The perfect short break!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alpaca Fold! Judith was a lovely host who couldn’t have been more helpful. We got to meet and feed the alpacas, and even take two of them for a walk. The hot tub was perfect, and both our room and the summerhouse were beautiful and spacious. The dogs at the property were absolute stars too, they were lovely to have around. We’d love to stay here again!!

I would definitely stay here again, the stay was absolutely amazing and will be recommending!!

The service and hospitality from Judith is amazing, we couldn’t fault a single thing. So welcoming and cheerful she brightens up your day and always happy to help with anything you need. The room is exceptionally clean with the comfiest bed and filled with everything you may need during your stay. The summerhouse is absolutely gorgeous and the use of the hot tub was perfect.

Perfect getaway

Lovely two nights! Beautiful clean room with a view, Netflix and games. Lovely host! She took us around to get groceries ! Extremely well trained and cute dogs. Beautiful alpaca details around the property. And ofcourse the alpacas! Perfect getaway from the city to the quiet countryside. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. 100% recommend. The cafe close by is also great. Judith even spoke to a neighbour and took us to see new born lambs! Lovely hostess!

The most relaxing place

Judith couldn't have been more helpful. The location is beautiful. The room spotless and has everything you didn't even know you needed. Super comfy with stunning views. Gorgeous alpacas so close you can see them as you relax in the private garden or from the porch of the summer house as you prepare to jump in the hot tub. For a relaxing break this is the place to go.

Best little place in England, we will be back!

There are not enough stars on booking.com to show how wonderful our stay at the alpaca fold was, so they will have to be diamond encrusted, sprinkled with stardust and delivered by unicorns to make them truly worthy of this magical place. The accommodation is beautifully put together, everything is of a very high standard and your every need has been anticipated and thought of. There were even some yummy alpaca biccies and fudge waiting for us! The ginormous bed is incredibly comfortable and we slept very well. The summer house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, right next door to a big hot-tub and fire pit, all for your own exclusive use as there is only ever one set of guests staying. Then there are the stars of the show!!! The alpacas are all beautiful and so funny with their little personalities and noises. Marmite and Gandalf were my favorites whereas my other half favoured Beyonce and Autumn!! The babies were just too cute, it should be against the law!!!! The 2 dogs were great fun too, very well behaved and friendly. The hosts are fabulous, we were made to feel very welcome and at ease. We could have asked for anything we needed but to be honest, everything had already been thought of for us! The area is fantastic, Salmsbury hall is well worth a visit and in walking distance, and there is an archery course next door which was great fun too! We will definitely be returning next year for another stay!!!!!

It was a relaxing, fun enjoyable stay, even the weather held out.

We stayed at Alpaca Fold for two nights, the room was amazing perfect for two people, it looked exactly like the pictures. We had a summerhouse, hot tub and firepit to ourselves, Judith was a great host and regularly checked that we had everything we needed. The best part was meeting the Alpacas, we were able to go out on a walk with them and feed them, they are so cute. Judith told us all about the alpacas and their personalities., having the dogs there as well was fun. I would definitely recommend this unique experience and I would go again.

Host was friendly and lovely. Alpaca walk was amazing and great fun, was nice to have them next to accommodation and be able to feed them. Owners dogs were fun to have around and room itself was ideal for a quiet break away. Will come again!

Everything was amazing! The location, the room, the dogs, the alpacas and the owners! Absolutely loved our stay. The room was immaculate, the hot tub and wet room was amazing. We took the alpacas for a walk and fed them. Can’t wait to book again. Thank you so much for making our stay great.

Amazing spot, highly recommended

The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was modern and fresh and had all the usual amenities. There was an added bonus of a mini fridge in the room and a selection of board games. Water and milk were provided and Judith had left some delicious homemade alpaca shortbread. The summerhouse was perfect and soon warmed up with the heater provided. The hot tub was also clean and extremely relaxing. The two resident dogs, Skye and Lady, were adorable and made my sons trip perfect. We had a walk with the alpacas and saw the newborn lambs. This has been the best break we have had for a long time. Judith was always on hand to help with anything. A perfect, relaxing holiday.

Our stay was amazing, Judith and hubby were the best hosts we could ask for!

The room was spotless, huge comfy bed, immaculate hot tub with use of summer house and fire pit. Also took the Alpacas for a walk which was such a fun experience.

Exceptional

Everything. Judith was the perfect host from start to end, we felt so welcomed into her wonderful world. The room, summerhouse and hot tub were immaculate to say the least, and the detail included and effort that has been made to make the experience amazing is indescribable. From the bubbly and homemade tarts on arrival, to the marshmallows for toasting on the fire, Judith provided everything we needed and more and it really made our stay unforgettable. As animal lovers, being surrounded by her lovely pets topped off our stay, her lovely dogs always welcomed us onto the property and played ball until bedtime. The alpacas were in the barn for the winter but were only a short walk away so we could visit them at any point to give them a fuss. We fed them and took them on a walk with Judith on the Sunday where she answered our questions and took photos for us. If you’re after a place to stay to forget about everyday life and chill out then this is the one for you. We feel so lucky that we found such a fabulous place to stay. We will definitely be returning in the summer!

Such an amazing weekend. I would highly recommend Alpaca Fold. We will definitely be back!

Alpaca Fold was amazing. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The summer house was perfect for our evenings, again comfortable and cosy, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake for us. Talking of cake….we were greeted by homemade lemon drizzle cake on our arrival! Judith is an excellent host and made us feel so welcome, and even took us walking with the alpacas.

Lovely

The whole experience was great from food, facilities to the owner and of course the alpacas. Will certainly be returning.

The only blip was with the signage, it took us a while to locate the farm ,a bigger sign at the entrance would be a great improvement but a very minor niggle

Judith was so welcoming and her farm is gorgeous. She couldn’t of been more helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub and summer house was very private and we had the best time walking the alpacas. We had the best stay and will definitely be returning! Thank you again

Fantastic stay at Alpaca Fold

Arrived at Alpaca Fold to an amazing setting for my partner's birthday, the resident spaniels gave us the warmest welcome as did the absolutely lovely hostess, Judith! She really had thought of everything and with what appeared to be comfort and relaxation in mind. The room was fantastic and pretty much brand new all over with nice touches like soft toy Alpacas and artwork, and the bathroom is sublime as well. There was also a coffee maker with a variety of coffee pods, hot chocolate and tea. The summer house was cosy and has a fridge, heater, comfy chairs, etc. The breakfast was also left in there for us consisting of a little continental breakfast of meats, cheese, bread, fruit and juice etc. The hot tub was fabulous and ready for us when we arrived and Judith made sure everything was perfectly safe for us to use. We were able to take the alpacas for a walk which was an incredibly joyful experience and the animals ( Jack and Harrison(?) ) looked very presentable is their cute collars and were surprisingly polite and gentle (mostly😂). Judith told us about the farm and alpacas and patiently answered our many questions. All the needs we had were catered for and beyond so with the little favours Judith did for us and was topped off by a bottle of prosecco left as a birthday present . Highly recommend, thank you!
