About this house rental
Affordable meets comfortable in this cozy home overlooking Netarts Bay. This lovely home is just a 5-minute walk to Netarts Bay and a 5-minute drive to the hillside village of Oceanside, with its iconic 3 Arch Rocks and secluded double beaches connected by the Rosenberg tunnel. Take advantage of the miles of beach that connect Netarts Bay to the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. If you enjoy crabbing, clamming, or fishing, Netarts Bay has the best on the Oregon Coast. There is room to park your boat and crab boats can be rented less than a 5 minute from the house.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a gorgeous view of the Bay and Ocean. The interior is spacious with separate areas for adults and kiddos. There are 3 bedrooms: The master bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom with a claw foot tub; the second bedroom also has a full size bed, and the third has two twin size beds with a full bath with a tub/shower combo in between the rooms. The bottom floor is a bonus room with a Smart TV, 2 couches and a queen size bed along with a full bathroom. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the loft!
The comfortable living room has plenty of seating for all of you to enjoy spending time together talking or watching a movie on the Smart TV. There is also Wi-Fi at the house so you can continue to stay connected on your personal devices or laptops.
You can eat brunch, try cheese tasting, and all that Tillamook has to offer in just a short seven-mile drive. Located just off the Three Capes Scenic Drive, the house also offers easy access to sand dunes, fishing, a lighthouse, whale watching and more.

The stay was trouble free and everybody had a great time. The house was clean, roomy, and in a great location. best part was the check in process very friendly and helpful. I would for sure stay there again.

We filled every bed in the house and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the beach. The view is beautiful and we could even take a quick walk down the hill to our favorite restaurant, The Schooner, or the bayside beach. The beds are comfortable and the home was nice and clean. The only inconvenience is sharing the driveway with the property behind the house, but the neighbors were friendly and it was not a problem for us. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. We loved it and plan to rent it again next summer. Sarah from Shore Thing was very responsive too. We had a great rental experience.

I would like to suggest that you always have someone inspect your homes after the cleaning person has left prior to the guest arrival!! There was lots of cobwebs and the basement floors had not been vacuumed for some time. Suggest the owner cut down the tree that is blocking the beautiful view!

Communication with property manager easy, location was great, good amount of towels and TP. Many plates and utensils. Not sure if there was a knife sharpener but I could’ve used one in the kitchen. Many sheets etc. House has a great layout, this was worth our time and money. Great value.

Our property managers truly went above and beyond! Their exceptional communication and availability made for a great stay. Cleanliness was impressive, especially the spotless windows that provided magnificent bay and ocean views. The pellet stove warmed us nicely on chilly nights. The home even had a comprehensive binder with photos and step-by-step instructions. The weather couldn’t have been better: out of seven days, five were 100% sunny, and only two were drizzly. Hey, not bad for the coast, right? Some things were showing their age (as in dinosaurs!): the fridge froze half of our food, much of the shelving either had missing parts or was broken, and the surface of the claw-foot tub rendered it unusable. But overall, our experience was terrific.

Loved our summer vacation trip to Netarts Bay! Quiet neighborhood with close location to the beach. Plenty of space for our 7 adults and 1 6 year old. Easy check in and check out process! Property manager that I spoke with, Sarah, was available if there was ever any questions! Lots of dishes to cook own meals, including pot to boil crabs you catch in bay through local crabbing company. Highly recommend property to anyone wanting to book!!!

Wow did we have a blast here! Beautiful views, great communication from host, very comfy home but with the charm of a beach house. We were so close to the beaches, and pretty close to a great restaurant off of the beach that had a fun vibe. Yes we would stay here again.

The house was large enough for us to visit family. The house was in a great location, with an amazing view. The property manager was friendly & responsive, the house was very clean. Only complaint is that the house is old & worn, furniture is uncomfortable, beds are awful, kitchen appliances are broken. I would give it 5 stars if they updated the property.

