The cottage is wonderful. The yard is private and so lovely and well maintained. We had everything we needed for our long beach weekend except sunshine but there were games at the cottage and wifi. We entertained ourselves well despite the rain in this comfy spot. 2nd time renting here (last year I had the big cottage next door ) and I will continue to rent every opportunity.

Quiet area , tucked away from the busy area, but close to everything. Nice cottage with everything you need.

We arrived to find cob webs everywhere, old paper towels in the air conditioner, chips in the couch, strange odor, bathroom ceiling peeling, algae growing on outdoor furniture and more. We didn’t stay and didn’t get a refund for our paid two nights.

We had a birthday getaway weekend in York for one of our friends and stayed at the cottage. Listing was exactly as described - easy to find, great location, and everything we needed for the three day stay amenities-wise. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great place off the beat. Quiet. All amenities included is a plus. Plenty of parking. Plenty of shade in a nice cozy front yard.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet place. My only complaint is the mildew on shower curtains and cieling fan was broken. Really appreciated the all the towels and things to get us by a few days.

Is cozy but lay out is good with classic cottage feel. About a 5m walk to beach; cabin is tucked away though so is very quiet and serene setting.

We enjoyed our time in York. Loved Nubble lighthouse and walking the beach and watching the tides. Went whale watching in Rye NH which was great. In the cottage, the bedrooms were very small. We had to leave our suitcases in the kitchen at night. The bathroom has no outlet. We arrived after dark and the directions were wrong. They said there was a sign on the corner of Cottage and Breezeway, which there was not. Also, they gave us a code for the house but didn’t tell us it was to a lockbox attached to the deck which had the key. There were burned out lightbulbs and everything was unplugged, which would have been ok if we arrived before dark. The tv didn’t work but when I reached out to the leasing company, they did respond quickly. The cottage was adequately supplied and the beds were comfortable. Kinda strange being in someone’s back yard if we wanted to spend time outside the cottage but we were too busy so it was ok.

Disappointed
Upon arriving, we discovered the address was wrong. That started a string of disappointments. This place is very, very small. There was not any space to have a suitcase in the bedroom with you. Bugs on the bathroom floor. No information about the area. TV did not work even when we followed the instructions. Light in the main bedroom did not work. Patio furniture was too dirty to use. No information about who to contact about problems.

Experience at cottage
Too small. Not very clean. Not enough electrical outlets. No privacy. Too close to owner of property and the other cabin was too close. No outside lights. Should have had a walkway to the cottage.

Little cabin close to beach and fun
The directions made this cabin great and easy to find. Our host and manager of the property was delightful and generous, pointing out the beach towels and beach chairs to use during our stay. While it's more of a cabin than a cottage, there is sooo much to do in and around York that we spent little time there in any case. The cabin was stocked with all the towels and extra blankets we would need for those chilly fall nights. A truly lovely experience, a gem of a place, and we'll be checking out dates to stay there again!

Perfect little cottage
This is the perfect little cottage for one or two adults and two kids. It is close to Long Sands but not so close that you deal with traffic and noise. The cottage is equipped with plenty of dishes and anything you could need to cook. There are plenty of linens and it was stocked with toiletries as well. There is a great deck to sit on with a grill if you’d like to cook. There are tons of beach chairs and various boards for renters to use at the beach. The cottage was very clean and the AC in the living room worked great. We will definitely be back,

Clean, cozy, quiet neighborhood
The cottage was perfectly clean. There was plenty of room for the three of us. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the grill for meals and relaxing. It was a nice quiet dead end road, great for a good night sleep after a long day at the beach.
