Everything was great.. the size of the cottage was perfect for the 5 of us.. my 4 year old grandson enjoyed the view.. he spent most of his time their watching the pirate ships go by..( fishing boats ).. lol.. he didn't even want to come back home..it was nice and quiet..
Mattresses were kinda thin and beds were low to the ground for my "6.2" husband but everything else was great.

Next to the water made it a wonderful location and number of birds just added to the ambiance. The bottle of wine was a nice touch.
Could have have been cleaner. Dust on furniture and surfaces.

A great view and a cozy, clean property.
Fireplace remote needs a change but works good manually.

Nice 3 bedroom summer cottage on Lake Erie east of Leamington Ontario. Right on the water with concrete shoreline protection and but no safe access to the lake. Very functional well equipped kitchen with all the amenities mentioned on the Booking.com site. The wine fridge was an added bonus as was the Keurig coffee maker. The neighbourhood is quaint and very quiet. East southeast unobscured lake vista from the back decks with a spectacular sunrise vista. New patio furniture, useable gas bbq. Great water pressure in the shower. Sufficient closet space. We did not use the washer; but it would be nice if staying longer than our 3 day weekend. The property met the Sue's Lakeside Haven list of items and inclusions in the description on Booking.com. Internet worked well.
Sadly the overwhelming drawback is the pungent and overwhelming odour of sewage that permeates the open floor plan affecting living room kitchen and eating areas. There were multiple room deodorizers but they were ineffective. It makes me think that this has been a long standing problem. The property is in a rural setting and somewhat removed from Essex County Wineries and Restaurants. It was a half hour drive to the Pelee Island ferry in Kingsville with the need to have GPS for getting around the area. The exterior of the property needed a really good cleaning and fixing up. The BBQ was dirty and the area at the rear of the house was overgrown with weeds and discarded materials. There were loose electric cords hanging from the deck area with weeds growing in between the decking.

Everything we liked. Really suitable for families with kids. All possible facilities were available in the cottage. The view from the cottage is amazing. Kids enjoyed available board games, Nintendo, storybooks ... for the first time they were not bored at all.
Nothing could have been better. Everything was fine and well organized.

The view was Awsome and the place was clean! The beach down the road was great. The property was exactly as we expected.
Was unsure of the hot water but figured it out. Off and on we had a drain odour.

Location is good. Patio view is spectacular. Close to Point Peele, various beaches and wineries. Perfect for adults. Lack of activities in the area for active teenagers, though.
Lack of dishwasher.

The view was stunning! Having the garden closed by a fence was a definite plus.
At arrival, a lot of bugs inside the house. The bbq could have been cleaned before the start of the rental.

Location was beautiful. Cottage very clean and our host left us a basket with wine and chocolate. Great experience.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