Very solid house. I'm the earliest riser and this is the first place we've stayed where the floors, doors and beds don't creak waking everyone up. Plenty of comfortable seating. Great view of the water. The only thing I wish had been different is the upstairs bathroom is a tub only. But that's really no big deal. If one of our girls weekends is back to this location, I would book here again.

The view here is amazing 🤩. Can hear the waves 🌊, walk to the beach in 5 minutes perfect to watch a magnificent sunset. Sarah was very helpful letting us know when clear to check in and everything we needed was supplied. One item of note there’s no A/C but with location and windows it’s probably not necessary it just happened to be 80+ degrees while we were there 🥵. The house was the perfect set up for our group of 2 family units with a toddler and 3 unattached adults. One toddler downstairs and one upstairs for sleeping while visiting fun continued on main floor.

We had a great stay in Netarts! The house was a perfect size for our family (6 adults and 4 kids). The location was excellent for exploring the surrounding area.
The house was spacious and we found it very clean.
Things to know, the furniture is dated and starting to wear out, but that did not detract from our stay. They also talk in their listing about there being room to park a boat. As a boat owner, I don't find that accurate. The driveway is very steep, and I think it would be very difficult to park a boat.
Other than that, we had a great stay and plan to return again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for 6 of us. The view of the bay was spectacular at sunset. There were minor things that need an upgrade. They need better cooking pans and the pellet stove wasn’t quite working as it should.

Fantastic house, wide open windows with a great view of the bay with lots of natural lighting. The house has a pellet stove for more heat, and comes stocked for your stay. There is a helpful tsunami evacuation plan and a very thorough explanation of crabbing in the area. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans et al.
We had a problem with one of the toilets, but the PM Sarah was quick to respond and fix our issue. The access road is very narrow and kind of sketchy. The house is very vertical, with steep entry stairs and three stories, so perhaps not the best for some people.
We had a great time, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house was very nice and well stocked. Sarah was wonderful when we had a problem with the smoke detector. She brought another one lickety split and installed it. She prepared a very clean and inviting home for us. The chocolates were the icing on the cake!

We really enjoyed our stay. Pearl St off 131 was not well marked. Once we found it we were ok. We loved being able to spread out. My husband and I slept in the double bed room on the main floor and I have to say it wasn't a good experience. Everytime one of us moved we weren't sure if we would fall to the floor. We're not heavy people. Other than that the whole family loved the house.

Truly a wonderful house to stay in, My family enjoyed their time together. Our only complaint is that the knifes are dull and the cooking pans are a bit old and scratched up. I would suggest an update on the kitchen ware.

This is a great place with a great view. We had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive and very helpful. Only glitch was that the email with instructions for the key pad went to my spam box, so make sure you check there if you don't receive them.

I would definitely recommend this property and host. I had a group of 8 adults stay 2 nights. Easy beach access for crabbing and clamming and plenty of space to hang out in the house. The host was super nice and helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries

This was a comfortable, cozy house with a gorgeous view of the bay, the pelicans, and the ocean beyond. One of the pull out couch beds was not comfortable. Most beds were fine. One of the blinds in the living room didn't well. But all-in-all, we had everything we needed for a wonderful time!

Very nice location on a hill overlooking the bay, short walk to the bay, short drive to the ocean. The home is spacious and comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was clean and homey, lots of seating for everyone to relax and a good selection of puzzles to work on in the evenings. A couple minor signs of wear and tear (holes in screens, damaged blinds, etc) but nothing major. Note that the kitchen/living room is up a flight of stairs on the 2nd floor so not accessible if that's a concern. Great interactions with the host, very quick responses and very friendly and helpful. We'd love to stay here again :)

Clean, well-equipped, comfortable place with open floor plan. Good communication with management personnel, who were patient and professional. Great views of bay/river and ocean beyond (note: there are several utility lines slung across the front of the house's second floor that you must look through). For those with mobility issues, the stairs may be daunting. In the room for improvement department, the nonstick cookware needs to be replaced, the carpet deepcleaned, and some of the window treatments need to be better secured.
