The Hillbilly Hideaway is an amazing place to stay in Murphy's. It is very close to the main street and within walking distance to everything in Murphy's. It even has parking which is hard to find on the main street. It is stocked with everything that you need and the hosts are super friendly and will answer all of your questions. This is our second stay here and will stay here again!!

We had a great stay in Murphys at this property. It felt very private and we had enough space for two. It was clean and nicely decorated, and the table was big enough for puzzles and board games in the evening. Most importantly, it was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go in Murphys.

Overall excellent stay and would book again! It fit our needs perfectly! The location is excellent and we took advantage of walking to most places we went. It was tidy and clean when we arrived and had all the comforts you might expect. We came to town for a wedding and needed to hang some formal clothing and while there isn't a dresser or closet in the space, they quickly provided several hangers upon request. AC + fans worked great and the shower was nice. Lovely town, lovely space, lovely hosts only suggestion would be a full length mirror.

This was the perfect space for my wife and I to stay while attending a family members wedding. It was a short beautiful walk to the downtown area (the reception was near the pour house). The place was neat, clean and updated and very welcoming upon arrival. We will be back to Murphy's soon and will definitely look to stay here again!

Short road trip to hike and enjoy the Fall colors and cooler temps! Murphys and other old gold rush towns within a short drive made it a very interesting and enjoyable stay. Great food and beer options within easy walking distance.

Perfect spot to walk to Murphy’s Main Street and enjoy the surrounding area for the weekend. Charming décor and the A/C during summer was much appreciated. Super easy all around. Hosts were kind and helpful…especially when we had to return post check out for a left behind cell phone!

We came into town to attend a concert at Ironstone amphitheater. We randomly chose this property, and we were not disappointed! It is conveniently, located a quick walk from lots of shops, food, and wine tasting. It is super super cute with plenty of space for two people. We didn’t need to utilize the kitchen, but it was nice to have the option if we needed it. It’s decorated adorably, the bed was comfortable, and the owners were kind. We were a little worried that it was somebody’s side house, but ultimately it was just like having our own space and wasn’t a problem at all. Would definitely stay again! We ate dinner at El Jardin near by and it was delicious!

Thoroughly impressed. This place is super cute and super comfy home. The hosts are amazing. The location is superb. I would rate it at six stars if available. This is a great place to stay really close to town. We were able to walk to Main St for all of our needs. Super easy check-in and check-out process. The property managers were super communicative and accommodating. Also, the bed is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here!

I loved this place so much. It was perfect for my husband and my birthday weekend getaway. The walk to the Main Street was maybe 5 minutes, tops. The bed was comfortable, the towels were plush, and they had all the things you need for a weekend away. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return.

I was working in Murphys and stayed at this adorable property for two nights. It was spotlessly clean. One thing I noticed, compared to other properties, is that the linens and towels were really nice! It was in a convenient location, easily walkable to Main Street, and very quiet. I will be back for sure.

I love that they have humbly titled this space as “Hillbilly Hideaway.” While we were not expecting to be staying in what appeared from the outside to be a garage conversion within feet of their home, it was exceptionally done! Our entrance was on the other side of the building which gave us some privacy coming and going. Once inside, it was Parisian apartment meets Magnolia style decor. Everything was clean and crisp and thoughtfully decorated with great style. The shower was a beautiful oasis in and of itself! The lighted mirror was a fun surprise and choosing the “best” lighting for this 60 year old face was delightful for putting on makeup. The kitchen was intimate, but I was glad to not help out as much with cooking. The owners made sure we had propane for the grill, and we were able to enjoy a nice steak on our night in. We missed a vessel to use in the stove for our Brussels and bacon, but picked one up in town earlier and left it there for the next ones. The bistro set for dining added to the Paris style and we thought it was quite comfortable enough to eat dinner and play a few games. Perhaps a glass top would be a nice addition without sacrificing that chic style. The location was perfect. A quick walk to town for shopping and dinner, yet nestled in the trees far away enough from the liveliness of town to make the walk back under the evergreens and stars simply magical. Great job on making our much needed getaway cozy and comfortable!

This property is decorated just beautiful. Small Kitchen fully stocked. Access to outside bbq. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Good sized bathroom. Own parking spot. Walk to town. It was perfect. We’ll be back.

The place is really cute and clean; decorated very well! My sister and I stayed for two nights. We loved the soft white bath sheets; the mattress and linens were nice and comfortable. A small eating table would be nicer than the lawn furniture there currently, but we didn't cook or eat there. I didn't realize from the ad that the unit is a build outoff the main house. It's a short walk from Main Street Murphys. Very nice little place!
