The property is wonderful. Home is massive and clean. Very peaceful, and great views. We had a couple things that were concerning though with customer service. The grill provided was completely rusted through and should not be listed as an amenity for the house. AC in the master bedroom was poor and much hotter than remainder of house. Customer service said they would check on this and they never did. They also said they would send an extra fan and never did. A mirror also fell in middle of night and we discovered it was help up with command strips. Overall we loved the stay, just with the kind of money you are spending to be there, you expect top quality and in a few cases this was not true. But the house overall is truly wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing. The drive up was steep, and gravel. But Any car would be able to do it. This would be truly terrible to get up in Snow however so only book this home in winter if you are completely prepared with the right vehicle.

Perfect location for my daughter’s graduation weekend from Appalachian State. Room for everyone to sleep and celebrate. Views were stunning. Highly recommend

This home is very well equipped for a large family. Each bedroom has extra sitting space, so a long stay feels plenty comfortable. The furniture and amenities are well kept up, and the place was very clean. The location is convenient, and the mountain was easy enough to access in the snow. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This house was nice with beautiful views and nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The downstairs bedroom does share a bath with a bunk bed room. Comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and hot water never ran out. The only negatives would be that the cleaning people need to take a “deeper dive” once in a while. There was dust around windows and corners, dried cereal and macaroni noodles between the boards on kitchen table, and just some overall stickiness to some surfaces. The two blinds in the upstairs bedrooms are hung outside the window casing and therefore don’t cover the entire window (this could easily be remedied). All the bedrooms were spacious. Good light in the bathrooms. A headboard of some sort in one of the upstairs bedrooms would have been nice as your head is right up against the window sill with the blind that is hung incorrectly. It’s a beautiful home but I’m just being honest about some points as I would like to know when I’m looking to rent. We had no trouble with the .7 distance of gravel road to get to the parking area of the house.

Family vacation
The property was clean and spacious with a great view. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. Check in was easy and the management company answered all my questions quickly.
The gravel hill going up to the house is difficult even with an all wheel drive car. The dishwasher is small for such a large house.

Tubing weekend
Our family stayed here last year and couldn’t wait to bring a group of friends up to stay and take our kids tubing. The house is perfect for a medium sized group, and everyone had a blast!

Great space for our group
We enjoyed our stay here so much! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space for our group of 14. Our only frustration was the driveway. We took all the precautions and prepared as best we could with the directions given by the host but still struggled to get up to the house one night with our 4WD vehicles and ended up getting stuck at the house that night and wasting money that we spent for our night skiing tickets that night since the driveway was not driveable. Other than that the stay was great!! We only wished the host would have been a little more forward with the actual conditions of the driveway during the weekend of our stay and that there would have been a quicker response to our request to come and plow or assist us in some way to get down from the house.

The property was just as described and is a very large, well-outfitted house. We had all we needed in the kitchen to prepare a large Christmas turkey dinner. There were also plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our group of 14. There are several ¨family" areas so people can have alone time when needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

BEAUTIFUL Home!
What a GORGEOUS home! We were up for a long weekend celebrating our son's graduation from App State. The location is convenient to everything and the views are amazing. The home was immaculate and we had everything we needed and more (except a bread knife- we smooshed a loaf with a regular carving knife- haha!). There was more than enough "starter" items for us- ie: paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dw soap, restroom bar soaps, etc. (no leftover laundry detergent, so I recommend bringing a small amount for accidents). The cows on the next property were a pleasant surprise- scared us the first night though in the dark- lol!
For travelers:
Definitely take your time driving up the road to the property- it's gravel and very curvy and steep.
Watch your step in the yard- some "cow patties" around.
There is a beautiful wrap around porch, but the only seating is 2 rocking chairs off the master suite. We noticed 4 folding camp chairs in the laundry room as we were packing to leave, so those would have been good for the porch and around the firepit.
Lastly as FYI- the TV's are Roku- the app for "regular tv" is the AT&T app- the local stations on it are Raleigh.
Would definitely stay here again!

50th wedding anniversary
We had a great time celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary of our parents/grandparents. The house was perfect for our needs and was a clean and comfortable setting for all of us. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great experience
The house is beautiful with a great view. We experienced a full day of snow and definitely needed 4WD to get up the driveway after. Would love to visit again!

A stay to remember
We would like to thank the blue ridge team, they were friendly, informative, and responsive before, during, and after our stay. The cabin was everything we expected and more. From the on demand fireplace, to the smart TVs throughout, this house was well equipped to relax and forget about the outside world. Accessibility to the cabin, though seemingly challenging, was a breeze after these foreigners got used to the uphills. The proximity to nearby attraction was fantastic! If you want to ski while staying away from the frenzy, this is you place! We will definitely be visiting again!

We enjoyed our stay at this big cabin—extremely spacious with trendy interior design work and fully equipped with necessary amenities. Brand new and super secluded with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The road becomes gravel halfway up the mountain, but our sedans had no trouble getting up in rain or shine.
