocery & convenience stores with a fantastic walk-ability score! Plus, easy access parking.
The Yellowstone Cabin proudly offers a full-size post & beam bed with a small cot-size hide-a-bed love seat, a convenient kitchenette, dining table with stools, bathroom and sitting area.
::PLEASE NOTE:: a full-size bed is smaller than a Queen-size Bed. It is cozy but not super-sized. And, the loveseat hide-a-bed has a 4 inch thick cot-size mattress so it is not super plush! But, it works well if you need a separate bed.
::ALSO.....PLEASE NOTE:: the bathroom does NOT have a sink but the kitchen does!☺
We provide all dinnerware, pots/pans, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, hot plate, small refrigerator, towels and linens.
You will also find a table and chairs for outside seating plus a hammock for lazy afternoons.
Our Cozy & Comfort Log Cabin is centrally located in the historic town of Dubois. We are situated in a quiet, serene location with all the comforts and conveniences close by.
This makes a perfect "base camp" as you explore Dubois and the surrounding areas as well as the Shoshone National Forest, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks!
Discover Wyoming at its Best ~ The Yellowstone Cabin offers an authentic historic experience with the necessary upgrades to make your stay relaxing and refreshing.

If you are looking for peace and quiet away from all the crowds, with a small town atmosphere, this is it. We loved staying in Dubois. It was an hour to 1 1/2 hours to get to GTNP and YNP. We saw wildlife on our drives to and from everyday.
This cabin was clean, comfortable, convenient to the local stuff and just what we needed to settle in for the night in a comfortable bed. Ms. Cathy was so easy to deal with and even met us outside on her property to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
This is perfect for a couple not spending a whoke lot of time other than to sleep and get dressed to leave out early for adventures. Although we didn’t cook or prepare meals, there was certainly supplies there to do so. And even some snacks. We enjoyed eating at the mom and pop shops that were in walking distance in Dubois. There is a restaurant for anything you might be craving and the local watering hole was just perfect for a night cap! I would highly recommend staying here.

It was very nice, clean, everything&more there for us. The host is very sweet, very available for any communication.
We just were expecting a cabin to be more in the vast nature of this area. It is in the town, on a property with other cabins in close proximity.
For some this might be good, as reataurants, coffee shops, gas station etc are in walking distance and bears are probably not coming around. Just that we had nature around us in mind when thinking of a cabin. Maybe our fault.
Overall a wonderful stay.

Love the owners! The property was lovely! Quiet and peaceful! We walked thur town from the location. Found a cute little BBQ place and it was delicious! We ate there quite a bit! It was just enough room for the both of us! The little bunny outside was there everyday! The bed was very comfy! Not a bad ride to any destination we went to!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay exploring the Grand Tetons and the small town of Dubois, Wyoming. Our host had pamphlets and suggestions regarding events in Dubois. We used an ATV to explore Bear Creek Road with scenic views. We also visited several lakes: Brook, Ring , Torrey and Trout Lake. The lakes were beautiful and we photographed a gray wolf, trout, osprey, antelope and other wildlife. We visited the Military Museum on a rainy day. We spent five hours in the museum! We thought it was fantastic. The food was excellent at the Cowboy Cafe and 2Z's BBQ. Dubois is a small town but there is plenty to explore!

The Yellowstone cabin was a perfect location, within walking distance to town and beautifully decorated with a hammock for lazy days or resting after a day of hiking through the Grand Teton National Park! Best cabin and neighbors in Wyoming, would absolutely recommend staying in Cathy & Rick’s cabin and don’t forget to get you a wood carved grizzly bear by Ethan.
Will return!

We had the best stay at Riverside Cabins- Log Lodge! It was everything as described and more. The hosts, Cathy and Rick, met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything needed for a lovely stay. Everything we could need was in the lodge and more. Cathy and Rick were fantastic hosts!
We loved the porch, the heated floors, soaking tub, being located riverside, and having a small group/herd of cute four legged friends visit each morning and evening, easily viewed through our picture window.
The log lodge was awesome and perfect for winter snow fun. We can only imagine the beauty surrounding it in the warmer months. We hope to find out in the future. We are recommending Riverside Cabins- Log Lodge to all of our family and friends!!!

This little cabin couldn’t be cozier or more authentic! Cathy and Rick have gone out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable and provided for. We had mule deer and bunnies right out our window each morning as we were drinking our coffee. A true western experience and within walking distance of everything in town. We couldn’t have asked for more!

This cottage was very good for the two of us. The cabin had everything you needed, comfortable bed, cozily decorated and was perfectly located for trips to town, which is within walking distance, or trips around the local area or Grand Teton. There was a lot of information in the cabin about what is worth seeing or worth doing. Thank you for allowing us to stay here, and we recommend this great cabin to others, and hope we can come again one day.

Overall it was a good experience. The cabin, while very small, is very charming. It's one bed so it' s better as a couples retreat than a family vacation. Beautifully decorated. Beautiful neighborhood

Yellowstone cabin retreat
This cabin was nice and cozy! Cathy did a wonderful job decorating it and making sure all the amenities were there. She gave great recommendations for places to eat in Dubois and places to see. Definitely go to the Cowboy Cafe and drive up the scenic overlook. The views were spectacular!! It is about 80 miles to Yellowstone, but it's a nice drive.
