My husband & I and our adult kids stayed here. It was a great location, only a 5 min drive to OF, and on the beautiful channel. The house was clean and had everything you could think of stocked in the kitchen. Great kitchen for cooking meals at home. The host generously provided paper goods, beach towels, linens and more! We had fun watching the boats go by while sitting on the deck which has gorgeous views of the morning sunrise. Quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by. Wonderful host w/excellent communication.

We headed up to the Adirondacks to watch the eclipse and meet up with my Son's school group. We had a great time staying at Chuck's cabin. Super cozy and very well appointed. Lake view is awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Early summer getaway. Cozy lake house on the channel. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The home was lovely and so close to everything. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property, everything we could possibly need to feel at home. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the boats go by. So peaceful and relaxing. This beautiful property is only rivaled by the spectacular view of the channel and lake from the cozy chairs on the deck. The inside is clean, extremely well equipped, modern … yet also has that mountain cabin feel you want when visiting Old Forge. The hospitality of the owners was much appreciated and the quick communication was very helpful. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return!

It was a very cozy home by the lake! Everything felt new and the kitchen/bathroom was fully stocked with everything you need! The beds were perfect! Kids loved fishing off the deck. It was just perfect!

Everything was perfect, the host is very responsive and the place was super clean, comfortable with amazing lake views. I was worried about WiFi because I needed to do some work during our stay, we had no issues at all. This place exceeded our expectations! We’ll be back.

The house is fully renovated with upgraded appliances, comfortable furniture, etc. The setting on the waterfront is gorgeous and also offers plenty of ways to enjoy and access the water - from the deck off the house to the dock and the firepit area. With 2 small bedrooms and 1 bath, it is on the cozy side but if you are spending a lot of time outdoors, there is plenty of space to enjoy. And the access to town & hiking and biking trails is excellent.

We have been traveling to Old Forge for over 20 years to snowmobile and have been searching for the perfect property to rent ….finally found it !! Charles couldn’t have been nicer to deal with and property was well equipped with Everything. Location was perfect to pick up trail system. We will definitely stay there again !! We were looking for a nice getaway to Old Forge over Christmas break and I found this one as we were searching. It was just what we were looking for…. When we got there, it was even better! Chuck was awesome to deal with - texts back and forth and quick with responses. The cabin couldn’t have been nicer and was decorated so nicely - along with all the touches for the holiday season. Couldn’t recommend the place more and will say that you won’t be disappointed. Really close to town and far enough to be out “on your own”! Loved it and will likely be back in the future.

If you want a quiet, relaxing and cozy home, this is for you. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt relaxed and stress free. Whether it was from the deck or windows, the views of the lake and mountains were spectacular and we were entertained daily watching ducks make water landings. The home itself offered everything needed from linens and towels to kitchen appliances and utensils. We were there for over Thanksgiving weekend and experienced the first accumulative snow which made the scenery that much more beautiful. The wood burning fireplace was a huge bonus and we relaxed in front of it nightly. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded almost immediately if there were any questions. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to staying again.

This is a great property. The location is fantastic (short drive into town and the waterfront is at the end of the channel very close to first lake). The house feels new and is very clean. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Five stars all the way around.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. All one floor living made it easy for my elderly mom. The kitchen is fully equipped for whatever you will need. (Didn’t need to bring so much with us). It rained a little everyday at some point, but it was very relaxing watching all the boats go by. The fire pit area was beautiful and they provided the wood. The owners have paid great attention to all details and use of space. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We will look into another stay.
