Kips Cottage is a 300-year-old terraced cottage in the heart of Mevagissey, Cornwall. Hosting two bedrooms, including a second-floor double and a single, along with a shower room with separate WC, this property can sleep up to three guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. There is parking available in the villages public car park at a cost of £33/per week. Kips Cottage is a charming base for a Cornish coastal break.
Amenities: Electric panel heaters with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack of logs inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Note: sorry, no parking but option to load and unload at the property; public long stay car parks within 5min walking distance of property - extra charges apply. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub within 0.1 miles. Note - Minimum of 4 night bookings only.
Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Mevagissey is the perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September.
