About this house rental
Beautiful lake front, boat dock, kayaks, near Clemson. This large family home sits on beautiful lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is famous for great fishing and many water sports. Just a short drive to Clemson University and many beautiful waterfalls. The house has seven bedrooms, five full baths and 2 half baths. Four of the bedrooms have their own private bath. Sleeps 16 very comfortably The house has two well stocked kitchens which allows for plenty of space to spread out. There is a two story gas fireplace, screened porch with lots of seating, large game room with pool table, ping-pong, etc. enjoy the water pad, 5 single kayaks and 2 junior kayaks, and 2 paddle boards.
Large gas grill and two porches for outside dining, and nice Charcoal grill. Hot tub and gas fireplace on lower patio with sitting area.
Fire pit down near the lake. There is a small charcoal grill as well as chairs and table. Great place for an evening fire or just relaxing by the lake.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this lake house on Lake Hartwell! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the serene atmosphere. The house itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living spaces were cozy and inviting.
One of the highlights was the spacious deck overlooking the lake, where we spent hours soaking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The private dock was a fantastic bonus, perfect for swimming, fishing, and launching our boat for a day on the water. The location was ideal, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, with nearby restaurants and shops just a short drive away.
The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway on Lake Hartwell, this is the spot!

Group of old friends needing 7 bedrooms on an annual trip. We enjoyed the roominess of the house and the multiple group areas for sitting around, talking, eating and playing music. The lake, kayak and paddle boards were great also. There were lots of great hiking areas within a 30 or 40 minute ride and boat rental available near by. One of the best houses we’ve rented for our annual get together.

This was the 32nd annual reunion for my family. We have an age range from 2 to 77 years, and everyone in my family found something special to enjoy about this property on the lake. There was plenty of room and lots of things to do so it was a great setting for our reunion.

This house has it all. The kayaks, paddle boards, kids toys, floats and water pad kept us all entertained. We rented a boat and kept it at the dock which was great. Ping pong, pool table and hot tub were all added bonuses as well. Great vacation spot.

Our high school military BRAT group has been gathering at the lake for over 20 years and this house is our favorite. When we enter the front door, it feels like we’re home….Because we moved so often growing up, being able to return to a familiar home means everything to us.

The house was awesome. The whole family enjoyed their time. Very spacious and tons of amenities (some great ping-pong games). Great host, very responsive to inquiries.

We loved this house and property. The house was clean and organized. The kitchens had everything we needed to cook meals. There were toys for the kids to play with and they loved the Lilly pad on the lake. It was so relaxing to sit by the water all day and let the kids play.

This house is perfect for large families. Beautiful views, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and clean with plenty of space. Our favorites were the 2 kitchens that were ideal for cooking our Thanksgiving meal, the gameroom where the teenagers spent most of their time, and the multiple bathrooms that allowed us all to get dressed at the same time when needed. It is a fairly remote property so be sure to stock up on anything you may need before you go to the property because stores maybe at least a 15 min drive. But I have no complaints on this house! Sandra was an awesome host and was very accessible although we didn't encounter any issues so we didn't need her. Our family would definitely stay at this property again!

Our family had a great time staying at this home. Great location for our daily ‘explorations’ of hiking, waterfalls, and putt-putt golf.
The home had plenty of space for us. The best part, we literally did not have to bring anything but our food to this well stocked home with a perfectly supplied coffee bar.
I wish I could comment about the fun at the community pool. We didn’t go. The kids just wanted to swim and play in the lake with all the water toys supplied by the home. We even caught fish off the dock.

I highly recommend this amazing Lakehouse if you are looking to make very special, unforgettable memories with your family and friends! This Lakehouse includes all of the necessities and amenities you could ask for! This property has everything for everyone with kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing, fishing off the dock, jumping off the rocks, swimming in the lake or at the community pool, corn hole, horseshoes, or just relaxing in comfy chairs making s’mores by the fire pit! The house offers plenty of room with three floors to sleep 16 comfortably! The two kitchens and two laundry rooms are well-equipped with everything you need! We really enjoyed the beautiful, heated spa in the evenings and the kids are now asking for a ping pong and pool table! We loved the time together and are so looking forward to booking this gem again!

This property was absolutely perfect for my family. For the last eight years, we have been doing a family vacation during the summer with our children & grandchildren. This lake house was the best yet and we will definitely book again. The owner's have gone above and beyond to make this vacation rental great. The home is fully stocked with necessities and they provide lake toys for children and adults. The communication with the owners was also exceptional.

We rented the house so that I could spend time with my children and their families. It was the first time all my grandchildren were together in one place. The house, property, and neighborhood were perfect for the 13 of us. We had a very nice time together. My husband and I have rented other homes on lake hartwell. This one was by far the cleanest and the most comfortable. Everything we could have needed was there. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It has plenty of room, plenty of amenities. The owners are fantastic. Being a youth group there were plenty of things for both the kids and the adults to do and enjoy and not get in anyone's way. We were already talking about coming back before we even left!

This property worked well for us as we had someone with limited mobility, it was easy for them to get in the house and the 2 bedrooms on the main level was very helpful. The kitchens were well stocked and was actually very convenient to do some prep downstairs and stay out of the way. Easy access to lake and a ton of fun activities. It is a little off the beaten trail, so depends on what you are looking for.

Perfect home for large, active families. Cleanest house we've ever rented for our annual trip. Dining table for 10, pool table and ping-pong table in good condition, hot tub, kayaks, large gatheting spaces for games, two kitchens, decks, porches, boat dock. Everything you need to build relationships and make memories. Host stated in touch through email, phone and text. We had no needs or problems but knew we could reach someone easily.

The property was perfect for our family of twelve. The twenty something’s enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables, kayaking and paddle boarding. They actually got in a Polar Bear plunge. The house was very roomy and was well maintained. We will return. And I have nothing but accolades for the owner, she was always available and prompt to answer all questions. Thanks for a great time!

Easy process and good communication. The only issue was the 2 younger children were down by the doc with their mother and were getting a beer can out of the water. They must have gotten too close to the neighbors property and he was disrespectful and belligerent to them.

This large house was great for our family reunion. There was plenty of room for everybody. We loved every aspect of the property, from game room to lounging porch. My fiancé and I stayed at the Lakehouse with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and their significant others! We came from multiple states so we wanted a quiet place with plenty of room. The house was big, clean, and had so much kitchen/fridge space for everything we needed! We loved it and had an amazing time! The renters were quick to answer and provided everything! Definitely would return.

Absolutely perfect!!! From the house, to the owners. We could not have had a better experience. The house is actually better than pictures. Tons of room. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Everything you could possibly need in both kitchens. Having a full kitchen on lower level was great for running in from the lake for a quick lunch.

Fully “loaded” house -kayaks, vests, water toys and indoors - pool table and pingpong; - kitchen has basic Needs and bathrooms are well stocked. It feels more like a family or a good friend letting you use their house rather than a VRBO rental. Appreciated all the supplies.

A great time!
We had a blast! Beautiful lake with lots to do. The house was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room for sleeping, cooking and eating. We had lots of good times kayaking, playing games in the game room, and hanging out at the fire pit.

Excellent home for large family
This was such. Large home and our family of 12 had room to move. Never felt like we were on top of each other. The view was excellent and relaxing. We had many pool tournaments and ping pong matches. Host was great to work with and reached out to check in a few times.

Very impressive!
I use Vrbo twice a year and this was a great place. The owner is so attuned to everything that you may need and is so easy to communicate with. This house is huge and we had 14 people with room to spare.
This is one of the best rentals that I have had, if you are considering it go with it!
