About this house rental
Amazing view with beautiful sunsets and waterfront access to the main lake on Lake Barkley. This home is situated on a point, offering panoramic views of the main lake as well as Donaldson creek. It is an excellent location for water sports and Fishing. The large boat dock is ready for use for those that want to bring a boat or rent one from the local marina. The boat ramp is just around the corner and a 2min boat ride from the home. Two kayaks are available for guest use.
This beautifully decorated home has three bedrooms and sleeps 11. Two bedrooms on the main floor, each have a set of bunk beds and a full or queen bed. Master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed private bath. Large downstairs area full of fun with a ping pong table and a dart board, couches and 2 twin pullouts, great for large gatherings.
This home is fully furnished with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. A fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and appliances, including a microwave, Dishwasher, crockpot, air fryer, ice cream maker, Keurig Coffee Pot that offers a single cup or full pot for a lager group, blender, serving trays and basic spices. Generous linens are provided and a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer will help extend your stay.
This home is located in a beautiful small town area and the Land Between the Lakes is a major highlight. Unlimited WiFi access is provided. We offer the best satellite option available. The unlimited WiFi supports multiple devices and streaming on two smart TVs. There are occasional challenges with satellite internet that comes with being in remote areas and during those times, we encourage use of the card games, ping pong table, darts, visiting the Elk and Bison area, horseback riding or water sports. Cable is not provided, however smart TVs connect through streaming apps. A DVD blue ray player is also available in the downstairs living area.
Two beautiful decks enhance the view. The upstairs deck has outdoor dining options and is equipped with a gas grill. Enjoy the sunset by relaxing in the cedar swing downstairs.
Afternoons are special at this home when sitting with family, gazing at the stars and enjoying a nice fire in the outdoor fire pit.
The large driveway accommodates multiple cars and a boat trailer that can turn around for easy entrance and exit.

The house is well stocked with everything we needed to cook with and needed for our stay. There is a dollar general and gas station 10 minutes away if you forget to bring anything. The gas station has bait and fishing gear if you’re wanting to put a line in the water. The dock was a favorite place for the family to hang out. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back!

The house and hosts were great. We had 5 people (2 parents, 2 teens and 1 grandma) for a week. The space fit us well with room to spare. Lots of spaces to be together for meals and to chill as well as get some alone time.
We brought our boat and utilized their dock. So handy to have it right there. Dock is solid. Walk down from the house is gradual. However, you do need to take your time on the stretch between the grass and the dock. Nothing crazy but some rocks and roots to be aware of.
Also, for those bringing a boat - plenty for room for your trailer in the driveway but I strongly recommend dropping your boat into the water prior. It's steep and even though there's a lot of room, it could get a little hairy for all but the most skilled at towing. No issues with getting the empty trailer up and down.
There is a boat ramp less than 5 mins away. Even with it being so close, we got a little lost due to the lack of cell service in that specific area. Plan accordingly.

This property is beautiful! The views were just stunning. It’s quiet and very peaceful. A great place to unwind and spend quality time with the family. The house was clean inside and very spacious. It was stocked with all the essentials. We will definitely be returning.

If you are hesitating on booking…DON’T!
This property is beautiful inside & out.
Our Boy Scout Adventure Crew chose this spot for their last trip as they are all graduating & going to different colleges. This was quite a fancy trip for Scouts as this home had everything!
I have never stayed at a home so fully stocked with whatever needs you might have. You literally just need to show up with clothes, food & toiletries.
There was a bad storm that hit a few days prior so there were some trees down. There was a lot of debris in the lake from the storm; however, that didn’t stop us from boating, fishing, kayaking & swimming.
The available dock is perfect as we brought our own boat. The main Marina is about a 20 minute boat ride.
The house was very clean & all beds were comfortable. The ping pong table, dart board & corn hole game was fantastic.
The owner was extremely helpful when we had questions & kept us informed about the storm prior to our trip.
I would definitely book this property again!

The lake house had everything needed from kitchen utensils to a boat dock for your convenience. The house is nice with 3 bedrooms, living room and a big family/game room in the basement. 2 1/2 baths and 2 large decks. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with sun, beautiful lake and more than this is it!!

This home had all we needed: beautiful views of the lake from two decks and large windows; a covered dock for our boat; a game room for indoor play; an extremely well-provided kitchen - high quality knives and cookware, plus spices; quiet location; smart TVs; plentiful and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The decks face west - awesome sunsets plus early morning light on the far shore as the birds wake up. Very pleased in every way.

We had a wonderful stay. The views from the house are incredible. Loved having a fire by the lake at night and hiking trails in the area. Husband loved fishing at the private dock. Cant wait to return during the summer months sometime!

This property was beautiful and had everything you would need for a wonderful lake vacation. We brought our kayaks and used the two provided. We fished and swam off the covered dock. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need and more. There were lots of family game night or rainy day activities provided as well. We hope to return next year.

Everything was just as described. The house was immaculate, i was so impressed with the cleanliness of the house. WELL DONE. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking. The property is very private, and the neighbors across the way were kind and even shared a watercraft with us for a bit. The view is breathtaking. We fell in love with the area and already planning our next visit. This was the best vacation we have had in a long time. Thank you so much, Paisley!!

Our first time visiting this area was made even more memorable by staying in this lovely, well-appointed home. The common spaces were spacious and the well-equipped kitchen had everything from sharp knives to containers for leftovers. Watching the sun set over the lake while sipping a glass of wine and roasting a few marshmallow peeps by the fire made for a perfect Easter weekend.

We had the best view and location of the neighborhood. Home was well equipped and we had plenty to do in the area during our stay. The listing mentioned using firewood on the property but none was provided. I spent about 30 min gathering wood down by the lake but much of it was too long. I contacted the number provided but received no reply the entire stay. Also, we couldn’t use the kayaks because there were no life jackets where the instructions said. We searched high and low. Will bring our own next time. There are wood borer bees and lots of wasp nests around the porches that need taken care of. Also the back porch has a serious sag on the grill side. I assume it is safe and the result of past settling but not sure. It definitely looks bad. Our boys enjoyed catching lots of smaller white bass right on the pier. Fantastic place for a quiet getaway. Would love to see a foosball and air hockey table added. Lots of room in lower level.

The home was beautiful, well stocked and very clean. The view of the lake was incredible. We enjoyed exploring Land Between the Lakes and the kids loved the ping pong table and darts downstairs. This is the perfect getaway- we’ll definitely visit again!
