Smell of damp

Enough room for us.
Smelled musty when we arrived, the bedding felt damp. We had to clean the kitchen prior to use.
We repaired thetv arial as the connector was broken.
I felt it was advertised as a four bedroom house, to get information such as parking, non existent, bathroom, through the kitchen WC also. The sink waste running across the concrete slab outside.
Every bit of negative information was drip fed after booking.

The cottage was a family home and not a furnished for rental. Safe. Excellent location for exploring the area and walking the coast path

The location of the cottage was easy to find and in the heart of the beautiful village of Solva! Very close to the coastal walking path. Highly recommended for staying to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. The view from the cottage is amazing.

Short walk to coastal path and village facilities. Nice view from upstairs window.
Musty smell throughout the property. The cottage was shabby and generally in poor condition. The kitchen and adjoining bathroom (access to bathroom and separate toilet was through the kitchen), were dark, dingy, worn and dated although the area around the bath/shower seemed to have been refurbished and looked fairly new.

very cosy and welcoming - great location. Burner in the lounge !
a little draughty - but heavy curtains helped keep the room warm. night storage heaters are always a bit temperamental but this won’t be a problem in warmer weather

The rooms at the front of the house were bright and sunny.
The bathroom is downstairs. I’m not sure I would have booked the cottage if I had known this.

Great location near the coastal path with winding paths down to Solva harbour. Comfortable beds with fabulous views of the sea from upstairs. A real house which felt loved rather than a sparse holiday let.
Having the garden up the hill meant we didn’t use it unfortunately. And warning - the one loo if downstairs off the kitchen which seemed a long way in the night!

Cosy and warm cottage with charm and personality. A great base for exploring the area. Our host was helpful and engaging ( thankyou).
It was not a problem for the two of us but I could envisage an issue with one bathroom , should there be a house full.

Fantastic location and superb host. Very prompt in answering our questions and providing information. Short walk down to harbour for crabbing. Lovely walks.

The location and easy access to the coastal path. The welcoming vase of daffodils welshcakes & fresh milk were a lovely gesture. The owner was very helpful before we arrived supplying a map of the area and suggestions of places to visit.
There was nothing to dislike.

Location was perfect for us, basically on the coast path. The village is lovely and the surrounding towns are great to visit - lots of nice shops in St David’s for example.
Great with the fire and night storage heaters to warm up after being blown about on the cliff path, and nice having the bath too to warm up.
It’s up a bit of a hill from the main village and parking isn’t directly outside the properly - something to be aware of if this would be an issue for you.
Nothing!
