The Villa at Val du Vino Winery, located in downtown Murphys, is the ideal gathering spot for family and friends. A nicely remodeled home with a relaxing pool, hot tub, grassy lawn area, front deck, back patio, and plenty of off-street parking, surrounded by 3 areas of open space and vineyards. The home sits just off Main Street adjacent the Val du Vino Winery, so you're about as close and convenient to downtown Murphys as you want to be, but without the traffic and parking issues. Just a few minutes walk to the Murphys Hotel, shops, restaurants, two dozen wine tasting rooms, community park, playground, bocce courts and the river. A comfortable and inviting floor plan with open living, dining and kitchen areas that make it an an easy place to gather. A gourmet chefs kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and entertaining, with a Dacor 8-burner gas stove and two ovens, refrigerator with automatic icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, toaster and blender, plus a gas BBQ on the patio. Coffee beans, half and half, teas, hot chocolate, and basic spices are provided. Five-star amenities like chocolates by the bedside, snacks, fresh flowers and free WiFi have it stand out from the rest. This home lives primarily on one level with three bedrooms, three full baths on the main level, one bedroom and a half bath downstairs. If you're looking to sleep 10, there is an another room downstairs with a set of bunk beds that can be opened up for an additional $100/per person per stay for up to 2 nights. The layout is a comfortable choice for guests of all ages, with a wheelchair accessible ramp from parking to the front door, and a stall shower in one of the bedrooms, making it easier for those with limited mobility. Other comforts include central heating and air conditioning, a toasty gas fireplace, laundry room with pool towels provided, a piano, two guitars, cornhole, all-age games and books to keep you entertained. A fully fenced backyard keeps pets safe and happy. Plenty of off-street parking for vehicles, plus a level spot on the concrete basketball pad to park a boat. On various Tuesday nights we host an all acoustic open mic in the music barn next door, and you are welcome to drop by to watch or participate. Can’t wait to book again! Great home with tons of space. It is definitely a kitchen for cooks!! If you love to cook, this place is totally equipped. Bed were very hard, but that is my only complaint. We loved it!

House was clean, other than dead bugs in window sills, patios were dirty, bar-b-q pit was really dirty. Air filters were covered with dirt, mold around air return in hall way. Air filters really needed to be changed out.

This was my second time staying at this property. I love Murphy’s and the location of this house is unbeatable. Sadly my first experience was much better. This time the pool was quite dirty - leaves, dirt, dead insects & dead frogs found in the pool right upon arrival. The patio furniture was missing many of the cushions and the cushions that were there were quite old and dirty. We ended up putting them to the side and not using them at all. The dishes in the kitchen were not cleaned well. We found food stuck to most of the silverware and some of the dishes. We ended up washing everything before eating just incase. The couch smelled of BO in certain spots and the floor turned your bare feet black. The house is really beautiful and the location is wonderful. The host is accommodating and easy to communicate with. It seems that the upkeep may be lacking though. Overall we had a great time but unfortunately I don’t think I would ever reserve this house again for a vacation due to the cleanliness.

My recent stay at this Vrbo in Murphys, California exceeded all expectations. Situated right in the heart of downtown, its location couldn't be more perfect, especially for wine enthusiasts like myself with wineries just a stone's throw away. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring the charming town incredibly convenient. The property itself was a delightful surprise - well stocked, incredibly comfy, and perfect for entertaining. Whether it was lounging in the cozy living space or relaxing in the spa, this place checked all the boxes. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Murphys. Can't wait to come back!"

Great home in Murphys! I wouldn't have changed a thing! This is well maintained home with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy, and we enjoyed them all. Everything was top notch. Very clean, quiet and comfortable with room for our entire party. Full kitchen with everything you need. Easy two minute walk to Main Street and all of Murphys’ great wine tasting and attractions. We will enjoy staying here on our next trip to Murphys with friends.

The house has just about every amenity you could ask for. The only bummer for us was we went in early Spring and it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. But the hot tub was fantastic! Such an easy walk into town, our group would love to come back during the summer some time. THANKS!

House is very roomy and comfortable. Had a great stay tasting wine and enjoying local food. The new downstairs was awesome for the family with kids. The location is perfect being minutes from downtown (easy walk). We have stayed here several times and always a great experience. Host is very friendly and communicated in a timely manner. This is a great home to stay in while exploring Murphys. I alway love when a property manager makes you feel taken care of and they definitely do that at the Villa at Val du Vino. This was my second visit here. The first was with bunco ladies and the most recent was with family. Each was special and fun! I hope to be back soon!

The Villa was perfect for our group of four. We each had our own bedroom and bath. The house can easily sleep eight or more. Great location, beautiful views to wake up to early morning. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked. We have stayed in this house many times but this is the first stay after the remodel by the new owner. We will be back!

We found the getaway home perfect for 3 couple and 2 small dogs. Each couple had a bedroom & bathroom exclusively theirs. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Though the weather didn’t cooperate the pool was inviting but we didn’t use due to rain and lousy weather. The fenced, lawn yard was perfect for two small dogs. The best was the coffee, tea, half & half, candies and flowers provided to the guests. Very thoughtful!

What an amazing property. I was looking for a fun getaway for my friends and family to gather. Knowing that it can get really hot in Murphy’s, I was looking for pool access and A/C. This property had a pool and hot tub right on site! Although the hot tub never did get too hot, it was wonderful to soak in after a day at nearby Calaveras Big Tree State Park nevertheless! The kitchen was fantastic, stocked with anything a gourmet chef would need. There were three bathrooms so there was plenty of privacy there. This immaculate place was set way back off Main Street, all on its own, but still walking distance to downtown Murphys and all of the restaurants and shops. It was a great stay! The fact that dogs are permitted is such a bonus. We had a fabulous time and hope to return.

This place was perfect for our family stay-cation. The house had everything we needed and was exactly how it looked in the photos. We got locked out one day and Janet was very responsive and sent someone to help ASAP. The pool was perfect on a hot day and it was wonderful to be so close to town. Would definitely stay again!

A charming retreat from life. The house was as promised and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was fabulous! Wineries, tasting rooms and the best little shops to wind your way through fill the main street that is only a five minute walk away. Our hosts were kind and responsive.

This is my 3rd visit here. The house is the most well stocked house I have rented. Its very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great location with an easy walk to town. Just love the views of the vineyard too.

Beautiful property located in walking distance of downtown so very convenient. The pool was nice to lay out and dunk in as it was 83 degrees. The house is very cute and well maintained and clean. The amenities and snacks were nice. We will be back again. Thank you
