The property was very quaint and historic which we enjoyed. Communication with Sunny was excellent. The property was clean and very easy to find things. For an older house everything was in very good working order.

We stayed here for Ring Weekend. The house is about 25 minutes from West Point. The house had everything we needed to accommodate our family, plenty of bedrooms and areas to sit and relax. We liked the off street parking. Communication with the host was great!

We were attending a family event nearby and found this house exactly suited our needs. The house is an older house that has been updated/renovated. Very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the front porch as the weather was perfect for sitting out there in the evening and watching the world go by. We found some excellent pizza and a wonderful deli nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

Not happy at all. First impressions are everything. If you have a booking as a host the least you can do is make sure your rental is properly cleaned ready for renters. They only cut the grass.
This house is unkept, filthy dirty, dusty and bug infested. No privacy curtains to sheild from surrounding neighbors.
This large house only have 1 tv.
The refrigerator is dirty and wasn't cooling and it leaks. The holes in the floor had bugs coming thru as well as the smell from the basement.
Unless you don't mind getting bit up by the insects. The basement where the laundry room was advertised, looks like a dark wet damp and smelly dungeon filled with spiders and spiderwebs and other insects.
The backyard & the front porch was not inviting at all it was filled with overgrown weeds and debris and bugs. The front porch furniture was dusty and dirty.
Inside the home all of the furniture is old weak and wobbly, all windows throughout are old weak unsecured and not sealed properly. Bugs were getting in through crevasses around all the windows in the house we had to stuff them with towels or tape.
The grilling area was a unbelievable. Not even accessible unless you dont mind cooking underneath a covered weed & vine bush filled with insects. The table next to grill was dusty dirty.
With weed vines growing up the door entry.
The house just looks like no one has been there in years. No attention was giving to this property. My payment should have never been take

Short but fun. Great deal for four friends with a bedroom for each. View of the Hudson and easy access to many things to do.

My friends and I stayed two nights while on a girl's trip. The house had plenty of room for each of us to have our own room and we could have fit more people if needed. The house had everything we needed to make our brief stay comfortable. The property manager contacted me before arrival with a lot of helpful information and she contacted us while we were there to see if there was anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place!

We stayed over a long weekend while attending A day at West Point. This home is located in a historic street, lovely view, plenty of room and very well stocked for our needs! Instacart delivery went fine, and I highly recommend Adams Fairacre Farms grocery. Hudson Taco down the street. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Communication with the owner was outstanding in every way. The old house has so much wonderful character and is very accommodating for a group, with lots of space. The location and it's proximity to West Point for graduation week was just perfect.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The fabulously well equipped kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms are thoughtfully furnished and beds incredibly comfortable. In addition, our host sent us a fantabulous guide about the area that made me want to come back again and again and explore more of the area. Above all, the view of the river cannot be beaten!
Our trip was a writer retreat, so we mainly stayed inside, however, we loved the little al fresco dining area in the back and the wonderful porch (sit with coffee or wine and watch the river!)
Cannot recommend the place enough. The building/home is old, and has tons of charm, but has been lovingly maintained!

Our group of 7 stayed for 4 days to enjoy tours of West Point and to watch a football game. The location was ideal ,easy commute to and from the WP. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the Hudson. And the neighbors across the street had a beautiful cat that would sit on the roof and watch us drink coffee each morning. It was a short drive over to Hudson Taco, the food and atmosphere were perfect.

Weekend in the Hudson River Valley
The house was exactly as described. It was clean and well-stocked with everything we could want or need. The spotless glass shower walls and the sparkling clean white dishes were impressive! Air conditioning/fan in every bedroom was a plus. Sitting on the front porch, sipping coffee while watching the sun rise, was a delight. The street is lined with stately old homes from grander days; there is no house directly across the street giving a magnificent view of the Hudson River.

Unbelievably Spacious & Storied
Absolutely beautiful property surrounded by historic locations in Newburgh and just across the river from Beacon. There were 4 of us in this property that sleeps 7, and we all had our own beds & bedrooms with an extra room and a daybed leftover. Such a rare gem when booking Vrbos
Sunny was extremely communicative and left us with an excellent guide of things to do nearby, and not one of her recommendations was a letdown. Highly recommend staying here, and hopefully will do so again in the summer

Excellent 5-day Stay
We had an excellent stay at this house. Description is very accurate, but it also exceeded our expectations. Very charming, homey, and we felt at home immediately and could really relax and enjoy our stay. The home is very close to lots of things yet off the beaten path. We will try to stay here again!

Historic Newburgh
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the historic area of Newburgh. The property was just as described and Sunny was an excellent host who provided helpful information regarding the house and numerous recommendations for dining and nearby attractions. She was available and responsive. We frequently sat on the front porch enjoying the view of the Hudson River which was quite lovely. The nearby waterfront area had many good dining options with sunset views. We had a very good experience in Newburgh. Thank you Sunny for making our stay a comfortable one.

This property and the manager did not disappoint. The property was clean and well stocked with everything one needs. The manager was very attentive and hospitable. She even left us a bottle of wine. It was an easy and uncomplicated stay in which we were allowed to truly relax.

A good find!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay, except that bedroom we chose didn't have blinds on the windows. I'm sure that will be remedied. Kitchen was completely stocked. Porch overlooking the Hudson was our go-to gathering spot. Property manager was a great communicator.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful home
From the reservation process through checkout, Sunny was a very communicative and spectacular host. We never met in person, but she was quick to respond with any questions and provided some great area recommendations. The home itself is very charming and has a number of thoughtful aesthetic touches. It's also in a gorgeous historic block, with lots of dining options nearby—and a quick jaunt over the river to check out Storm King and Dia: Beacon.

Newburgh
Originally, we thought the home was in Beacon. It is actually across the toll bridge in Newburgh. Still a great convenient location to Beacon. Plenty to do in the area including riding the metro north train from Beacon to NYC. Also a pet friendly home which was good for us since we brought our dog. The beds were extremely comfortable!

Charming house with a great location
We loved our stay in this charming house that made us feel like we were back in time. You can tell there's a lot of history in this house. The check in process was easy and Sunny was very sweet and responsive. She left us some bottles of wine (it was my friend's birthday weekend) and gave us an extended check out on our last day which was much needed! The house was clean and the beds were comfy. There were some really great art pieces in the house. The downstairs bathroom near the kitchen is renovated and the shower has good pressure. The location of the house was perfect. Not more than 20 minutes drive to all of the activities we did in the area (Breakneck Ridge Trail, Benmarl Winery, Storm King Art Center, Newburgh and Beacon main streets for dining). Some of the restaurants we loved were Hudon Taco, Pamela's on Hudson, and Blacc Vanilla (for breakfast-the best egg sandwiches and muffins). We had a wonderful weekend in Newburgh!
